- I have been wanting to make one of these bowls for a while now and I’m so excited to finally have one! This DIY project is super easy and simple to make and doesn't require a lot of supplies.

Can you use glue instead of the mod podge
Yes. Just use a bit of water to thin the glue out. Glue is a bit thicker than mod podge. 😊

What happens if the bowl gets hot does the glue melt and the bowl come apart

Arkansas Dreamweavers I would assume so especially since it is only made with modpodge. However, it is such a WONDERFUL idea for simple items that doesn’t require it to get hot.
So much easier to make a rope bowl with a sewing machine. ..just saying
This is just another way of showing how to make one for those that don't have a machine and/or don't know how to sew. 😊
Sorry but this is not the best way to do this. Also it doesn't look very pretty. 😞
