This is basically exactly how I make my burgers at home now. I use to NEVER, either. I had as couple really good double and triple meat burgers from McDonald's they'd hit right on and was like, man I can do that but way better and I did. Anyway, if you use the right ingredients on that Meat salt/pepper, American cheese, grill that bun lots of butter, ketchup and mustard and spicy pickles and they're HITTIN'. I cook mine in an iron skillet. Goes even better if done that way on the grill with some good lump charcoal IN the iron skillet.
But like I said, NEVER were my burgers done like this years and I hated pickles.
That's changed a LOT these days and this is above method I layed out is the only way to go.
