@@SharonLowen1 i could follow the guestures for the entire song being a novice to the art form. Howevr, i didnt follow what he is doing from 0:10 to 0:37. Can anybody explain what his guestures signify to the music. Btw the music is very soothing.

Am I guessing correctly that this melody is composed in raag Desh?
I too felt that there were the elements of raga desh and it has resemblance with the ashtapadi "vahati Malaya sameere" composed by Guru Gopal Chandra Panda, and so my guess is that this is raga deshabaraadi, which is the raga originally mentioned for the ashtapadi in the Shrigitagovinda.

@@ananyasengupta ah my apologies, this indeed is raga desha. I wanted to believe it to be of the same raga is it was originally intended to be by Jayadeva, but it's not deshabaraadi. It's raga desha.
