    Its not a toe it is a spur. Hens and roos get spurs.

      It’s not her spur. Her spur and foot had fallen off. The leg you see there was pointed in nature when it originally fell off. That is some new growth coming from the base where contact is made. Some of my hens have spurs and they’re on the back of the leg above the heel pad. This is not a spur. She’s been to the vet and the vet confirmed this. Her body is adapting plain and simple. Hence the video.
