I hadn't really thought of it that way, but yes, that would be freaking cool. We just need a set of eight of these, where each one makes a different sound when the balls hit bottom. :)
Astounding--comparable to the Theory of Relativity and the lunar landing! The world is a better place because of such marvels of engineering. God bless you Mr. Genius.
If you see his channel you'll see that he has a bunch of more complex mechanisms using these balls, includin things like logic gates, this can be very useful for timing as it changes a irregular flow into a regular flow
Okay, from what I can tell, most of you are finding this appallingly dull, and while I think the presentation was a bit slow, I don't think this was necessarily wasting your time. The idea of the mechanism was that it could, based on weights and pulleys, maintain a continuous rate with regards to when the balls dropped. This may not be interesting to you, but it's an at least somewhat novel idea and mechanism, with a fair amount of practical potential.
You know what i see? A sequence repeater. This is brilliant. I don't know a lot about music making, but you could end this device with a ball dropping on a drum, supply a constant flow of balls, maybe add couple more devices with different instruments at the end and voila! You have a cool music machine a'la Stomp. It would be cool to have it on your desk playing your favorite beat all day;)
Maciej Bretes Yes, and someone did something like you said. The marble machine by Wintergatan. I guess you did saw this vid. It was incredibly beautiful.
@@Ishtarocha I know the Wintergatan's marble machine and it is true that it is based completely on the movement of the marbles, but, if I am not mistaken, it does not have a mechanism like this anywhere. This is like the basis of a loop recorder, and this is why is so cool. In theory, you can execute any rhythm (or in general any pattern) until the first ball reaches the lever, because that's where the loop of beats that you configured starts again. I said in theory because any pair of pulses will always be separated by a minimum amount of time. This interval of time is the one that takes each marble to enter the molding of the piece with the shape of c, so you can execute the beat. It does not matter which trajectory the balls take. While it is a single path without deviations and all the marbles are delayed the same in crossing it, you have a loop recorder. You can even vary the interval of the loop by adding more sections of road modularly so that it increases in multiples of the initial interval, or as you want. You can make marigolds with this mechanism. In particular, it is an elegant and brilliant solution for the Wintergatan machines. I'm excited to see what can be achieved with this.
I thought they were going to demonstrate some paradoxical behavior, and challenge the viewer to explain the physics why - but it was more of a Zen thing, like watching a video of a woodland stream. Not much point, but kind of cool & fun.
No. Sperm from the testicles travel through the penis after a lot of friction occurs to said penis, which then needs to fertilize an egg inside a woman's ovaries which can be accessed through her uterus, or as some incorrectly call it, her vagina. Typically this is done by mostly straight people, in which a man sticks his penis into the vagina causing the needed friction and releases the sperm which travels to the egg. 10 months after that night a baby is born, unless a miscarriage or other tragedy happens. Abortion can also be used to terminate a pregnancy, but is typically only done in the very early stages. This is vastly dumbed down, but you're welcome.
