Whoops I made a mistake in counting the years at the lighthouse vision.. There's actually 9 of them.... Yeah big whoops. But if that theory holds weight, there'll be nine kids in white or eight of them if the last one was meant to be the BIW but Victor's cycle never finished cause he escaped his massacre hmm.....🤔
Right! I been thinking that since I first saw they had alcohol. And moonshine is the most flammable. Also instead of the box thing why not give them a machete or molotovs to see if you can kill them instead of just sacrificing them!! The winchesters would find a way
I don't understand why more people don't think that the worms allow people to walk around at night. Boyd was able to walk around unnoticed and it would also explain why Martin was tied up in the dungeon. Maybe the monsters tied him up because they aren't allowed to kill him, so they trapped him where he can't communicate with the rest of the town.
I do think you're on to something because Sara walked home at night. Right? In season 1? she left the door open and walked home at night, no problem. Anyway, Sara and boyd both had/have the worms. That could explain how her and Boyd survived outside at night with the monsters.
@Tamara in Tanzania yup I just re watched it. season 1 end of episode 4. Sarah is in the diner, grabs her arm, there is something (which I assume is the same thing as Boyd) crawling under her skin, and then they spell kill the boy. If those are not the same worms, then what is it?
Every main character has given an account on how they arrived in the town - except Victor. In fact, at least once he mentions that he's from THERE, it's his home. So I have to wonder if Victor & his sis & mom were original townsfolk somehow?
My theory is about the monsters. They were high school kids attending the Halloween dance/party. That explains the old Halloween decorations still around in the high school gym. It also explains all the different outfits - they were costumes. Home made 1950's era costumes- a milkman, a guy in a tuxedo, a cheerleader, etc. The other monsters (as seen in episode seven) are dressed like it's a prom sorta dance. This is noticable particularly when they're coming down the Colony House stairs- it's very "your date is here/prom" looking. Whatever happened in the 50's cycle (the one before Christopher and Victor) either turned the teens into monsters or bonded them to the monsters. Hence the Jasmine Monster saying "I didn't ask to be like this." to pornstache. The grannie Monster was there as a chaperone and got caught up in everything. I think there's one monster per talisman. There might also be one talisman per building in town- with the tour bus taking the place of the Matthews'place. The circle symbol seems to be a countdown to a horrible event. The "Blood Circle" we see in Jade's visions matches the one the monsters drew about halfway through their pictogram narrative on the cave wall- three points down.
My theory was in simple way that they are all just lost in somewhere entered to genie weird world or magical city when they passed forest or street near forest... like our local people belief when you enter or pass to forest or strange quiet place it maybe the place of other creature place or kingdom, many places in every region in our country have magical city... no matter how you find the way you will be at the same place.. in this movie it marked or have signed from the raven n broken big tree that block your way ..then they find monsters (wearing custom or wardrobe like police, nurse, kind a casual man or woman) , weird things, symbol that covered that area, ... and some life style and things has the similiarity like human being such as house, food..and how to get out from that place is the light house thats the way out coz tabitha was found by 3 people that was hiking.. she realized that she was in the hospital..so that why the film was given the tiltle "from" means that all people from the real human being place who lost or enter strange weird place..😮
I know this is late, but i noticed that most people arriving to the town were either celebrating something or on vacation which is a weird connection. I have no clue what it means, but it could be similar to your theory about the whole prom stuff and going to a party.
I think we're looking at some VERY alien attempts at communicating- particularly the Ballerina. It doesn't speak, but is pantomiming how to kill the monster with the worms. Or at least how to do whatever is happening to Smiley. The other four monsters were certainly surprised by Smiley falling down like that. The female monster even swivels her head from one standing monster to another, like she's talking telepathically. We know the monsters communicate telepathically like the Boy In White. We know this because the monsters only speak verbally one at a time- never over each other like people do. Also, the Jasmine Monster opened the window for the other monsters and they converge on Colony House without her needing to call them.
I don't think it can be a time travel or time loop thing because when Cristys fience said it had been 6 months since she disappeared and that's how long she's been there
In the second episode, the klepto girl is scoping out Jade's watch while Ellis gets him strapped onto the bed. He tells her to leave it and she says something about time not working right there anyway. It's worth noting that, despite having electricity, all the clocks have far different times- even one scene right after the next. Everyone seems to be using the sun to gauge when sundown will be- not watches.
SPOILER ALERT (Don't read if you haven't watched till the latest episode!): Is Victor's sister one of the children in white? Victor said his mom and sis most likely went to the lighthouse to free the children in white.... so I'm guessing no one's really waiting at the top of lighthouse, if anything that place is a prison. Raises more eyebrows as to whose voice it was that talked to Jim.
The probleme with the white tower is we don't know anything about as well as the children like who are they where did they come from and why there are only 7 Also the white tower could be the way to lead out of the loop of the forest Also now that i think about it Why is there this tower in middle of forest and no lake or sea around it
