We are leaving for this same trip on this 19th of April, wanted to know is it a good time or should we wait till October ? We don’t want snow we just want to enjoy the scene and high altitude
Yes April is a good option. We also went on April, you won't get snow. But April was too cloudy. Compared to April, October is better cz you won't get that much cloud. But as in hilly areas, weather is unpredictable and nowadays due to global warming, there are vast changes. So the rest is luck.
Hello, Thank you for the well made video which gives all the information for the trek. I am Prakash in Bangalore. I wish to do Sandakphu-Phalut trek in April 2025. I will also be doing Hilley Varsey trek if possible and visit North Sikkim. As I would be going alone, whether I can join a group so that guide charges can be shared. Food and stay can be paid individually. If I start from Tumling I will stay at Kalipokhri, Sandakphu, Sabargram, Phalut, Gorkhey and Srikhola/Rimbik. How many days guide fee and park permit gees will have to be paid ? Also is there any camera fees for DSLR camera and how much are the charges? Please let me know. Thanking you again.
Hi🙋♀️Thanks for your kind support🙏 You need to pay 6days guide charges and permit for 5days. And when we went for the trek, there was no such charges for DSLR camera. We clicked pictures with DSLR too. But now we don't know whether they are charging or not. But at our time, there was no such charges. And for queries regarding solo trekking or searching for group, the whole details is already discussed in this video, please check✨️
A few things I would like to know... 1) The guide charge you mentioned, is it Rs1200 per day per person? Like do we have to pay individually 1200 each for every day irrespective of the number of people in our group. 2) Is solo trekking possible in Sandakphu?
The guide charge is Rs1200/- per day not per person(as explained in details in this video) If you are going in a group then this 1200 will be divided within the group members and if you are going for solo trekking then yes sandakphu trek is an ideal trek for solo trekking. But in that condition you need to pay 1200 by your own. Or else you can go solo then if you want you can join with other groups.
And one more thing, detailed information about solo trekking is provided in the last part of the video. Hope that helps😊 for further query you can comment. Thank you.
If you are going for trek then you just need to pay guide charge that is 1200/- per day per person that is already mentioned in the video. Other than that no need to pay extra for food or so. For more details you can contact with the guide. So he can explain you the whole thing, as per your plan whether you want to go for trekking or for other purpose. Guide number is already shared in the video.
As this is a national park, for safety purpose or so sab jagapar ap camping nahi kar sakte ho. Par kuch kuch jaga pe camping ho sakta h lekin uske liye apko guide se baat karna hoga👍
