Very very nice this video was so helpful for me cause I'm thinking about my 5 story building to built and I was really needed the estimated cast thank you sir
Hi, I am wanting to make my own new concrete hearth topper for my fireplace. It needs to be 20" wide and 90" long, but no more than 1" thick - thinner would be better. My concern is that the current one is 2" thick stone in 2 slabs to span the 90" length. I don't want my new one to be too fragile to handle wood getting dropped on it, etc. How long can my new, thinner sections be if I can't do one 90" slab at 1" thick? Or does it even matter how thick it is if there are rebar rods in it? I'm not an engineer. Just a DIY'er. Thanks for your help.
hello sami sir ...u r making very knowledgeable vedio.... sir i have question how can i find the quantity of cement sand aggregate in concrete road and area...plz making a vedio on concrete road making .....
sami ji , how to know the quantity of sand which is in CFT . my question is we bring sand in tractors then how to take exact sand in CFT , because workers or mason does in according to experience. please explain
Dear Sir Engrs... May i ask about your expert opinions?... I am about to construct the second floor flooring of my two-storey house and it measures15 meters (Length) and 12 meters (Width) and planning to have thickness of 4 inches my engineer told me that the mix ratio will be 1:2:3. by the way one bag of cement here in the Philippines weighs 40 kgs. I'm weighing over hiring a mixer with pumpcrete or hire some to do it manually for me. here are my questions: 1. how many cubic meters of mix concrete is needed to fill it up? 2. how many bags of cement do i need? 3. how many cubic meters of sand required? 4. how many cubic meters of gravel required? 5. what kind of rebars to use and its spacing? thank you guys for your professional help :)
First, you know the area, 2nd you multiply the area by the depth or thickness 3rdly, you got the total volume in cubic metres Next, you obtain the weight for cement, sand and coarse aggregate or chipping by using ration 0.5:1:2:4 (BS8110). Where 0.5 is ratio of water, 1 is ratio of cement 2 is ratio of sand and 4 is ratio of coarse aggregates or chippings See More from @t
Sami on one of your other videos on columns you use M20; 1 1.5 3 C S A On this video for the slab you are using M15; 1 2 4 C S A My question is if you have a slab made with M15 concrete mix and columns formed with M20, with the columns formed with a stronger mix than the slab, would the slab crack? Would it be better if making a columns with M20 that the slab should also made with the same mix (M20)?
we should multiply the density of cement (1440) to get quantity of cement in kg. then we need to divide it by(50) as a cement bag contains 50kg in it .... this method is correct or wrong sir
Wow! thank you for reply sir :) Ohh i thought why so sudden 6 inch = 0.5 inch hahaha . Ok thanks again sir Greetings from Malaysia . Like ur videos, Assalamualaikum
1. sir how to calculate the water required for this work ( 9''brick work ,4.5"brick work, ceiling plaster ,inner and outer plaster ). 2.re bar column videos upload

Tremendous work...... we all watchers comprehensively appreciate your work. Thanks 谢谢你的帮助,你做这样教我们非常好,
Thank you for ur valuable video...from 🇱🇰
sir kya reforcement ka bhi to kuch volume hoga .......to use consider nhi karenge
thanks for the video really helpful.. but why are we not considering the 25% concrete shrinkage as well as the 5% waste of the material?
Thanks for the lecture , it is a wonderful lecture and very helpful
How appreciating, helpful and informative your video is! Many thanks
Very beneficial ......thank u so much
thank you sami sir this video is very easy method of slab materials calculate

Excelant explaination
Sir zama da question da ch da sand zamung sa 43.12cft ragho dade sa matlab de dagha 43 bags sand ragho ka 43 gaade raghe reply must
love u sir such a mazing lecture
i like the work
thanks sir Your video is very useful again thx boss
Hallo Sir, is this cement and sand calculation voleom dry from or normal voleom?
Very good idea sir ji
Thank you sir ,it was very useful
thnks bro i was searching from long time this lesson
Thanks for the explanation
It's easy understanding nature
But how to find the total slab Quantity
How about the volume of bars did you considered it on your calculation or it is negligible?
it is not negligible hence this is an estimate and not approximate calculation of concrete cement content
EXCELLENT BHAI
Awesome bro...😍
This is you have shown for 1000sft quantity and the same we have to calculate for big area ?
r/f area reduce nai hoga?
Can we use m20 grade of concrete for roof concrete
Can u tell is beam considered or not while finding volume of concrete?? I hope u vl rply....
hello sami sir ...u r making very knowledgeable vedio....
sir i have question how can i find the quantity of cement sand aggregate in concrete road and area...plz making a vedio on concrete road making .....
Sir, it's great...thank you so much..
Thank you very much for the brief explanation.
Thanks sir your video helpful
thank you SAMI your explination very useful
welcome
Sir wet volume should be more and dry shouldbe lessthat is it opposite here
Is 1.54 a constant for English system only? or could it also be applied in SI units?
Good concept
Superb sir thanks...
Brother may i know whats the unit of 1.25 you showed for the volume of cement
That must be ft^3
sami ji , how to know the quantity of sand which is in CFT . my question is we bring sand in tractors then how to take exact sand in CFT , because workers or mason does in according to experience. please explain
Good job
Reinforcement nhi ayegi sir kya isme
sir.. i have one doubt...m20 is fixed for slabs
Nice teaching
This is very helpful sir. Thank you!
Thanks for making this vedio
Thanku so much for video
where did u get the1.54
Ye jo sand ka volume aya es ke sath cft ka kia mtlb hain koye bataye??????
Sir hope much cubic foot sand or dust , is in one truck , hope can we order out purchade sand
how did you come up with that 1.25 cu ft value of the 50kg bag of cement? 1kg of mass = 0.015cu ft..

Convert to cement bags how u take 1.25 , is that standard or not
dear sami plz give a detail lecture on material suitability and ASShto test
Which concrete ratio is this
nice video
hi sir please tell me how calculate shutring work in slab...
awesome sir
Sami on one of your other videos on columns you use M20;
1 1.5 3
C S A
On this video for the slab you are using M15;
1 2 4
C S A
My question is if you have a slab made with M15 concrete mix and columns formed with M20, with the columns formed with a stronger mix than the slab, would the slab crack?
Would it be better if making a columns with M20 that the slab should also made with the same mix (M20)?
YES IF COLUMN IS M20 THE SLAB ALSO SHLD NOT BE LESS THAN M20
Sir I am not understanding last two steps ,how many kg required for sand and course aggregate
what do you mean by CFT?
in dry volume 1.54 which units sir
1.54 ye kaha se aayaa sir ji
Where did you get the 1.54? Constant number of what?
thank you for this video ti helps a lot
Sir,
What is 1.25 in cement?
how many bags are required and explain it
TRY TO CHECH THE VOLUME OF 50KG CEMENT IN TO CFT, I BET IT IS NOT 1.25CFT IT IS 1.225CFT IF I AM CORRECT.
Yes boss
Very nice
Sir ji Nice
If we want quantity in cubic meter ???
sir we have to substrate the area of steel from total slab
why it not done sir?
we should multiply the density of cement (1440) to get quantity of cement in kg. then we need to divide it by(50) as a cement bag contains 50kg in it .... this method is correct or wrong sir
sir tell the answer
Answer please
That's correct if you convert first the volume into m^3
Thanking you sir, above video continue in kgs of materials like F.A&C.A aggregate.plz reply me sir...
Just multiplied by 28.32
I cft = 28.32 kg
nice video keep it up sir...
I need video based on bar bending sedul (BBS) I
welcome
Sir convert to cement bag mein 1.25 kya hai
super sir
thank you sir.
but some lecture about the drawing. like a bridge and house & gas pipe line or like that.
abid khan from Kuwait.
what is mining of cft
excuse me sir , may i know how do u get volume of bag (1.25) ? Hope u replied sir , thank you.
and one more how come the depth thickness of slab 6'' became 0.5'' ?
Bro 1 cement Bag = 50 kg and 50kg cement volume is 1.25cft there for may be u will become understand
6inch = 0.5ft because we have 12 inch in one feet ok bro
Wow! thank you for reply sir :) Ohh i thought why so sudden 6 inch = 0.5 inch hahaha . Ok thanks again sir
Greetings from Malaysia . Like ur videos, Assalamualaikum
