Other viewers may already know this but for those who don't, the French royal scandal involving the purses gifted by Isabella, along with other events of this period - like the suppression of the Templars - is covered in the historically-based novels of Maurice Druon known as the 'Accursed Kings' series. If you like this kind of book, then they are well worth a read and have also been cited by George RR Martin as one of the main influences on his 'Song of Ice and Fire' books.
Thank you for another enjoyable video.
