Question for the Doctor: have you ever been invited to speak at health fairs or at churches? I think this would be a great opportunity, as your schedule permits, to speak directly to the public on the importance of caring for the feet. Or, you can tape a full seminar DVD to share with the public discussing: -what signs of foot problems to look for -diabetic foot care -how to care for the feet at home -when one should see the podiatrist. I have learned so much just from these video clips. Thank you SO much for the care you are giving to our patients, and the information shared!
Thank you for your caring treatment of your patients. You know your patients and their needs or preferences. It would have been easier to use the drill but he didn't like it and you knew that. I always enjoy your vids. It makes me feel good when I see someone with a great need and you make it much better. You're just the best! 🌹🌹
DR Jefferson, I am so appreciative of your channel, the volunteer aspect of your work reminds me of the population that I served during my years as a case manager for a small hospice organization in central Alaska in the 1990's working with many homeless and sheltered patients and families. ❤
Ummm.... talk about heaven on earth! I am obsessed with all of the good calluses that were in this video! You did a great job! Can’t wait for another charming callous video!
When ever you say "There we go," I know that something good is happening next. That you are happy with the results and that now the patient will feel better. I like it when that happens very much!
Just wanted to say thank you. Watching your videos has helped me so much. My caregiver now uses Shea butter on my feet and I have been using it on my arms for eczema. It is really good.
What a difference Dr K. You really have a great manner with your patients. That poor man will ultimately feel so much better. I love your channel so much.
I'm 81 yrs old and thankfully i am able to care for my feet myself But i feel so bad for the Seniors who are not able to do that. The DC Doc makes the older people feel comfortable and not embarassed by thier feet. Thanks Doc.
I appreciate how much you care for your patients, even accommodating what they like and don’t like. I’ve never seen that file before, but it definitely worked great. Thank you for sharing this, looking forward to your next video 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 it looks like he may need a cream for his feet
I’m sweating watching you work extra hard because he doesn’t like the drill . And he’s impatient too 😂😂😂😂 now that your fingers are going to be cramping up . You’re awesome 👏🏾 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I love the fact you aren’t afraid to use nippers to get some of the build up off. I see a lot of podiatrists try to cut through that rock hard layer and slip and get so close to cutting people so often. And it is all avoidable by just nipping the top layer off.
I’ve learned so much about diabetes and foot issues. My father has diabetes and he probably won’t let me touch his feet but I can share your channel. Thank you for the great content
I really appreciate the care you take with your patients. Many are terrified to have their feet messed with you take such care. If I lived xcloser I'd come to you.
Great vlog Dr. Jefferson. Lawd, I wish you could work on my feet, and they are nowhere near this, but it just looks so relaxing. You do a wonderful job. Have a good week. Next vlog please.
Love your show❤ Now that I'm middle aged I've noticed more hard skin around my toes/cuticle area. I always take care of my feet and switched to Shea butter from Vaseline thanks to you😀- do you recommend a device I could use to remove it?
Y'all have to understand....what we think should be done, what the doctor knows should be done, and what the patient wants and can tolerate are different things. That man's feet got that way over time. It's going to take time. Sometimes health care professionals have do do what they can within the patients allowance. That patient can't see past right now. His mind isn't on how he got that way. His mind is not on maintenance or preventive measures. His mind is on do something now and make it quick. He is not use to anyone touching his feet. Sometimes light touches or vibrations can hurt more than hard pressure. I have an able bodied friend that still works and gets around. I wanted to chop off his feet this past weekend. I told him he didn't deserve feet from the way they were looking. He went in the hospital for hip surgery. Everything went well. But like I told you.... I felt the urge to just cut off his feet myself. He is in the hospital with fungus for days, black toes, diabetic ulcers, and gawd knows what else. I was pissed!!!! I use to keep up his feet several years ago. Now they look more throwed off than I've ever seen. He didn't want me to show the nursing staff. Man....I will punch you in your eye ...I'm telling!!!! So...I told!!!! Diabetics can't be trusted y'all. Don't trust them. Look at their feet and toes. Diabetics are good at hiding stuff. Don't let them fool you!!!!! This one caught me slipping. Pssst...don't punch a diabetic in the eye. They don't heal well... Plus it's mean! Even though they deserve it for not talking care of themselves....don't sock em in the eye!!!!
That’s exactly what it is. Lots of folk don’t quite get the amount of work that can be done at one sitting. In lots of cases it can take a lot longer to treat someone depending on their tolerance. You’ve summed up perfectly about hiding things. So many just wont tell anyone there’s an issue. Sadly sometimes by the time that some admit to problems the outcome can be catastrophic
The calluses look like they are joined with an ingrown. Either way the pain. I think it’s your first patient to be honest and say they hurt. Respect for the man and hope for healing.
In the beginning the Dr said he usually use a Drill to smooth it. He couldn’t with this patient because he’s super sensitive and ticklish under his feet.
Kudos to you for understanding what he was saying. I tried so hard to understand but it was hard. Sounds like he doesn’t have any teeth in his mouth. Also, I just wanted to take a curette and get all that fungi from under those nails lol.
Yes!! Also it looked like he had corns that needed dug out but it seemed like the patient was wanting him to hurry and get the whole thing over with. Its too bad because if he had just let the Dr de-nucleate the corns his feet would feel so much better!!
Watching Dr.Jefferson clean this patient feet but it would have been better if the patient could have tolerated the drill to smooth the nails it just makes the overall look so.much better !! Great job Dr you have a good tolerance Level So professional!!
Hi Dr. J 🤓...another excellent video with great closeups! Those were some tough calluses 😲! Would love to see more nipper action on those great big toes and digging out all that glorious gunk in there 👍🏻🦶🏻✌️
Deve haver um medicamento pra ajudar a diminuir a calosidade, além do calçado e um hidratante. Bom trabalho. Parabéns! !! Além de eficiente tem o dom de ajudar quem precisa de seus conhecimentos.
"... feels terrible? Tell me a little bit more about that." I just love how you encourage your patients to open up. You are so caring.

The problem isn't their feet. It's their diet and weight.
Marsena oh yes, that would be the best.

I think you went above and beyond your call of duty there doc. Thank you for your care.
Thank you 🙏 for looking after this gentleman so well .".....You are so good and gentle 😔🙏😇❤️
I swear I love this channel
That was a thoughtful decision you made in not using the drill & adjusting your techniques to fit the needs of your patient.
Your a very caring compassionate DR with your patients, it's a pleasure to watch you work on their feet
I just love and adore your bedside manner and how you care about your patients. Love watching your videos.
You are so good with your patients, because I couldn't understand a word he was saying
Bless his heart he had so many callouses no wonder his feet hurt, I’m sure you helped them feel much better.
Dr. Jefferson is so kind and understanding with his patients especially the elderly population . DC is lucky to have him!!!
Thank you for your caring treatment of your patients. You know your patients and their needs or preferences. It would have been easier to use the drill but he didn't like it and you knew that. As an avid people watcher, these videos give me a great insight of the culture in your part of the world.

He had a lots, i know he feels better 😌
Just wanted to say thank you. Watching your videos has helped me so much. My caregiver now uses Shea butter on my feet and I have been using it on my arms for eczema. It is really good.

You are so kind and patient with him. I can't imagine the discomfort he has been walking on.

What kind of file was that? I’ve never seen an angled file like that before! Great video as always! 💜💜💜
The drill works so much better. I have my own at home and I love it.
True, but the patient did not like it, so he had to use a manual one.
This poor guy...I don't know how he was able to even walk to the appointment. The Doctor showed great skill in removing a variety of callus's.
Wonderful care that you give to your patients. I hope you are able to rest your hands after a long work day.

The Callus King!!!
When you hear the dead skin chunks hitting the trash can.
yes... man sounds good. wish they were my feet
Watching the callus' is like watching soap asmr.
Doc you are the best🙌🏼🙏🏻❤️
I literally hollered at the video, “ LET HIM USE THE DRILL!!!!”.
I wonder if he had a nerve condition. I don’t need it but I know a dremel would send me to the he moon in pain.
In the beginning the Dr said he usually use a Drill to smooth it. He couldn’t with this patient because he’s super sensitive and ticklish under his feet.
A very thorough job. Thank you.
Gostei do jeito como ele trata os clientes tanto tecnicamente quanto como dom de tratar todos esses grandes problemas. Parabéns! !!!
"Don't like the drill? Can I use this orbital sander instead?" said no doctor ever.
Why don't you use an orbital sander on your toes first and let us know how that goes?
Is their ever a easy one. Thanks
Kudos to you for understanding what he was saying. I tried so hard to understand but it was hard. Sounds like he doesn’t have any teeth in his mouth. Also, I just wanted to take a curette and get all that fungi from under those nails lol.
He sounds like a person who drinks alot. That is the way they sound, drunk. Even when they are not.
Yes!! Also it looked like he had corns that needed dug out but it seemed like the patient was wanting him to hurry and get the whole thing over with. Its too bad because if he had just let the Dr de-nucleate the corns his feet would feel so much better!!
Un Doctor super profesional!
They were in pretty bad shape. Great job cleaning them up.
Watching Dr.Jefferson clean this patient feet but it would have been better if the patient could have tolerated the drill to smooth the nails it just makes the overall look so.much better !! Great job Dr you have a good tolerance Level So professional!!
Wow those feet were really challenging, to bad he wouldn't allow you to use the drill file.
Such kindness God bless
Hi Dr. J 🤓...another excellent video with great closeups! Those were some tough calluses 😲! Would love to see more nipper action on those great big toes and digging out all that glorious gunk in there 👍🏻🦶🏻✌️

Poor guy. I hope his feet feel much better.
What a kind dr! Does this man need bigger shoes? My heart breaks for those sore feet!
Excellent. What more can we ask of a Dr?
