His reviews can be very brutal and a bit harsh, so to see him really into this interview is a side of Travers I've never seen. And that lets you know that Hiddleston and the Avengers cast and crew did a FANTASTIC and EPIC job.
This man is so beautiful and charismatic. He also has the most magical voice-whether speaking or singing. Wow. And-he's well educated, articulate and intelligent. He's just perfection.

I loved Tom's description of the bomber pilots. My grandfather was the captain of a B-17 Bomber named The Honeypie. He lead his crew safely through over 30 successful missions. Whenever they got into a bit of trouble, his crew would say, "We'll get through this, the Captain's at the wheel." I wish I could have met him, but a heart attack took him away. NEVER smoke, kids. Anyway, I greatly enjoyed Tom's description.

I've watched enough videos of interviews with Tom Hiddleston to notice the fidgeting thing it seems like he always does, and I'm beginning to wonder if it's like a nervous tic type thing. If it's something he does because he's not necessarily that comfortable with interviews? It does definitely seem to happen more often when it's interviews where he's by himself instead of being interviewed with a group or another person. It's just something I'm mildly curious about, since I know from what I learned in my psychology class in high school people tend to fidget because they're nervous or uncomfortable for one reason or another. In my case personally I've realized I tend to fidget and move around quite a bit either because I've become bored in the situation or because I'm beginning to internally have a bit of a freak out and become anxious about something stupid popping out of my mouth before my brain can stop it since sometimes the mouth runs a bit faster than the brain does on whatever the conversation is about. I have a brain that tends to go about a hundred different directions at once, and not always is the train of thought that I'm mentally focusing on the same one as the one the conversation is about and weird/stupid/severely off topic things occasionally get said before my brain clicks back to realizing what I just said while I had the convo basically on autopilot, it gets kinda embarrassing sometimes especially if I'm talking to someone to whom I wish to seem as intelligent as I usually am when my social awkwardness doesn't get in the way. lol (It was only a semester class, so half a year, but I did read practically the whole book because I found it interesting which then made me start paying more attention to how people behave - what they say and their body language, instead of only their words)
With every interview I watch he gives me another reason to love him and his talent even more. He's so intelligent and charming. And I love Daniel Day-Lewis, too. But Method Acting would not be my way of working a character out. Thanks for pointing that out, Tom! I think I'm going to write a stage play for him :D ....
It was actually "Thor" director Kenneth Branagh who offered the role of Loki to Tom. He had worked with Tom as an actor, so he must've seen some quality in him that suited him to the character. The rest is history. :)
