Disney Extreme Skate Adventure has been a favourite of my collection for a long while. Now I'm going to have to track down a copy of 2X as I have fond memories of 1 & 2 on the PSX, and had no idea the Xbox had them as a compilation. Thanks for the review
Tony Hawk's Underground is my favorite in the series, the first one to have a story and a good story on top of all the great gameplay. With a very solid character creator.
Well 3 is great because it changed the whole franchise with the addition of reverts. I think I like 2x better because those are the levels I still love to replay to this day, but 3 is a great pick for favorite as well and its a favorite for a lot of people.
It might be just me, but Tony Hawk's games have this light, comedic and early 00's street vibe to them that was lost when the 7th generation came about. For instance, TH Project 8 for the PSP and PS2 have this same vibe and is possibly the most colorful of all the TH entries, while the PS3 version is probably using Unreal Engine, so it gets that darker and moody atmosphere that doesn't fit the TH games. Realism and visual fidelity is great and many games basically require them, while others don't and lose their charm because of it. It's no different than preferring the original cartoon of a given series that was serialized or adapted to a film with real actors and the such, the transition is probably for the worse. On the other hand, it's astonishing the upgrades the 6th releases offer, those more used to the PS1 releases can really see the jump in quality, fenomenal draw distance and stable performance and much more complex models/scenery. Don't get me wrong, I still find the PS1 versions great in their own right, and they are quite the achievement for the 1994 hardware, but the point here is, the 6th gen releases of the 4 original TH titles benefit greatly from the much more powerful next gen hardware, while still keeping their essence intact.
I don’t care at all about this game, but I watch every Camp Xbox video no matter the title 😁 And, truth be told, sometimes a game might pick my interest.
I personally liked 2x better because I prefer a lot of those levels and the amount of content. THPS3 is still a great game though and I think I enjoy it more than 4. This may be further down the line but maybe I could to a video ranking the THPS releases as a whole if that sounds interesting.

Man, this game is fun me and my brothers played this tony hawk pro skater 3 is my top 3 best skate games ever.
