I met the chai wala guy in the beginning of video, he is so humble, sweet and hospitable. Actually 6 month back I travelled to Karachi by road from Islamabad and reached there at 4:30am. I was standing there at the bus stop and there were so many rikshaw and bike walas offering me a ride with discounted price (which is unusual). This chai wala guy watching me from his hotel and waved his hand at me ..asking me to come over. He said to me its too dark to travel at this time of the day and you are not a local so better have a cup of chai until HE will arrange a ride for me. Which I agreed and after the chai and brrakfast he arranged a ride for me with discounted fare.

No masala tea my friend no masala in the tea in Pakistan. That is just black tea he puts in.. It is a pakistanimmictyre of different teas from kenya, srilanka mainly. Masla tea is in India. Pakistani don't like masala in tea. Pure, hard, strong black tea in milk.

It's not that we like or don't like. Masala tea is not common in Pakistan and is mostly found in India. To me, it tastes like someone dropped some curry paste in my tea (I make my own smooth version with ground cashews, cardomon, hint of cinnmon powder and it is much better). In Pakistan, we mostly add green cardamon to enhance the flavour.

Chai is different from Tea, in the west they just add cold milk to tea and it's just makes the tea watery and flat. But chai they boil the milk so much the tea is creamey, thick and so hot. Sometimes adding different spices takes it to another level. When I make chai I don't need to add any sugar because of health reasons but the thick milk makes it naturally sweet.

lol like seriously you saying that only islam means hospitality? dude good and bad is everywhere, hospitality has got nothing to do with any religion, race, nation, cast or creed. i have seen super hospitable people in peshawar but on the other hand i have seen tourists complaining about rude and unwelcoming people from lahore and karachi etc. now that doesnt mean every guy in peshawar will welcome you with roses and smile and i definitely dont mean that u will see all people from lahore and karachi being rude or unwelcoming. it just depends from person to person.
