God’s mercy chased me out of a church like this after 2 years. Sadly, I’m unlearning a lot that I was taught, namely prosperity and deliverance ideologies. I’m a Christian and go to church, I grew up in a church where they had spiritual parents but now I’m in a church as I’m older and we don’t believe in spiritual parents because our leaders have said they want to lead us to God and not to a person/themselves. It was my first time hearing about this and it totally makes sense!

This really is showing how Kathryn has taken advantage of a real short coming of the church today. As a rule, churches aren’t welcoming to those who don’t fit a specific mold of what a Christian should look like. So many people out there are feeling like outsiders to today’ church. It took me over 30 years to find a local church that was welcoming and loving towards me. I have volunteered and tried to change their minds over the years. I have worked in a denominational main office. I was an outsider the whole time. With receiving love at my current church, it has helped deal with trauma response due to severe abuse, health issues and in making actual friends. I have run into quite of other people who it took them 30 years to find a church home too. There is a real problem with that dynamic going on.

I’m a Christian and go to church, I grew up in a church where they had spiritual parents but now I’m in a church as I’m older and we don’t believe in spiritual parents because our leaders have said they want to lead us to God and not to a person/themselves. It was my first time hearing about this and it totally makes sense!
They literally use the same lingo that is used in the Bible to describe Jesus. Aint no way !

This really is showing how Kathryn has taken advantage of a real short coming of the church today. As a rule, churches aren’t welcoming to those who don’t fit a specific mold of what a Christian should look like. So many people out there are feeling like outsiders to today’ church. It took me over 30 years to find a local church that was welcoming and loving towards me. I have volunteered and tried to change their minds over the years. I have worked in a denominational main office. I was an outsider the whole time. With receiving love at my current church, it has helped deal with trauma response due to severe abuse, health issues and in making actual friends. I have run into quite of other people who it took them 30 years to find a church home too. There is a real problem with that dynamic going on.
