Main products: sealing gasket, gland packing,PTFE/graphite/asbestos products, ceramic fiber products, high temperature heat insulation and fireproof material.
What about the pipe wall thickness ? If the pipe thickness is calculated by the given design pressure and temp condition does it mean the flange could sustain from the higher pressure and temperature condition than the pipe itself (flange designed stronger than the pipe) ?
Flange rating = f (pressure and temperature). daily need for residential ( clean water and others) flange rating 150 already enough but if the temperature of fluid isde more than 200 C shall be applied rating 300 .
in the above Video, Flange Rating should be 150# instead of 300# since the required pressure is 13.8 bar which is very near to 10.2bar. please clarify.
Always select over your value at the table never less than your value, therefore you cannot chose 10.2 bar at the table because your value is 13.8 bar and you go to the next value which is 39.8 bar.
thank you for sharring, nice to see your channel
Very valuable information thanks sir😊
Good information
Thanks
Thank u sir ,very helpfull
sr plz tell same in pipe also in CS or in ss pipes also with temp and presure selection of pipe?
how to determine a valve type/size for the piping? Please explain. BTW this video was highly informative

Then for calculating pipe wall thickness, should we consider the same parameters?? My mean 13.8bar and 270degc Or this should be different??
Thank's

Thnks for sharing.
Thanks
is it normal to select in this example flanges class 300, the design pressure is 13,8bar?
awesome
To use working (normal operating condition) pressure&temperature or design pressure&temperature?
how did you know that A106 gr b is same as A105 in the table?
What about gasket and flange face / type of weld
Please send the link of the above tables

Why is it pipe material A 106 Gr B but you select as it is A 105 material in the table?
A 106 Gr B on the pipe corresponds to A 105 on the flange and ASME B16.5 is for flanges.
