You know, one thing I always thought was cool was when Boruto and Naruto had similarities between them, with Boruto’s being designed to be call backs to the older series. It’s a part of the reason why I love Dragon Ball GT. I know some dislike that show for what seems like an endless list of reasons, but one reason I loved that series was because it called back to the other series, such as original Dragon Ball, and Dragon Ball Z. Honestly, the Boruto series, particularly the anime, has received a sort of similar reception, but all the same, I still enjoy it, particularly because it is fun, has call backs, etcetera etcetera. One of my favorite call backs is the whole “Demon inside of me” trope that has seemingly become a lot more common in anime today. Within Naruto was the Nine-Tails demon fox, the same tha his mother possessed. And as for Boruto, his own little curse mark is on the palm of his hand, and and is what has sealed within him not a Demon Fox, but an Otsutsuki. The latter is probably a worse situation, as Naruto never really had to worry about being taken over by Kurama unless he was overusing his power. But I digress. That leads me to the question I wanted to tackle today. What if Naruto got the Karma Seal instead of the Nine-Tails?

Every story you guys do gets better and better and the concepts get more and more complex with how it affects the world, really letting you guys do whatever you'd like with the universe, still following the rules of the world that we know.

Not even close like when the story went completely of the rails with minato surviving because the what if revolved around him the main character not just making a what if, even the Naruto has a curse mark video it literally couldn’t happen unless someone didn’t have understanding of the situation (why would momoshiki put a karma when he could just start his plans there)
I would like his fanfics if they didn’t give a F you I will make it go like this to what the story is trying to tell

Okay, so my big question here is. How would the Karma Seal interact with Naruto already being the reincarnation of Asura? Like, does Momoshiki become a good guy cause of that? Or does Naruto effectively die if Momoshiki completely takes over, allowing Asura's spirit to move on to another vessel?
Now hear me out momoshiki is dead and that means only ashura's spirit that is in him can influence him so naruto will just be stronger i guess but

I don't see how a tiny bit of Ashura would be able to fight off Momoshiki who is a Otsutsuki far greater than the sage of 6 paths or Kaguya.
Momoshiki would take over and the reincarnation seal would be stopped because Ashuras Reincarnation is now technically just momoshiki

Technically Naruto could have received it from Urushiki if certain events in the Boruto Time Travel Arc happened. Provided if Urushiki would be bothered to that is.
Naruto did have the 9 Tails at the time so that’s a bit weird if he could, he could’ve chosen Sasuke tho

Mastering shadow clone a jonin lvl jutsu in an hr or two , learning rasengan in a month is no joke especially for someone who is not a prodigy.
Also tbh rocklee would be better counterbalance to Naruto than Sasuke. That would give them typical Goku Vegeta type rivalry

Yea but he couldn't control both in the beginning. He would just be taken over by both halves of Kurama, because remember his parents both need to be alive for this to happen and if he had both halves of kurama it would end up like The Amagi's "what if naruto had both halves of kurama's story.
@@alexanderbonner1194 Look again they didn't say both halves of Kurama. Yes it is confusing because of the similarities of Kurama and Karma and they could have made it a little more clear with saying Karma seal. Their question was one of having both Kurama and Momoshiki.
Nah, Kurama or Momoshiki would likely boot the other. Remember Kurama booted Ma and Pa when they tried to fuse with Naruto, he wouldn’t have been happy with a room mate.

I'd like naruto to still progress with momoshiki's DNA. It could push him down a path where he hates himself for looking like the reason his father died and even have a whole identity crisis. It could also lead to him attaining more of momoshiki's power, give obito a good scare and fight kaguya in a one on one....if it comes down to that. great story idea regardless.
This was a great episode, I love the direction you took and how it blended together. I should say crafted this story really because it was lit.

So Naruto has a permanent Byakugan now, but what else does he have? If his body Turned back to how it was Pre-transformation does he still have all of Momoshiki's abilities? Food for thought
If Momo's soul is gone but the mark stayed, then Naruto would have a white mark like code. Naruto would be able to use the karma without risk of possession.

he has all of momoshikis powers but just is himself, pretty much a 1:1 scenario of what happened w/ kawaki

Sadly, if the stabbing was done earlier, they can trigger the completion the way it happens to Boruto and prevent the takeover when Naruto turn to full Otsusuki

Honestly, this probably would’ve worked better if Naruto just got Kaguya’s Karma seal. Have someone like Black Zetsu plant the Karma on Naruto, and have Minato end up winning and sealing the Ninetails back in Kushina In this timeline.

It’s more half and half, The success rate is 100 to 1000 times better but a successful and plantation doesn’t guarantee that a clone is viable since out of all the subjects only Anko and Sasuke were able to produce in a Orochimaru clone And only after huge amounts of his flesh was infused into the seal. It might work more often and it might Produce clones quickly relatively speaking but it’ll never activate on its own.
