    The bracelets are really lovely. I'm with you, my favorite is the four loop connector bracelet. I like the scroll work on it, but I also like the other two in combination with it. They match so well together. Thank you for the video and lesson. LOL! I remember how cold it was when I lived in Va Bch. Even in May, that cold wind would blow right through you, but VA is a beautiful State in spite of the cold winters. Thank you again! Take care and be safe! 😊💖🙏

      They can be challenging. Sometimes if the beads are large, they take up space. I always try and make designs that allow me to increase or decrease beads at each end prior to adding the clasp. But, even then, they can be challenging…no doubt about it. 🤔🌺🌸🌼

    Louisa those bracelets are beautiful . I’m going to make then I like your favorite too. The other two I’ll put on stretch could. Thanks for the great inspiration. I love watching your videos and waking in the parks is something I miss so much. My back won’t allow me to walk but about 5 minutes then sit. At least I’m not in a wheelchair that I predicted to be in 2003 within 5 yrs. I enjoy what I can do now and don’t dwell on what I can’t do anymore. Keep inspiring me with your beautiful work. I hope you and your family are all doing well! Be safe and stay warm in my home state. I don’t miss the snow and ice at all. I can see it on TV and that’s enough snow I want to see.

    Luisa, I too love the sculptural look of trees in winter. Each is like its own work of art, showing off, silhouetted against the blue winter sky. Each one majestic in its own way and not afraid to bare themselves, scars and all. I think that is beautiful.
    I've got a question about transferring a pattern of beads from rods to beading wire. Could you just first offload the righthand end from your rod to the wire, however many you can grab at once. Bead-stopper that beginning end closed at the right-hand end, then you could move more sections of beads after that, from the right-hand end of the rod, going onto the left hand end of the beading wire, rather than transferring them one at a time to preserve the design. Am I making sense? It would be easier to show than to write about it.
    Regardless, these are beautiful! Stand-alone or mix-and-match. I love the toggles, but I also love your idea of stringing them on stretch cord.
    As always, I love what you're doing. We definitely have the same design aesthetic. Keep up the good work! You are truly an inspiration.

    • @MistyMoonDesigns
      @MistyMoonDesigns  3 года назад

      Thank you for the lovely poetic description of the trees. I love the way you write! Have I told you that before? 🥰 I think I understand your recommendation about offloading from the rod. My biggest issue is my limitation on how many beads I can offload at once. For example, if the bead pattern consists of a sequence that needs to be kept together to maintain the integrity of the pattern but it’s too long for my little fingers to hold the sequence, then I have to break it up into 2 parts. It’s not difficult but if I have “part 1” and “part 2” that need to be threaded on in that order, I have to ensure that I load them correctly to ensure I maintain the pattern. You’re right…it’s difficult to write it versus actually showing what I’m trying to describe. 😂🙂🌺🌼🌸

    Hi, you make lovely jewelry, I am very new at beading I want to learn how to use wire but I don't understand when I hear soft, dead soft hard 🤔 Can you give me some advice on what type of wire to use. Also what type of wire that won't tarnish, in this tutorial the wire you are using will it tarnish? how would I know if the wire I use will tarnish or not.

    • @MistyMoonDesigns
      @MistyMoonDesigns  Год назад

      Thank you Margie. Here’s a little info on wire:
      Craft wire is typically made from copper or brass, although other metals can also be used. The wire is usually coated with a thin layer of colored enamel or other materials to give it a bright and colorful finish, and also to protect it from tarnishing. The package will usually say it’s non-tarnishing.
      It’s available in a wide range of gauges, which refers to the thickness of the wire. Thicker gauges are stronger and more durable, while thinner gauges are more flexible and easier to work with. I like using the thinner gauges for wire wrapping, and the thicker gauges for simple loops.
      Here’s a good article on wire hardness:
      www.thesprucecrafts.com/what-wire-for-what-2048450#:~:text=Wire%20comes%20in%20three%20different,hard%2C%20and%20full%2Dhard
