Very emotional song i vividly remember poirot said this " I have seen the fracture of the human soul. So many broken lives, so much pain and anger giving way to the poison of deep grief, until one crime became many. I have always wanted to believe that man is rational and civilized. My very existence depends upon this hope, upon order and method and the little grey cells... but now perhaps I am asked... to listen instead... to my heart"

This wonderful song has a story with it that I will never forget no matter how long I live. I had done something bad and I was going to prison. And the day I had to go to give my statement, this song was the last thing I heard for an hour before going, but what killed me more When I went to the police headquarters, my mom had entered my room and opened my computer, and this song was still on RUclips. She played it and kept listening while crying. Fortunately for me, the commissioner did not investigate me much and miraculously let me leave there and there I swore I would do it again. This song will remain in my memory and my mother’s heart. I love you Mom Jamila.

Just saw the movie today. It's... one of the best movies I have watched all my life. It gives a mix of emotions. Grief, revenge and sorrow. The music was an added bonus to make it such an amazing movie.

I've literally just watched the film, despite it coming out 6 years ago.
I've always loved the story.. read the book, seen the version with Peter Ustinov as Poirot and the TV version with the amazing David Suchet and now this brilliant version too.
Without knowing anything about the film or the music I knew it was Michelle Pfeiffer singing. A gorgeous vocal and a beautiful song.
    Kenneth Brannagh is a genius

I lost my father & both my brother and sister to cancer, one after the other. My mother is still alive, she is 82 & nursed them till their last days. I can't imagine her pain & & don't even want to go there, let alone how she is able to carry on day after day. This song is very special to me.

It is perplexing how some times the tiny and almost undetectable nuances in performing music would make all the difference between the exceptionally sublime and average.. The way she delivered the word HOME in the beginning of the song steeped me in the rest of it.. Soul stirring!!

The death of Daisy ruined the lives of about a dozen people, it's very tragic, this story revealed that justice doesn't always work for every scenario, they miss her, and they miss their loved ones, but obviously this song has to focus primarily on poor Daisy, such an emotional song, and impactful movie
