Man, what an awesome set of statues! Love that you incorporated them into your vid games room so you can see them all the time. Love the atmosphere it creates. Lobo's such a sick statue! I think Magneto on Throne is my fav. Such a freaking cool base to it. The Grey Hulk is also insane! The God of War statue is a close second behind Magneto for me. The paint and textures are so well done.

Finally had a chance to watch the room tour, all I have to say is: WOW. Awesome display set up, bro. And am with you about keeping statues and collectibles under glass. Cleaning them can be a stressful undertaking, and is when I think that most breakages can happen. It's best to set your collection up under glass and Windex the glass and not risk damaging your collection.

What an awesome set up. Like others have said, the stained wood display cases look sweeet . I remember seeing them and doing a bit of a wee when I was eyeing up your mignola hellboy :) too many pieces to mention but I love the Canage piece and the way it looks like he's in motion, transforming almost. I agree, the best thing about collecting, for me are not only the pieces, but reaching out to other collectors and researching their video's as a way to gain knowledge on superior displays. I'm in the process of finishing my Superman mancave and having a blast gearing up for it. Your collection is about perfect so it's hard to come up with ideas on how to display your collection so eventually, that will come from within yourself when you decide to move things around. Just an epic collection. Enjoyed this immensely!

Absolutely, bro. I hear that loud and clear 100%. My room isn't the biggest either. It's more long and narrow so getting the right setup and flow to the room is important. Fun as hell, though. Being collector's, our minds are always working to do it better, even if the setup is ideal and crisp. Good times man. Rock on!

Awesome tour man! Are those ikea detolfs, if so those big statues i'm guessing weigh around 6kg? Is that ok to put on the glass?
Yes mate they are and most are around 10kg plus but I use 6mm wire clamps that attach to the frame and I double up the glass to be extra safe! I have seen a vid of someone putting over 40kg on 1 pane of glass but the frame wields worry me more so hence the wire clamps! Cheers bro

Awesome!! I love how you and Alex do your own thing. You have some of the same pieces but both of you have your own style for sure. Your collection fits well together and is truly unique. the glass cubes and the weathered cubes are awesome. The other XM pieces your getting will go well with everything. Still think you need the Gladiator Hulk man...you have a grey and a red...you need the baddest green hulk out there,lol. Sweet video, glad you finally did it. I have no pieces behind glass so I wish I could find someone who could make some custom cubes for me.

There is a lot of hate being dished out at XM on that deadpool board on sideshowcollectors message boards. Just hilarious to read some of those comments

They are the reason edition sizes are so high, prices have doubled, shipping has tripled and the qc continues to be poor!! With them fighting sideshows corner saying everything is perfect, value for money and high standard, sideshow sit back and won't bother to fix anything!! I see it as we are The union and they are the jobsworth punks! I want pensions, holidays and better working hours (sideshow prices lowered, Es lowered and qc improved) and they say no your treated fairly (fuck you your getting jack shit!!) you must question who your fighting for here!! +Jeremy Laddin the detolf are held with 6mm wire clamps (off eBay) and yes I think that red skull is worth that if it's a sample! I don't rate the ex as I love the cane and the cube is quite poorly done! The mixed media is up there with the best ever made by sideshow for me!!

Awesome collection man! I have some of the same SS PF statues as well as the display cases from Ikea. How did you manage to display the PFs atop each other in single cases without them breaking?? I only displayed them at the bottom bc they seem too heavy to be atop one another.

Hi first of all your collection is amazing, just would like to ask what are you using as shelf holder on IKEA detol cases. Because size of the most scales do not fit in IKEA case, however you removed some shelves and use metal holders which fixed on metal bars. I would be grateful if you give detail where did you find them and what is that. Thank you so much.

Great video guys. How do you make sure that the Detolf shelves support your statues? Is that tempered glass and are you using some type of supporters?
Amphion yeah tempered glass and 6mm cable clamps.. they hold it real well. used on boats and can take 100s of lbs

Nice tour! I have a quick though. I see that you have multiple statues in your detolfs, adding 2 glass dividers is enough to hold 12-15lb statue without cracking? I assume it's enough because you're doing it, just want to make sure. I would hate to have a statue break because of it. And last what are the metal brackets you have on each detolf shelf?
Both I and Geo in the video have used this technique for the last 3 years with no issue.

great collection Geo! what lights are on your detolf?
I have some custom lights on the top that a powered ( picked them up from a lighting place in London) the White cased ones are remote controlled puc lights that are battery powered! Hope that helps

Impossible Pie well I have stopped buying direct from sideshow due to the crazy increase in prices (shipping is 3 times more now) the edition sizes are also too high meaning resale in the future is more difficult! last 3 pieces i got from them I could have bought cheaper on the aftermarket! as I live in England I must pay 20% tax on the total price so ss deadpool for example is 700 +130 shipping +160 tax = 990 dollars!!!
