Hey James! Great video but I had one question, I found the track I am going to next week NCBike but the direction is backwards. Basically they run opposite now, but I didn't see any options to switch that on the track in the program. There also aren't any other versions of the track in the software. I was just curious if you ran into that problem or if it works fine even if you are running "backwards". I looked through the documentation, but couldn't find anything. Thanks!
I'm sorry for the late response, I'm guessing you've already been to the track. Yes, it should work fine backwards as long as Start/Finish is in the same place. Did you find this was the case? Many thanks.
Hi James, I have an AIM MXS strada 1.2 and when ever I get to a track it says no tracks found? I have tried updating firmware and deleting and reloading tracks, I know my GPS08 is working as I use it for speedo, Any help much appreciated.
I have found the following works sometimes. Update RS3 to the very latest. Connect your device and delete all tracks on the device in the track manager. Build yourself a smaller set of tracks you use (I use only about 5 in a season), try uploading those directly to the device. Once done, give that a try! Apart from this, perhaps give AiM a call. Thanks and hope it works.
So I click the track icon and it said it downloaded all the tracks, but then when I go to see them, I see all of the countries and the number of tracks next to it, but when I click on the country it says the track list is empty
Hi Hugo. That does seem odd. Are you using the latest version of RS3? If not, try downloading again and if that doesn't work, give AiM a shout via the feedback button. Wish I could help more but I have to say, I've not heard this one yet. Out of interest, what device are you using?
Hello Mr. how can i download tracks to race studio 3 ? I have a new aim solo 2 device and there are some 500 tracks there, but in race studio 3 it wasn't. I moved from aim solo to the app but it's not up to date.
Hi! If you click on the map icon at the top of Race Studio 3, you can download all of the maps from AiM database. Then you can choose which ones you want on your AiM Solo. Hope this helps!
@@JamesColborn thank you Sir. In the beta, I noticed more tracks to download and more options. I am an amateur, so I am satisfied with the track and the time I achieve on it without much analysis. to update the device with rs3 or beta?
Hi James, once a session is associated with a track, is there any way to change it? My use case is that we run two close courses (say Track01 and Track02). The device stayed on Track01 the whole time, so now I need to change half of the sessions for a day to use Track02. It's not clear where/how to do so.
Thinking about this one, I'm not 100% sure but I think the answer is no. I think you'd have to select the track at the point of recording to make this happen. You can do this on the device by manually selecting the track layout before you start your session and then when you download your session, the track information will be there. Drop me an email via my website jamescolborn.com and I'll happily share with AiM to confirm this. Also, perhaps try the Facebook group (look up AiM users group) and you might get a quicker answer there too. Sorry I can't be of more help here.
