As to the McDuck conspiracy, I have theorized that he is about 40 years old, based on the pop culture refernces, and perhaps has gotten too busy with either work, family or both. Something tells me that he would still be monitoring the calls on RUclips, for entertainment, even if he is not able to actively contribute. McDuck is truly an enigma. Pray for the second (third, really) coming of our Savior!
