Enjoyed the video 📹..I had a 24lb pike out of that swim 5 years ago...just past half way across the lake there's a gully drops down into 13 -14ft... A good spot for future reference..I soon will be heading to that lake, might see you there..swims 1,2,and 3 also fish well by the car park as the pike push the shoals of silvers up there in the colder months...good luck..just subscribed, good stuff.🎣👍
Hi Lee glad you enjoyed the video. I fished swim 1 yesterday and will post a new video in the next week or so. Got a couple of low doubles yesterday. A few years back I caught 10 Pike in a day out of swim 1! 7 were doubles, quite a day. Great fishery. 👍 I have had 5 over 20lbs in that lake over the years.
@@SLSFishing ..I too have had 5 up to 27.10 lb..great place and well run...it has done a couple of 30's in the past...my brother had a 28.2lb 8 years ago now..look forward to the video..👍
Cool video! I enjoy a little pike fishing but dear lord your hauling a lot of gear 😂 I take just one bag few pre made rigs some coffee & I’m off! Must feel like doing a house move pulling all that gear around! Cool spot tho does look nice 👍
😆😁 you're right about the amount of gear! I like a little comfort if I am sat for long periods in the cold. Its like a home from home lol. When I fly fish I have minimal gear but as I am always moving and constantly casting that keeps me warm enough. 👍 Glad you enjoyed the video👍
Really very enjoyable watch, seems a great location, I also make my own snap tackle, always a extra buzz when you land big girl on one you made yourself.
Thanks Damian I am glad you enjoyed it and yes you're right about catching on gear you make up yourself. I am fishing asnI write this reply, 1/2 hour in and a 12.5lb Pike already. I caught it on a single circle hook rig, so so easy to unhook. I am using circles on two of my 3 rods today for the first time to see how they compare. If the hook up rate is favourable I will switch over to circles from now on I think. Video to follow so please hit the subscribe and bell icon to see it👍
Awesome video. I'll be doing some Pike fishing here in Colorado. I'll be sure to use that same setup. Thanks for posting!
