the difference between producer and loop is that in loop only an rc505 mk2 or mk1 is allowed and a midi controller (launchpad) to create assigns for the rc505. The producer category allows any device you want even daws like ableton live. that being said, it removes points the less voice usage as you can basically do one sound and make a whole round.

On loopstation they are have a beatbox, like making a sub bass, lip rolls, and something like that. On producer, 80%, they have ready loops and sounds I really hope, you understand me...
