Come join me as I return to Calvert Cliffs to hunt for fossils such as the Megalodon tooth! #explore #maryland #history #treasurehunting #fossil #sharkteeth #megalodon
I have no idea why this showed up on my feed, but I live about 20 minutes away from Calvert Cliffs and I absolutely loved this video. You just got yourself a subscriber.
The piece with the hole in it looks like a native pendant. It might be a very worn tooth. You should send pictures to your local experts and see what they think. Nice find!
"CALVERT BEACH, Md. -- A 9-year-old aspiring paleontologist found the find of a lifetime: a massive 5-inch tooth from a prehistoric megalodon. Molly Sampson, a fourth grader from Prince Frederick, Maryland, made the astonishing find on Calvert Beach on Christmas morning 2022."
hey so i'm wanting to go here but on google when i type calvert cliffs up it says its closed because of erosion, how are you in there? is it not closed to the public? i want to go
Hi. There are not many public places to get into, but there are a few. Also, when you come in from the water, you can pretty much go anywhere up to the high tide line.

Hell yeah man! Get out there again!
I wonder if the bone with a hole in it wasn’t some kind of Native American jewelry or artifact
I wonder the same thing brother. It’s like perfectly centered and round too.
Nice finds!

Thanks a lot! It’s definitely my happy place.❤️
I went to YMCA camp Conoy next door, or south of the Nuke plant. Back in 66-70. One camper found a shark tooth that barely fit in his palm!!!!!!
I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THERE ARE COPPER HEADS THERE!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!
Thanks for the comment. That sounds like a great place for camp! I’ve gotten a few Megs but nothing that big….yet!
