OMG!!! I loved this game sooooooo much!!!! I was about 8-10 years old (somewhere along those lines) when i played this! I couldn't control my bike too well but i still loved this game soo much!!!!! Keep Thrashing baby!!!!
OUCHHHHH. crosslight FTW 5:22. mannnn i felt that through the screen, that by far has to be the hardest hit ive witnessed in road rash history.. take it easy on the animals LOL
Haha, thanks! After playing for a long period of time straight, your reflexes really attach to the game, lol. Shit like, becomes a sixth sense after an hour of playing.
Haha, that's one of the best parts of the game, xD. I remember being younger and just falling on purpose so I could jog around without my bike till a cop picked me up...haha xD
The good thing with my mother is that she kinda doesn't care what I do as long as I don't get in trouble. After seeing this, I may download the emulator and play it again. Ahh... fond memories. When I played it, I also liked the crowbar and the numchucks.
When I was Kid my friend had Sega and I had Nintendo NES, I was playing this game when I came to his house all the time ahahaha and then Playstation came and Road Rash Jailbreak cool too
This is just epic, I got my Mega Drive out again recently, and I did have this ... But I dont know where its gone :( going to buy it again! as it is one the best games ever AND THE MUSIC WAS EPIC!
Some people would think 11th place is bad, but really you have to fight your way all through the race. It's pretty nuts. Believe it or not my girlfriend finished Road Rash 3 for Sega
4:39 Fucking hell nice dodge dude! That's usally where I get creamed! I always loved the Post race/Busted/Wrecked-videos,they always made me laugh. Now I need to go DL this and Urban Strike and I'll be a happy man again!
Haha i agree, defiantly the best use of Midi in a game. I still always thought the crowbar was the best weapon. Plus it somehow seemed more brutal, as far as 16bit pixels can be brutal...
I remember playing this as a kid! I never won many races because I was too busy running around running into shit, and kicking the shit out of people. I remember I would grab a crowbar and try to knock the cop off his bike lol
I mean, Nina was modeled after former video game designer Nina Stanley, whose previous video game work was "Crystal Mines" for the NES (among others). But who does Natasha resemble?
@tecmo1 Totally agreed. Road Rash on a next gen system would be amazing. Sadly EA is too concerned about other shit so... doubt we will see anything of that nature -.-
Lol hell yeah! Back when games didn't have ratings and the worlds parents werent trying to ruin our fantisies of being Sport-bike street racers. To this day I still would love to burn down a highway at 160mph fighting with other riders.
Occasionally, some of the traffic will be a police car, which you can easily go around. There are also motorcycle cops who will try to keep up with you and knock you off your bike with a club, but usually they are too slow. And in later levels there are fuckin police helicopters that fly low to the ground ,and if you hit a hill, you smash into them and get instantly busted, which sucks cuz their almost impossible to avoid xD
You wanna play this game on your PC, just download WGens emulator applications and then the Road Rash 3 emulator from a rom site. I've got a few hundred old SNES and MegaDrive games on my PC like Jungle Strike, Sonic 2, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Zombies Ate My Neighbours... Good times.
Haha xD It would of been a pretty slick maneuver if I got around it but... just ended up as a 150mph hit to the face :3 And that animals should just learn to avoid me xD (and the flag girl...and the other rides... and their bikes...)
Oh sweet dear lord Lucky Luc... what's worse is his weapon is shit. Make my opponent slip and crash with a weapon with a limited amount? Give me metal upside the cranium anyday!
Look in the video description. Download the Emulator (second link) Download the ROM file (first link) Open the emulator, load the ROM file you just downloaded. And that's it. It will also be helpful if you go to options and configure your controls.
I remember this was the only road rash game I actually beat. RR1 was hard and only got to level 5, RR2 was a little easier but never got around to beating it, and RR3 was easy enough for me to actually beat the game (without cheating that is).
Haha, thanks. Yeah I was suprised how long I went without a fall. I actually got lucky with swirving in and otu of obsticals. Sucks that the only 2 times I fell was from turning too hard, and smashing into an invisble wall. :V
Yeah the graphics thing, allthough looked worse, was EA trying out the newest technology. RR1+2 used pre-rendered graphics which was pretty much every object was on the same layer (little hard to understand, but if you ever used photophop you know what I mean by layers). RR3 used a new graphics engine that was based on sprites. It looked a little worse (it was brand new) but better for performance. The background was the first layer, and every object was stacked ontop to give the game depth. :]
I remember this game knew when you where doing well and set you up right before the finish line so by the time you get on your bike you have 3 riders pass you and the cops show up...
I play this great game. Level 4, country Italy. Like you but with the sport bike DMG 1000. How difficult is this level! I wreck my bike lol! xD One of the best games of all time. I enjoyed my mega in his time, now with the emulator. A doubt, the game ends at level 5? Because when I had my mega I could not finish the game, was a friend and I had to return it. But I could see in videos on level 5.
for sega games, i generally use gamefabrique. the normal ending for it as well. it may not have quite as many games, but it has a nice selection, and has no need for ROM systems... you know what i mean, right?
She totally had it coming. She threw herself at my bike. ...so did the dog... and the chicken... the cars... other riders who fell off their bikes...and the sheep...
This song has been stuck in my head for 22yrs
23 years now
haha awesome. bonus points for running over the starting line chick!
this brings a smile to my face.... for some reason i can relive my childhood for 5 seconds
Love the crowbar in this game! Clank!... Clank! and you´re down!! Used to play it a lot, still have my passwords around!
that was epic man!! thanks for uploading, thats my childhood right there i want it back! i didnt stop laughing all the way through... pmslll :D
That's some badass pizza delivery music.
OMG!!! I loved this game sooooooo much!!!! I was about 8-10 years old (somewhere along those lines) when i played this! I couldn't control my bike too well but i still loved this game soo much!!!!! Keep Thrashing baby!!!!

Man same here when i was kid road rash was my favorite game ever i still play.
Haha, thanks!

I
Haha, that's one of the best parts of the game, xD. I remember being younger and just falling on purpose so I could jog around without my bike till a cop picked me up...haha xD
omg the countless night this kept me up as a kid... lol
Ah, some of the best memories to date.
I was more of a crowbar guy myself, but I respect your chain swag.
You too huh? This game was just a perfect blend of fun and awesome.
@RussianRailroad it's a digital/videogame version of the italian song Tarantella Napoletana. Remixed, of course, to add a more 'rock' sound to it.
Hahaha. The start of the race is the funnest part xD
And I forgot all about boost until like the last stage of the game, lol.
Some rock band HAS to play this tune exactly like that, seriously. Would make my day - month - LIFE!
Hell yeah it was. That would be amazing. Multi platformed though, I have a 360. Xbox Live Road Rash... *shivers*
best remix ever done for this song
The good thing with my mother is that she kinda doesn't care what I do as long as I don't get in trouble. After seeing this, I may download the emulator and play it again. Ahh... fond memories. When I played it, I also liked the crowbar and the numchucks.

@rb1a1ba I've always preferred the look of Road Rash 3. Gameplay, levels, graphics, sound effects, music. All top notch.
@rb1a1ba Yes, the actually went with digitized graphics that was the "in thing" at the time.
This one of those games where you have just as much fun losing as you do winning!
I love this game ! Forever in my heart :D !
This is just epic, I got my Mega Drive out again recently, and I did have this ... But I dont know where its gone :( going to buy it again! as it is one the best games ever AND THE MUSIC WAS EPIC!
1:49 LOL hahahaaha!! poor dog =))) i always loved to ride at him xDD
I'm just here to listen to the music... also 1:47 .... HOW DEAD IS THAT DOG?
i love the music it gets stuck in ur head
Some people would think 11th place is bad, but really you have to fight your way all through the race. It's pretty nuts. Believe it or not my girlfriend finished Road Rash 3 for Sega
@tecmo1 - Couldn't agree with you more on this one. A next gen Road Rash would be seriously awesome :)
Why didn't you have the nunchucks man...they are the most powerful weapons in the game
love this games so much
I personally liked the 3rd better, but I loved all 3 of them. The second was gold.
yes, they resemble each other very much
4:39
Fucking hell nice dodge dude!
That's usally where I get creamed!
I always loved the Post race/Busted/Wrecked-videos,they always made me laugh. Now I need to go DL this and Urban Strike and I'll be a happy man again!
Boy, am I embarrassed. We still have our old Sega Genesis, and we enjoyed the Road Rash games there, but I never knew of #3.
+1 my prefered game on the genesis ^^
Love this song.
Haha i agree, defiantly the best use of Midi in a game. I still always thought the crowbar was the best weapon. Plus it somehow seemed more brutal, as far as 16bit pixels can be brutal...
@icecurator Oh god I know.
And yet it was still an amazing game, haha.
@Drakeriaz I wish they would of released a soundtrack for the game xD Japan's level music was cool too.
hell yea it would. very epic road rash race though. i commend you
I remember playing this as a kid! I never won many races because I was too busy running around running into shit, and kicking the shit out of people. I remember I would grab a crowbar and try to knock the cop off his bike lol
so gud
Playing this in 2016
I mean, Nina was modeled after former video game designer Nina Stanley, whose previous video game work was "Crystal Mines" for the NES (among others).
But who does Natasha resemble?
Italy was my favorite track
A while ago they released Road Rash 3D on the playstation. I would like to see a newer RR though.
@tecmo1 Totally agreed. Road Rash on a next gen system would be amazing.
Sadly EA is too concerned about other shit so... doubt we will see anything of that nature -.-
All Right!!!
Lol hell yeah! Back when games didn't have ratings and the worlds parents werent trying to ruin our fantisies of being Sport-bike street racers. To this day I still would love to burn down a highway at 160mph fighting with other riders.
they were so much more aggressive in this game compared to the first two
i used to fuckin love this game when i was little i still go th sega mega drive genesis
@123kid2121 Bomber Games needs to get on that. They did it for Streets of Rage, why not for Road Rash
@kingd0d0 well, yeah the virtual console on the wii
@o@ this game is awesome thx man for the reply awesome, imma go play it now
I'm thinking about doing a video of the Japan level.
...Hmmm.

Anyone remember why the old Sega EA cartridges always were bigger and had the yellow stripe thing on it?
I've always liked the chain.
Oh God, I hope they put this on the Virtual Console one day
I LOVE THE MUSIC!!!

ITALY: Tear up the pastoral hill where drivers treat laws as as....suggestions! XD

Memories!!!!
It would have been funnier if the riders and cops yelled at you in italian. Opponent rides past and yells "vaffanculo"
On the sega it was hold up and press start. And finding roms that you can put on your PSP, no idea.
Haha, thanks. Yeah I was suprised how long I went without a fall. I actually got lucky with swirving in and otu of obsticals. Sucks that the only 2 times I fell was from turning too hard, and smashing into an invisble wall. :V
This is what the Stig did before he joined Top Gear.
ROAD RASH NEEDS A REMAKE!
hey people, did you know if you press "up" key while attacking, you do a different move?

@erazman I could play it the whole day!!!
Epic game!!!

Classic biker game. It is customary to smack the biker next to you when the race starts (crowbar or nunchucks are a bonus). :D
She totally had it coming. She threw herself at my bike.
...so did the dog... and the chicken... the cars... other riders who fell off their bikes...and the sheep...
Check the video description =]
I posted links on where to download the SNES emulator for PC, and the ROM for the game itself.
I remember running 30 minutes to the finish line so my bike wouldnt explode, pricesless.
why are the graphics poorer than road rash 1?
Hills in a racing game.
Mode 7, eat your heart out.
this game is so fucking badass
@graffitiartist22
Are you sure about... Belladonna?
@saladin92 really? i just noticed you can kick pressing 'down', and pressing 'up' shows the weapon you own. Thanks for the tip
4:50 back! Bolo back! lol
