Hello, love these, thank you. Really eye opening on my Torah walk. Do you have a video specifically talking about Nazarenes? I know you study the Zohar and Talmud, so im curious to see specifically how they had their mindset toward moshiach and these books. I am starting to read them and want to know all the whys and wheres and hows on practical life/living with these books being regarded.
Thanks you for watching and commenting! I actually don’t study the Zohar. Just quietly reading through the Talmud though. I sometimes quote the Zohar from secondary sources though. Kitzur Shulchan Aruch (Code of Jewish Law) is a good place to start. 😁
Great video as always. I have a question, since it was mentioned in the video. Why was the Beit haMiqdash destroyed? Christians will say because of G-ds rejection of the Jewish people.
Thank you for watching. HaShem has to varying degrees rejected and reembraced his people many times. He even rejects us and accepts us many times in our lifetimes. Rarely does He ever reject without leaving some opportunity for return or restoration of relationship. If a nation or a person is still in existence, that is a big hint that there is a chance to restore things to their former glory. Christianity likes to capitalize on the Jews hardships and lows with HaShem, but Christianity has never received Divine ordination as a replacement. HaShem leaves Christianity around to be a thorn in the side of the Priestly class of mankind - Yisrael. They'll go away one day when all the nation does t'shuvah. Anyway, to answer your question. The second temple was destroyed largely because of baseless hatred between Jews. Here is what one source says however: "The Talmud (Yoma 9b) describes traditional theological reasons for the destruction: "Why was the first Temple destroyed? Because the three cardinal sins were rampant in society: idol worship, licentiousness, and murder… And why then was the second Temple - wherein the society was involved in Torah, commandments and acts of kindness - destroyed? Because gratuitous hatred was rampant in society." I love these.
Me too so fascinating
