Would it have killed the producers to have done something like this for the final episode...or even had a special intro for the final month or so that celebrated 37 years of fantastic characters? What they gave us instead was an insult imo.
I'm surprised! Considering that she was on the show for a decade, and her last ever scene was scolding Roxy for breaking into Freya's house. That doesn't sit right with me!
@@joshwillis2879 I think she was fired because of all that nonsense last year and I also believe that's the reason for Ch 5 suddenly dropping the show..I said at the time that they'd have to sacrifice a big character to appease the mobs and that Ch5 wouldn't want to be associated with the show anymore so would drop it. The way ch 5 has been acting in the last year towards the show proves that to me..they've been complete assholes. I feel so sorry for Colette and considering her comment on Twitter in response to a fan's comment, l don't even think she realised this was a permanent exit until she saw she'd been taken out of the opening sequence. I think she may have been under the impression that this was just a suspension which is all it should have been (if anything at all) if I'm correct about the reason for it. Either way it's an insult to both Collette and the fans to have her character just disappear into oblivion like that, after so long in the show and I think the fans should be up in arms and loudly let their thoughts be know about it to Fremantal..she has left a big hole in the show and will be sorely missed..It will be impossible to replace her.

A that just made me smile..... so the channel five shortfall is apparently £5 million a year, so given the viewers top 1.4 million we could all crowd fund it?
well, channel 5 are in cahoots as are channel 4 about broadcasting licences....michael grade's daughter sounds like she's worried about the future of broadcasting...a bit like the latest newswatch programme..."dumbing down the noise"...
According to April (Chloe) it looks like set tours - which have been cancelled throughout COVID - won’t resume and everything will be demolished as soon as the final scenes have been shot and cast have departed. You’d think a museum would at least save elements of the set, wouldn’t you? Eg the one in Fed Square Orrr an online charity auction should be held *shrug*
Majority of Australians are originally English UK citizens I wonder if most left long time ago because they hated the changes in the UK with multiculturalism , there is certainly no such thing as neighbours in the UK those days have gone.
I stopped watching years ago .hasn't got the tension of prisoner or even sons and daughters ...I'm not surprised it's ending. I don't know anyone that watches ..hey everything ends one day
So many iconic characters. So many memories and all of them great. Sad it’s going. Watched from the start here in the U.K.

It does seem very sudden - and you can tell that characters have taken Sheila's place in some stories.
