ive got a new moerman excelerator to test and use at work, here i demo it in hand and on a pole, although using tools like this on a pole is not what i am used to.
Good one Paul. I find in hand the pad is too heavy for extended use. Using it as a bare squeegee with scrubber in other hand is best. Either fixed or swivel. I use it fixed on older frames as I have much more control at the rough edges but on new domestic or commercial glass the pivot action is super fast and with practice really accurate.
LOOKS BRILL!!!! I'm using the combinator and like it alot and I cant decide if i'd prefer this new one or stick with the combinator? The combinators only downside I've found is on old sash n case windows espesially when on the pole. Also using the combinator as a one pass tool on the pole is not always easy as the angle becomes wrong as you have to stand really close to the window to get it to be the right angle on the pole. think this new tool will be better for older windows that the one pass struggles with... hope that made sense lol, great video though
The Excelerator pad is excellent with the clips and maybe one could set it up quickly with the pad under as well as the pad over! When I get mine I will try hooking it up to the Wagtail swivel handle, making it almost the ultimate combination applicator/squeegee! I wonder if that combination would beat the “soon” to be released Wagtail Wave!
Hi there. I think if you had a more rigid stick the high work would be easier. I used to use Pulex Sticks. Then I started using my 'Reach-it Mini WFP' as a stick. So much better. I tried to go back to the Pulex stick and it was just so sloppy compared to a stiff carbon fiber pole.
seems cool, similar to Wagga, i have not found a consistent use for the design but always carry one just in case, I could see a mod to keep that pad from swinging around after you use it to wash, i would like that.
I usually when poling take care of the edges first then fill the middle in.. It's easier that way. You don't seem to have any issues using the pole. In a couple of weeks practice you'll be as good as anyone on RUclips
yeah i know the way you do that, i did it that way in this video on the second pane, i was doing it on the first one too in practice but did it that way for some reason. one of the problems i have is closing out, i think the handle is in the way a bit, 5 star highlights this in his video.
Very good video. Thanks for the pole work, that's what I wanted to see. BTW, extend the second section all the way, not the third. You'll get less flexing and more control.
@@PickingPaul1 Idont get to do the same thing daily because i run a one stop shop business from chainsaws gardem multitools carpet cleaning gutters house tenner cleans etc etc so I'm watching closely learning from others talents. I prefer over the top. Do you like hard or soft rubber. 😀
Often the wagtail washer pad are bad. Have you tried to put this channel and pad on a wagtail? ...... I heard that you need the moerman pole, for a moerman squeegee? Five star guy? ...Dont want to change poles for just one tool
Wow i need this because everytime i clean the window im having a problem always thankyou for sharing this mate

Good insight Eric. Didnt think to try it as a squeegee on its own.

Hi Paul

Kind Regards
From Stefan

Hello Paul, are you now using the Excelerator or the combinator as a everyday squeegee.
Dennis Hilton excellerator every day I work in hand, often using it just to apply solution to glass and follow with another liquidator
PickingPaul1 cheers Paul do you use the execelerator at 40 degree setting mostly?

moerman asked me to test it for them

Is this available to buy yet in England? If so where from?
nope, not available anywhere in the world im afraid
Do you like the flip pad over or under squeegee
over, i find it gets in the way under, however using over i have to hold pad with finger while squeegeeing, what do u do?
