@@Eau.de.Jarino it's identical to the normal one as far as profile but it's richer, sweeter, juicier. It makes your skin delectable and edible. As if the fragrance is alive! More projection, lasts longer, and again more flavor! No need to use the normal one unless you just want to spray something less expensive which is a reasonable thing to do, because neither are cheap. You're going to love it! If money's no option, you won't go back.
Also it may be worth noting, that if you're spraying the extrait less, it might have more "bang for your buck" in terms of performance. For example if you only have to apply the extrait once per day versus twice per day for the normal one, there could theoretically be value there. But I haven't lived long enough with either to know for sure because I have so many different and new fragrances that I'm still trying.

Do you like Parfums de Marly Perseus? I ordered their sample kit a while ago, like a month, and I chose Althair and Layton Exclusif as my two extra free samples with it. I really wasn't that impressed with any of those, which were Haltane (I love that one, but it's so expensive and I already have LV Ombre Nomade and Lattafa Oud for Glory), Greenley, Percival, Layton, Pegasus, Carlisle, and Herod. Greenley is pretty good too, but I already have LV Pacific Chill, and I prefer that. Layton and Layton Exclusif are both okay, but I don't really love either of them. I was probably just going to let my $50 off coupon expire, that I got for ordering the sample pack in the first place. I like Pegasus, but not enough to actually buy it, at least not at this point. I might try Pegasus Exclusif some day, but the regular one just didn't really amaze me. But then a couple weeks ago, my friend who works at Nordstrom hooked me up with a sample of Perseus, and I LOVE THAT STUFF!!! I just ordered a 75 ml bottle of it a couple hours ago, and I got to pick three free samples. I chose Sedley, because I've been wanting to try that, Delina, in case my ex fiance gives me another chance, I'll be able to give that to her, and I think Kalan, which I just haven't tried yet. I used my Louis Vuitton fragrances this morning. I layered LOVERS, Attrape-Reves, Pacific Chill, Ombre Nomade, Nuit de Feu, and City of Stars, on my neck and arms. I could smell it all day at work, at my desk. I also used like one spray of my sample of Perseus, on the back of my left hand, and I couldn't stop smelling my left hand all day! I can't get enough of that bright, vibrant uplifting grapefruit opening scent, and the dry down is indescribably; I love it so much! I don't know if that's ambergris or just ambroxide or something, but it REALLY agrees with my nose!
