- Never released I made this for fun the end of 2004. Later I found out Roger Sanchez had been playing the crap out of it on his radio show for weeks saying it was a Grant Nelson remix. Very odd?!
Those are real strings on there played and put together by Pete Whitfield. My Mark 1 Fender Rhodes and Hammond played by Barney Williams, live Music Man bass by Nathan Sudders. Very fun project that although never released managed to spread around the globe without my say so!

Awesome track man! Don't know how I'd never heard this version! Those strings are just perfect, they literally seem like something that MAW would have put on it in the first place, so fitting! Actually really reminds me of the string parts on their remix of The Boss. Amazing work!
Cheers man 😁. It wasn't ever officially released just a few white labels got sent out. I heard sometime Roger Sanchez hammered it on his radio show for about 6months. I offered it to Louie but he either didn't get the msg or was to big to reply. It was fun making it with live bass and Rhodes recorded in my little studio and Pete did the strings at his end. I spent quite a bit of cash on this remix! As Dave Lee pointed out.... that was a bit daft haha
@@cyclefactoryuk happen to have any 12's left? I'd love to buy one. Love this song, always couldn't stand the electric guitar solo & had 2 copies to blend around it, but that was a pain. This version is what it should have been, I'm guessing it didn't get to Lou or by the time it did he had moved on. Probably was working w/ Roy Ayers for Our Time Is Coming. Anyways, THIS is Superb & I'd love to buy a copy if you have any around still. Looked on Discogs & didn't see any. Congrats either way, great work.
