Interesting fact I learned not long ago. Even though Denmark has some of the best abort laws regarding the choice for the women, not many women are taking it. Why? Experts point to the fact that Denmark are really good at educate teenagers at schools of different kind of protection and risks, but also have an easy acces to prevent pregnancy in the first place.

I’m danish and I have chosen abortion at one point because that was the only right thing for me at that point in my life. The key here is…MY LIFE.
In Denmark you don’t have to justify your choice with anything up until week 12 of your pregnancy. You go to the doctor and get referred to the hospital. Here you get a scan to ensure that the pregnancy is in the right place. Then you are asked to chose between a medical solution with pills our an operation under full anaesthesia. You as a women are treated with full respect and care at all time from absolutely everyone. Between week 12-20 you can get an abortion approved if the baby is to sick to survive, you become to sick, you where raped and haven’t told it to anyone before now etc.
An other important thing is that sex is something we talk about. Both parents, kids and teachers. They are thought in school how to protect them self and girls will in many cases get birth control pills from an early age. 1. To protect her from being a young mum. A kid should be a kid as long as possible, 2 because sex is not shameful! You just have to protect your self!
I have 3 kids now! With my boys i talk about they why they have to treat women and be aware of there body language. An no don’t have to be said out loud to be a now. We also discuss condoms as an natural thing. 2 with me girl we discuss how to say no and to protect them self.
We teach them and show them a way as a responsible parent.
If my kids gets pregnant ant any point in there life and wants an abortion then I will be right at there sides all the way.

In 2018 I had a septic pregnancy . God knows how but the baby was inside me not alive for 2 whole months and no one from the hospital called me back in to sort it out . Even though they had told me that the baby’s heart beat was gone . They told me to wait and then come back . One night I became unresponsive and luckily my neighbour found me and called the ambulance. If I wouldn’t of gone in that night I would of been dead . Just a couple of months ago a lady died at the hospital because her water broke prematurely, the fetus was dying but its heart was still beating so the hospital did nothing and she died of sepsis. They did nothing, they left her to die in the hospital bed. Her name was Izabela and she was from Pszczyna. Please don’t give me “gray areas” we all will die and no one is guaranteed tomorrow. Ruth Ginsburg a pro- abortion justice even said Roe v Wade was very weak, this will be overturned and will go back to states, so women can drive to states that perform baby killing.

@@lindacosgrove7918 It's impossible to "abort" a baby once it's born, so yes I'd agree with you at that point it is murder. You said Colorado passed this and Maryland is considering it, do you have any sources to show this? "We all will die and no one is guaranteed tomorrow," you're right about this as well, but my question is why does a fetus get more rights than the women that are already here?
Also, the primary goal of abortions is not to "kill a baby," the goal is to terminate the pregnancy. Usually this is done early in pregnancy which means unfortunately the embryo/fetus will die as it is unable to survive outside of the womb at that stage. If it's possible to terminate the pregnancy WITHOUT the fetus dying (meaning they are viable outside of the womb), then that's what they'll do. This is about a women's bodily autonomy and NO ONE gets to use her body without consent, even if it is her child.
Let me ask this, if a child has a terminal illness and needs an organ to survive, are we going to force their parents to donate their organ to them? Sure a lot of parents may happily give their child their organ (depending on the organ), but no one is going to FORCE that parent to donate their organ to the child EVEN if it means the child will end up dying. So again, why are we giving a fetus more rights than someone who is already here?

Every means of abortion is torture. The pill basically starves the baby to death. Surgically, they are ripped apart while alive. If people are going to support barbaric procedures, they need to look into exactly what they are. And it has been proven time and again that the child can feel it and often they are seen fighting for their lives.

    I'm not pro-“murdering babies”.
I'm pro-Becky who found out at her 20 week anatomy scan that the infant she had been so excited to bring into this world had developed without life sustaining organs.
I'm pro-Susan who was sexually assaulted on her way home from work, only to come to the horrific realization that her assailant planted his seed in her when she got a positive pregnancy test result a month later.
I'm pro-Theresa who hemorrhaged due to a placental abruption, causing her parents, spouse, and children to have to make the impossible decision on whether to save her or her unborn child.
I'm pro-little Cathy who had her innocence ripped away from her by someone she should have been able to trust and her 11 year old body isn't mature enough to bear the consequence of that betrayal.
I'm pro-Melissa who's working two jobs just to make ends meet and has to choose between bringing another child into poverty or feeding the children she already has because her spouse walked out on her.
I'm pro-Brittany who realizes that she is in no way financially, emotionally, or physically able to raise a child.
I'm pro-Emily who went through IVF, ending up with SIX viable implanted eggs requiring selective reduction in order to ensure the safety of her and a SAFE amount of fetuses.
I'm pro-Christina who doesn't want to be a mother, but birth control methods sometimes fail.
I'm pro-Jessica who is FINALLY getting the strength to get away from her physically abusive spouse only to find out that she is carrying the monster's child.
I'm pro-Vanessa who went into her confirmation appointment after YEARS of trying to conceive only to hear silence where there should be a heartbeat.
I'm pro-Lindsay who lost her virginity in her sophomore year with a broken condom and now has to choose whether to be a teenage mom or just a teenager.
I'm pro-Courtney who just found out she's already 13 weeks along, but the egg never made it out of her fallopian tube so either she terminates the pregnancy or risks dying from internal bleeding.
You can argue and say that I'm pro-choice all you want, but the truth is:
    I'm pro-life.
    Their lives.
    Women's lives.
You don't get to pick and choose which scenarios should be accepted.

Nowadays people talk like unless you have a perfect life with a large income, then having a child will be too difficult or something; mothers throughout history have gone through hell and back with their children, having little money or bad living conditions, but they kept going, because they were selfless, and loving.
You telling the other poster to take care of other people's children is ridiculous, you're actually saying "take care of this child, otherwise we'll kill it"; parents have a responsibility to raise their own children, not anyone else. look at yourself Jenny, this is evil and twisted.

Or when they end up being born but severely injured because of what has been done to them? That doesn't really take into account this young person's choice to live does it? You can clearly see when a baby is born that they have all the necessary functions and drive to live, one might call that a choice to live, to experience the world around them... But when they are inside the womb it is ok to take away that choice? To make it so the baby never gets the opportunity to make any choice ever again?

I'm pro abortion. It was 1987 and I was 28. One refused because of his religion the second didn't. The nurse who was supposed to explain the procedure decided to lecture me until I stopped her about adoption. I told her in no uncertain terms that her job was to explain the procedure and keep her politics out of it. It shocked her how determined I was. She explained it. It's interesting how the misled think abortion is a form of birth control but never say that about a man with a vasectomy that prevents conception as a form of birth control. It's also amazing how some men are against abortion until they don't want to be saddled with an unwanted kid and suddenly abortion is fine. My boyfriend at the time had a kid he refused to raise or give financial help to saying the mother didn't want it. He should've done it anyway. He was outraged that I didn't discuss my decision with him. He said because you refused to discuss it with me I'm not paying for it. Talk about confusion! I was 28, an adult, my decision, why on earth would I want him to pay for it! Mr. how Dare You Not Discuss It With Me wound up in prison for 8 years the following year. Not exactly father material. My medical decisions are mine and it's ridiculous to me that you don't pay for them yourself. Making the decision was easy. Going through it wasn't as I'd never had an operation of any kind. But I got garbage from the doctor with the are you sure? Are you sure? I told him it wasn't his place to question my decision. It took 3 years to find a doctor to sterilize me. Same garbage. Why! Are you sure? I got that done. Neither decision was hard. The doctor gave me too much anesthesia and I almost didn't wake up. Scared the nurse silly who was watching over me. Choice is choice! We don't need to explain, defend, justify or apologize for our decisions for any procedure! At 12 weeks it was small enough to be suctioned out by a tube. None of this tearing anything limb from limb. I'm fed up with pro lifers who want to decide for others be they men OR women. They're real big on telling you not to abort but do they bring the woman to their home? Pay for all medical expenses? Be there during labor? Be there at birth? Literally be a relative to help raise the kid? Of course not! Nor do they adopt all the unwanted kids in Children's Services. Legal or illegal we'll still do it. It's safer the legal way. To this day I feel no guilt. No regret. And no one will make me feel that way. And those who do abortions don't have to explain, defend, justify or apologize for giving a woman this health care need! If one doesn't believe in abortion great! Don't have one! No one asks your permission nor need your approval be it a woman having an abortion or from the one doing the abortion. The funniest complaint about abortion is the idea that you're paying for it. When you personally get the bill which you don't, you're not paying for it. It's no one else's business!

It's insane that men think it's their right to force women to go through nine month of pregnancy which can be very traumatic and damaging to their body, then through birth it self, because the man raped them, or has left them, and the man themselves will likely have no consequences for the pregnancy.
I think it's also important to remember that doctors can't force people to be organ donors to save someone's life, or to donate blood, so why do people think it's okay to force women to go through 9 months of pregnancy and birth (let along the 18+ years of rasing the child if they don't want to put it up for adoption) to save the 'life' of a clump of cells. It is literally proposing that dead people have more rights then women, even if you consider life to begin at conception and a clump of cells to be equivalent to a fully grown adult.
And even after all of that you say the children can just go to foster care and a loving family, I would like to remind you that currently 120,000 children are waiting to be adopted at the moment, so there is simply too many for them all to live a happy ever after, it is not ethical

Thats how ignorant people are. Some people can't afford a child, some people had everything going for them when they became pregnant and then boom their partner leaves. So, many reasons and no one should have a say. It is actually very weird for someone to care so much about what someone does to their body. People love to say that "Oh, but the baby isn't her body." Well, yes it very much is, because without her there would not be a fetus therefore her decision comes 1st no matter what. If you can't cure a women's illness, if you can't take away that pain for her, if you can't pay the bills she no longer can afford for having a child, and if you can't support her through whatever is holding her back from having a child, then the decision does not and will never concern you. People have a lot of opinions &

I was told my baby could not survive, I would be lucky to get to full term and if I did she would most likely be still born or may live a few hours. I bled out after delivering my little girl and was rushed for emergency surgery and several blood transfusions I’m very lucky to be here today. This was a very much wanted pregnancy which unfortunately had no happy ending. RIP my beautiful little Angel ❤️ x

If they do not want it,give it to an adoption centre, there's plenty being open every single day, just because they're not financially stable, which is their faults they should've tought about that well before sexual intercourse, but no instead they don't want to take any effort to take responsibility of that child and instead kill it

@@risevision1080 If they didn't want the child in the first place, they'd have to give up their body for 9 months and go through the pain of child birth just to instantly give the child away. Women should have control over their body. Also, a foetus has no right to be born, and human rights only apply at the point of birth, therefore the wishes of the mother should always take priority over an unborn child. Also if you are the child who has been adopted, your quality of life is going to be a shit show - they're probably going to wonder why their mother didn't want them, and they'll spend a great portion of their life feeling isolated. Even if the mother did decide to keep the child, didn't put it up for adoption but were still struggling to raise it, the quality of life for both the mother and the child would suffer. Not only that, but if the mother's life is in danger then there's no question that an abortion should always be allowed, and abortions are offered if it is suspected that the child will be born with a disability that will significantly affect their quality of life.
I just don't believe that in this day in age, people don't want to show women respect and allow them to have full control over their body

Which is actually determined by each individual human being. Ppl who get cancer typically have a worse quality of life, should we kill them to spare them? Do we kill ppl Bc they may be poor, may get raped, may lose a limb? No that’s crazy. Also, Raped individuals which makes up less than 1% of abortions, and don’t give that consent. No MAN because let's be honest here, the majority of laws etc are passed by men, or religion, has the right to dictate the bodily autonomy of another human. There are so many reasons for a pregnancy being ended, not just because it was an accident. Health of the mother, incest, rape, health of the fetus, accidents, all of these also contribute to decisions made by adults who find themselves in situations where they have to make a horrific decision.
Don't think for one second anyone considering pregnancy termination thought this was the route they would be going down, it's not always so black and white. It truly is the greyist of grey areas.

    • @thepaintedcynic6616

@BigMacWeeb No one is aborting an 8 month old baby in the womb. Abortions occur early on for a reason. Pregnancies can be risky and harmful to the woman. Having a child is a massive responsibility, even if you give them up for adoption. In this instance, we should prioritize the lives of the women, who have friends and families, who feel pain and emotions, and most importantly can make an informed decision about their life. Abortions will still happen even if it is illegal. Home abortions kill women.

@BigMacWeeb actually there have been studies that say foetus’s aren’t capable of feeling pain until the third trimester which is 27 weeks. Abortions usually take place before 24 weeks which means they don’t feel pain. Plus until 22 weeks the foetus isn’t considered viable, which mean it can survive outside the womb, so even if it is considered alive inside the womb, without the mother it wouldn’t survive. That means it’s completely the mother’s choice what happens to it.

You have zero understanding between the difference of active and passive. Pregnancy is not an active, forcing people to use their bodies to save another person is (such as forced kidney/liver donations for example). Abortion is active, it is an action of deliberately butchering or suffocating an individual human being. “Body autonomy” is a euphemism. Nothing more. It is equivalent to referring to mass deportation and genocide of minorities as “ethnic autonomy”.

The fact that our schools should have to teach children about safe sex is already a symptom of 2 things: 1. That our society is promiscuous, something that shouldn’t be. (Especially when a common and poor criticism I receive in response to my anti-abortion position is the claim that the world is overpopulated). And 2. That there are 0 statutes in place that penalize this promiscuity and any murders that result from it. “Women die from not having access to abortion” unless you’re referring to septic pregnancies, this isn’t a problem. Murderers should not feel safe in their acts and any harm they receive is harm they have brought about themselves. It is very much a genocide, the murder of individuals isn’t basic healthcare. So much that it was forbidden in the original hippocratic oath. You obviously didn’t even absorb anything I have said this entire time, as you have never addressed any of my arguments with constructive criticism. You know absolutely nothing about why a woman might choose to have an abortion. People are allowed to have sex and feel pleasure. Just because you don’t personally believe it’s right doesn’t mean everyone has to live by that rule. Safe sex has accidents anyways even if doing it properly. “Promiscuity” has nothing to do with it. Women who are married for years might want an abortion. Women might not be able to afford an abortion. Pregnancy might pose a risk to the mother. The baby may have sever complications in which abortion would be the proper option. There are SO many reasons for abortion. You’re so “pro life” but you don’t even value the life that’s already here, the mother. But you’re the same kind of person to shame a mother who actually went through with the pregnancy and now can’t afford to properly care for a child, because they aren’t being responsible even the the responsible thing was to have an abortion. People get pregnant by mistake. It happens. And not everyone can or wants to carry a baby to term and give it up for adoption

@@sarahbennett7823 Majority of your reply is complete deflection and red herrings but I’ll respond anyways. I see you haven’t taken my advice of ceasing to reply until you figured out what you’re even typing. I know much about why a woman might choose an abortion, and I’ve already refuted the legitimacy of every instance you have mentioned and will proceed to do so again. People are allowed whatever the Lord God grants them. “Just because you don’t personally believe it’s right doesn’t mean everyone has to live by that rule”. I never said otherwise, I can’t stop people from doing what they want including mass murder unless I put myself at risk of death or torture. This isn’t vindication of your position, acts remain heinous and unjustified because I prove them as such in accordance to propositional logic and in accordance to the laws and statutes of God. I know that safe sex has accidents, accidents aren’t vindication of murder. If you decide to have sex one should be well aware of potential consequences or they shouldn’t do it. “Women who are married for years might want an abortion.” And it continues to be unjustified as the act of putting an innocent individual to death. “Women might not be able to afford the abortion.” I would say good, but rather I presume you didn’t mean what you typed as this statement is irrelevant and not an attempt at appeal to emotion or justification, I think you meant “some women may not afford to raise the child.” If this be the case, there are a multitude of solutions that don’t entail murder such as leaving the child in the care of someone else wether it be putting them up for adoption or leaving the child at a fire station. “Pregnancy might pose a risk to the mother” then the solution would be to monitor the pregnancy. The single and only valid complication I have heard is that of the septic pregnancy, which is mentioned in this video. From what I know, the child usually dies before the pregnancy becomes a risk to the mother. In this case it is not an abortion and instead a removal of the individual’s remains, which isn’t murder. There may also be the case in which both the woman and child may die, and if a serious risk is presented to the mother and the child’s death is guaranteed, then I remain neutral on the position. “The baby may have sever [sic] complications in which abortion would be the proper action” I’m not a utilitarian/eugenicist and killing innocent people on the basis of these philosophies is murder. There are SO many reasons for abortion, all of which you mentioned I have already known and refuted, and all of them with the sole exception of the septic pregnancy (which is neutral) are unjustified and invalid. “You’re so pro life but you don’t even value the life that’s already here, the mother” Both lives are already there. Both are living beings, and I care about all innocents. A mother should be cared for during and after her pregnancy for the sake of both lives, and if the mother is not innocent (such as conceiving the child from adultery or prostitution) then for the sake of the child. “But you’re the same kind of person to shame a mother who actually went through with the pregnancy and now can’t afford to properly care for a child, because they aren’t being responsible even the the [sic] responsible thing was to have an abortion.” On top of the blatant strawman fallacy, murder is never a responsible decision. “People get pregnant by mistake” I never said otherwise, and this is typically a part of most reasons to get an abortion. Once again not a source of vindication for your position. “And not everyone can or wants to carry a baby to term and give it up for adoption.” Elaborate, unless this is another one of your beloved proof by assertion fallacies. Now that I have responded to all of your deflections and red herrings, why don’t you address my refutations? Or better yet, refrain from commenting until you know what you’re talking about?

    And most importantly: Help parents.
Give them a lot of paid leave after that they can go back to work in their old job.
Give them a secure and free kindergarten stay for their children.

Love this woman. It's pretty important to note that abortion is not JUST ending and unwanted pregnancy. Medically, an abortion is ANY ending of a pregnancy that does not result in a live birth. Miscarriage, stillbirth, elective termination of an unwanted pregnancy, termination of a wanted but unviable pregnancy, etc.. There are dozens of complications and conditions that would make a pregnancy dangerous or impossible to carry to term, or the neonate would invariably suffer a very short painful life and, as a result, many very wanted pregnancies are aborted for the safety of the mother, or as a mercy to the child.
Politicians (mostly American politicians) have hijacked the term to only mean ending an unwanted pregnancy and that's just inaccurate, which is another sign that medical decisions should be made by medical doctors, not politicians.

A commenter to me made an excellent point to me. Yeah I'd be a crappy mom to human kids. I'm not fond of them but good with my pet kids. The father I told her had a child from another, he never bothered to help raise the kid, had no contact with her, refused to send money to the mom and gave excuses and a year after my abortion that I don't have a problem with 35 years later, he ended up in prison for 8 years on a gun charge. His parents were good parents and he wound up in jail. Lots of crappy parents have kids in jail who never bothered to teach them right. The commenter was absolutely right with another observation of theirs. Kids deserve to be loved and wanted. So why in heck do pro lifers demand unwanted kids be born in the first place if they're gonna be treated like crap or end up in Children's Services unwanted! I keep asking pro lifers why don't they take in a pregnant mom take care of her until the birth and help raise the kid. And what response do I get each time I ask? NOTHING! Pro lifers love the pre born but notice how they don't shout unfair when this country won't provide what's needed for pre K? Or paid maternity leave? Care about a fetus not care when they're born! Unless you're a single dad there's no paternity leave and with mom around when married who looks for child care? HER! Who worries more about that? MOMS! Who takes care of baby mostly? MOM! My mother was a narcissistic alcoholic. She was verbally abusive and just an awful person. I asked her once if she had a choice would she have gotten married and had kids(my brother and I) and she said nope! So why did she? Well she got married in 1954, and was born in 1931. Why does that matter? Just what mom said. You got married and had kids as a woman because that's what you were "supposed" to do. Mom never stopped working and in those days when my brother and I were born in '56 and '59 you were "supposed" to stay home. Not mom! She worked and dad worked. But with these bans on abortion and the possible reversal of Roe, women are going to be back to being forced to do what you're "supposed" to do! The stereotype of a woman! Give birth! Be a mom! Things were different then in many things with babies in the 50's when my brother and I came. No such thing as special formula if your baby was allergic to cow's milk. No such thing as WIC then! No such thing as disposable diapers! Cloth diapers with safety pins none of this pansy Huggies. Diaper services who'd take your dirty diapers wash them and bring them back at a price of course. Nursery school was our child care! No such thing as bringing your baby to work and having a room where the tots were looked after like some today. Then as now no paid maternity leave! Back then no such thing as the Pill when my brother and I came in the 50's. I don't know if they had other birth control stuff for women and who knows when condoms were invented that most men refuse to wear thinking birth control is all on her! You didn't want a baby NEITHER did 'it'! Well legal or not women and girls should not be forced to give birth. Yell at her for getting pregnant not yelling at him for no condom. We don't need a reason for abortion! Possible banning of contraceptives to today for her but doesn't include condoms of course! Yell at her for an abortion but NOT for vasectomies? Rant we're all paying for her abortion NO rant over we're all paying for HIS vasectomy! Sexist hypocrisy at it's absurd finest! Abortion bad when she wants it abortion no reaction when HE demands she get one! It's our bodies! The irony is that when you dictate to most about their kids what do they say! "Don't tell me how to raise my kid!" So why are anti abortion people dictating whether you have one or not! Don't like abortion? Great! Don't have one! Legal or illegal abortion won't stop! We're not incubators! And if pro lifers are so into birth then you grab that pregnant mom, take her into YOUR home, be with her for 9 months, pay for her doctor visits, be there at birth and you be part of her family and help raise that kid! You baby sit, buy supplies, help pay for education, teach right from wrong. And judging from the no responses when I demand of pro lifers why you won't be there for that kid and mom, proves you don't care. You punt them off to some agency but YOU won't personally be a part of that kid's life and help raise them. One pro lifer said to me I have no resources to adopt but I donate to charity! Kinda selective! Have money to punt an unwanted kid on a charity but won't take care of the kid themselves! If it's that important you make it so you can adopt! And those kids weren't aborted! A lot less work for you to do in the womb. Once they're born you're all off on another tangent against abortion. Kids SHOULD be wanted and loved! Deadbeat dads should take care of their spawn but they won't! Giving to charity for kids is NOT personal care! Reminds me of an adoption case in my city years ago. She was a 5 year old Black girl. Given up! So a White couple wanted to adopt her. The Black community was outraged! You don't know our culture they said! But NONE of them adopted the girl. The White couple did. They loved her like their own. Lectured that couple how awful they were for adopting a kid not of their race who was ignored BY their own! Lecture against abortion but expect others to pick up the pieces! So pro lifers, since you're unwilling to 'adopt' so to speak that pregnant mom forcing her to give birth with all the anti abortion crap going on, being there for her and her kid for the rest of YOUR lives, pro lifers, punting them both onto someone else, you have NO say on abortion!
