Love your videos about the cruise. Your vlog about last Year’s cruise was what convinced me I need to go on this year’s trip to celebrate 30 years of life.
We'll be going on the Headbanger Boat in October, this will be our 3rd year. The lineup on that cruise has more bands that I listen to than on 70tons, but it still looks like a blast. Have fun! 🤘
Thanks for sharing. I'm glad you're going this year, though I was secretly hoping that you would be performing. 🎸 One of the music themed cruises I saw last year had 31 performers and I got to see 16 if them. That was a rush! The others last year and this one have more reasonable totals of 12 to 20. Rock on!!
The Zenith Passage is sick af, I'd damn near have gone just for them and Beyond Creation. Decapitated is amazing too, Spheres of Madness fuggin slaps live.
I gave up. Headbangers boat got my money. You know it kinda helps they announce they whole lineup 10 months ahead. Not that the 34 bands announced badd on 70k. There are bands i'd like to see but i needed a few more bands to justify dropping that many racks. Hell if 70k would've had had 45-50 out of 60 a month ago ight, could've made last minute travel bookings for flights etc. but nope.
This will be my second time going, I'm super excited. Last time I went was for the 2018 lineup, and I thought at the time that the selection of bands would never be topped. 2025 has the potential to beat 2018 for me if we get some more thrash and melodic death metal bands represented. 26 more bands to go. A lot can change.
It's so refreshing seeing someone carrying on the scene. I've never gone to the cruise. Dude.. Enjoy seeing Finntroll F&J Sepultura & Candlemass!!! You just need Jason Newsted on this cruise.. then..it'll be a real party
I jumped on their website right after I finished watching your cruise vlogs back in December, curious to see how many bands had been announced with only 2 months to go... I was somewhat surprised to see half already up & had my fingers crossed they were actually changing up their booking process. Silly me!
This is gonna be my 3rd year. With the plane ticket from Canada, one night hotel the day before, Uber back and forth, food at the airport and anywhere outside the ship, 3 shirts and 1 hoodie, zero alcohol and zero excursions cost me 3500$. I would consider myself careful with money. Is it worth it? Absolutely !!!! Do it once and see for yourself. I dare you. 🤘
Even with less than half of the bands announced, it’s a solid lineup. Not a big fan of the power metal anymore (too happy 😂) but there’s some hefty music on this list. Not enough dm to my liking though.
Honestly, between the delay in lineup and just how not put together it always seems in vlogs/people talking about it… it’s kept me from going on it even though I’d like to.
My Drummer will be on 70k cruise this year. If you see an older, short, 60% deaf Honduran with southern accent, thats him
Thats apparently ONE HELL OF A DRUMMER!
Me hitting random on character select
Hold on you talking raf ?

I hear that in the kids area Possessed was gonna be performing and doing a meet and greet after their set.
