If only I had the money for this, by far the saber I've wanted the most for years now. Ever since I first saw this design nearly 10 years ago now I always picture this saber in mind for Bane whenever I read the Bane trilogy, ancient in look but practical and gives off a dangerous and intimidating vibe. Perfect weapon for a Dark Lord of the Sith.
You are truly a great saber smith. I haven’t watched a video in awhile and I’m still as blown away as I was the first time I saw your work. Outstanding 😍😍😍
@@colesonfox6544 no different than when I paid for saber commissions from Solo's Hold, HARP and the number of saber runs I got in over the years. When one knows what the work entails and roughly how much it'll be, one is pretty much resigned to what it will be --- otherwise one does not go through it at all.
Are there any plans on making any more? I just recently got into collecting sabers and just stumbled onto this. I would LOVE to get my hands on one of these masterpieces if possible!
Ooo man. If I didn't have so much tied up waiting for a pricey VV run... I need this in my life. Bane is my All time favorite. Take an IOU till it's completed? Lol. do you offer gift certificates I can buy up to always have cash on hand with you?
I have a strange question to ask and I'm kind of an art student to ask this and decent with machines and hand building anything don't have a 3D printer though you know how that goes they cost money a lot of money and I don't have that I'm a college student so you know how that goes but would you be okay if I designed a saber and sent the schematics to you can build it if you want but I will make one special request for the soundboard I want it to sound like the darksaber from Star Wars the Clone Wars or Star Wars Rebels either one or at least a variation of it where it has its own unique sound but has that old style of the darksaber and I would like to get silver as a coloration if possible but like I said don't have the money right now to buy anything like that heck I'm dealing with a Grand Theft Auto case but it was just an idea that I had floating around in my head
@@rad1ata If you want an off-road vehicle you wouldn't buy a Cadillac. If you own a Cadillac you wouldn't take it off road. Uh...its your money...so...uh...do whatever you like.
@@MadcowGenesis wow well done. I been asking to get a bane saber built with the bone as the grip like in the book. Yours is close to what I imagined in the book. I would design the rest of the hilt a little different though. Beautiful work you did for this though.
First it was early August. Then it was August 15th. They don't really know. They are just waiting on erv to finish the final release of the firmware I believe. Hopefully soon. It's customer updateable so it must be major feature bugs they don't want to release and fix later. Me personally would rather deal with bugs to get the sabers shipping.

Is it possible to put a krayt dragon pearl in there instead of a Kyber crystal?
Almost anything is "possible", but I have not tried that yet.

Are any of your Neopixel blades good for medium to heavy dueling with your other sabers?
My NPX-2 blades will certainly take a beating, but I do not make the thick wall/heavy grade blades if that is what you mean.
Why pay $500 for something beautiful then smash the he'll out of it? There are plenty of stunt sabers for that.

This one is 3D print, and then hours of special secret treatments to make it look and feel like bone.

I do not have plans for a next run. I plan to auction some of the sabers from this run, one or two a year.

What's the run time of neopixel. Would I be an idiot in thinking that is a rather small battery for a neopixel setup
It would be under an hour at full power. I plan to have a powersaver setup option as well to extend run time by sacrificing a bit of brightness
The saber animations are only neopixel right?
Correct. Tri-Cree blade profiles will just be different variations of flicker and pulse
