Those push button adjustable water pump pliers are the exact same as harbor freight's doyle brand. Mac tools relables them also I think.

I’ve had their stainless strippers for years. They were my favorites over Klein’s until the Forged strippers came out from Knipex. However each have their place and purpose in my bags

Master electrician here with 22 years in the trade. I’ve always watched and enjoyed your content and absolutely 100% agree with you on the Knipex, Wera, and Milwaukee tools. Unfortunately I do have to disagree on the Greenlee though. Years ago Greenlee was decent, but now they’re just junk, it’s literally rebranded Klein tools, which yes I also believe are junk. Those strippers handles will slide off after probably 2-3 days of using them. The lineman’s are quite soft as well, obviously they aren’t really meant to cut screws, but I cut a #8-32 after a couple weeks of owning them and the blade chipped. And as far as the level goes, I’d stick with Stabila. Oh and for anyone looking for a good pair of lineman’s check out Marvel cross cuts.

I've been primarily using greenlee since I started. They had a discount through the school I was in so my parents got me the set. A few years ago I needed to replace a few tools that I lost/blew up and saw the 17pc set for $90-something on amazon. It was 100% mislabeled becasue the price was changed to what I'd expect under 30min after I purchased it.

You should try out the 95 05 20 shears I think it would be a great add on for side jobs or data cables

Why don’t you include Milwaukee in these comparison? I’ve been using them for electrical work for years and they hold up

Had a bunch of greenlee tools when I first started the trade.. all of the handles eventually start sliding off. The only tool I have left is their needle nose and I want to replace them at some point because the base of them is so thick you can hardly get into tight spaces. Overall not a good experience.

You need to try the green Lee MC cutters . Been using mines for years and they’re still going strong . If your in commercial MC cutters are a must they’re quick and legal to use so the inspector can’t say anything about them

If there's anything i know about GreenLee tools, they really are fond of their shit. I.E. They're expensive!

This hasn't been my experience. I think their Linesman Pliers are only like $24 here, and ive beaten the absolute dogshit out of mine, and they're still functionally as good as new. At half the price of Kleins.

Their prices are not high. They are generally lower than Klein.

Those water pumps are a carbon copy of the Doyle water pumps from Harbor Freight.

I'm glad that everyone started copying KNIPEX. And I feel proud to be a Knipex fan and own a surprising number of tools from them. And even if some company tries to copy Knipex, (and I see this more and more often) or a tool produced by Knipex, it will never have the same durability and quality material. Look at what Snap On produces lately and what a catastrophe it is, and that there are hundreds of complaints, like a pliers is broken, like a fixed socket wrenches is miscalibrated, plus that's why they don't want to consider replacing the part, even though they say they guarantee the tools. My opinion is that it's better to keep buying Knipex, than other nonsense.

Really curious to see how the water pumps compare to the Knipex Cobras.
