I met you many years ago as my two friends and I were exiting your exhibition at The Palace of the Legion of Honor in SF. You stood outside of the exit watching our faces as we left...a smile like a child. We spoke no words between us...I think that was the best way to meet one of my human idols (Koko is another big love of mine). Love you and all the aspects of your ever changing soul. Peace in times of doubt. be strong.
@@EastmanD I am so silly when it comes to celebrity (I experienced a minor sense of "being glommed over" when my best friends and I spent 1 school year having had locked ourselves into a stage closet of our school's (The Urban School of San Francisco...I received scholarships to help me go there) theatre, which billed itself separately from the school as "Gumption". One thing about Urban was it had the singular viewpoint that teenagers could be trusted to work on school projects when inspired by their own views, and one of the major projects of each students school year was to use the city as a research tool, ND after 6 months provide the rest of the school and the faculty with a 5 minute description of what they were working on. You could share a project with up to three others, but then you 4 were expected to fill 20 minutes of the children and (very smart) teacher's thinking time. I worked with my 3 other friend's on producing a rock band with a full 20 minutes of music and performance backed up by video collages of various anarchistic acts that we did around the financial district. I'm sorry that story went on so long. We ended up sounding a tiny bit like DEVO if they had only 6 months to prepare.and Eno video is supernally calming..lending an ancient of days, and long of beard "Now We Are 6ish" with Wisdom, Understanding, and lastly an abbyssally frightening sense of falling knitted into it's middle span... TRULY I HAVE TO SAY I LACK THE PATIENCE I ONCE POSSESSED for listening to purely ambient pieces...therefore i am grateful for the latest how can I say it "pseudo-ambient" fare. 💛💖💫🕳️💭
brian eno, your genius, your music, your work has inspired me, transformed me, has moved me. and i have shared your art with so many other souls. it too is the soundtrack to my dreams and dreamtimes. i can not thank you enough. bless your heart and your generosity. thank you in perpetuity.
@BrianEnoChannel - Brian, you are a master of harmonies and your pieces make our brain to vibrate in resonance, like if they were echos from lost ages. Thank you!
you are genie of musik Brian and your Sounds are in my soul....you are only and absolutely GREAT ....the Greatest Musicienne ...you are for me the best....
Amazing footage from NASA with Brian Eno's music. I find the slow transition from ground to space a fascinating and beautiful thing to watch. Our planet really is a rare and precious thing.
What unbridled excitement in awaiting the extended edition of Apollo: Atmospheres & Soundtracks." Out of all the new pieces this one has grasped me the most; a fitting ending and though not quite on the level of "An Ending Ascent" i am sure we will find this piece in movie soundtracks very soon. Hauntingly sublime. Brian is the Master of Liminality! My spiritual life can not live without his genius.
Another Masterpiece Mr Eno no one else combines the visual with the aural to create such splendor (the 'painting' of the women in a tub a while back) So mesmerising no one... Thank You
The chapters section of the film you composed the soundtrack for, (for all mankind), contains a background panoramic photo. Midway through the pan, clear and obvious architecture emerge. It is shocking and obviously wondrous.
everyone's talking about the ride wife, life good video but no one's talking about how this is the person who literally composed the windows 95 startup sound
ΛCIΔ According to Spotify, this track is from 1983. I HOPE Eno releases more videos like this one with the re-issue. ‘For All Mankind’ footage w/ Eno’s music didn’t seem like an Eno video. This one DOES!
I used to have a nice life. Me and wife settled down in a quiet, but pleasant town with 2 beautiful kids. I used to ride my wife a lot, life was good. Until my wife fought back. We fought all the time, and one day the fight got really bad and I accidentally killed her. My wife was gone. I spent weeks after that thinking about my wife. Only feeling pain, regret, and sorrow.
I think I just went up. This song just says up. But where's up? Up could be anywhere. How could have I known. Well no more school means no more friends. That's it. I hope we'll see each other. I hope. Or maybe not because. Where is UP? I need to think if you're actually going with me or not. But that's fine. My phone battery is gonna die anyways. Maybe we'll see each other next time, maybe,if not. I'll be up,just so you know. Unless you dont know where up is.
in one eno instant you know this is not just any synth sound - that frequency jumped right out of the limitations of my tiny little laptop speakers and turned my walls and bedsprings into frequency modulators! piss christ (with feathers!)

To say this is really good is a tragic understatement. This is one of the best new pieces of music I have heard in some time. Cheers gents.
Fantastic. We love this. It's amazing how the Apollo program has influenced so many musicians, including us. Thank you for this. #Apollo50

Is this from the original recording sessions for the Apollo album, or a newer piece? Or an old piece with updated sound?

Also original release has been remastered. Can't wait!
