This DLC turned me against synths, humans and Cults all in one fell swoop
This dlc made me love synths and hate the child of atoms
Just set the turrets up in front of the data stream and wait, they shoot through the red blocks and eventually they disappear. 😆

Everybody needs to like this, I gave it a shot. It takes a couple minutes but it worked like a charm. Set up all 5 turrets right next to the firewall and while you're going around fucking with the blocks mine disappeared. Simple as hell.
Also fuck these simulations.

2022 and I'm using this walkthrough playing far harbor for the first time 😂
If too hard or bugs are stopping you, and you want to save 3 or 4 hours
of your time try this. No need to use mod's that can crash the game.
If you are on PC you can create and run a bat file (or just use the game
consul) enter one line at a time, closing the consul after each line is
entered with the following lines:
setstage dlc03mq04 150
setstage dlc03mq04 250
setstage dlc03mq04 350
setstage dlc03mq04 450
setstage dlc03mq04 550
This will complete the puzzle stages and give you the five memory tapes.
You simply need to listen to each of them to activate the new quest map
markers.
This helped a great deal. I stumped myself trying to figure out an easy way to do it and was overlooking any other possibilities.

Setting up all your turrets at the edge of the firewall and having them shoot through the red blocks will cause them to disappear (upon hitting where the laser receiver block is)

My brain doesn't work like that. I never would have thought of that. The last firewall is where I got stuck and I messed around with it for nearly 2 hours on and off before I finally searched it and the first video I came across was of someone using the drone things and set them up right at the firewall surrounding the memory core and eventually it got shot out and he didn't have to do all of this other stuff I was like are you freaking serious. So I set mine up like that and just sat here and waited while I watched your video and I look up and eventually my firewall it was down but I finished watching your video anyway because I wanted to know how to do it and I never would have gotten your result.

These simulations were so terrible I couldn't wait for them to end easily the gayest mission fallout ever made. I hated getting those stupid ass bugs to their destinations. Every simulation was like pulling teeth, man were they terrible! Don't get me wrong I still love far harbor it's a solid dlc but man if anyone from Bethesda ever reads this comment please never put anything like these simulations in another fallout game ever. FUCK THEY WERE TERRIBLE!
I agree this quest was a fucking nightmare. Spent like 3 hours with this bullshit and got to the end and I'm short a decoder. No idea where it is or how to get it.
Type the console: "TCL" And you can fly. Type again" TCL" fly is off.

Took back my like. You were great on the first four. Why the fuck did you go at high speed at 2:20 to 2:40? Tried to follow it as best I could then about over half way through I find Im screwed. Beam isnt shooting through like on yours. Now I gotta figure out how to start this as reset and follow another you tuber. Thanks for making a horse's ass out of me.

I have a missing decorder relay! Is a bug?
Had one missing too or i lost it.. I had to go to an earlier save.. Restart the entire thing from the start. Just go slow and keep storing everything..
+REBB yes... But im playing in survival, i cant reload because in my last checkpoint i was far away from the nucleus... I just return to the start of the puzzle and after 1 hour i finally found it hahaha :,D
