Sheikh Ahmed Deedat:
In 1986, the King Faisal Foundation awarded the King Faisal International Prize for SERVICE TO ISLAM, to a South African who is more or better known than many dignitaries in their own countries. This was the first time that this prestigious award has been awarded to a South African. The recipient of this award was a man totally dedicated to his faith and its propagation and who was not afraid to challenge any one to a debate to settle once and for all the matter, who has the good news right? He was none other than Sheikh Ahmed Deedat, reverently known and called UNCLE by those who hold him in high esteem and admiration.
The award came after a lifetime of struggle to propagate Islam and to defend Islam against the onslaught of the missionaries. Finally, he was given recognition by the international Muslim community that he deserved and focused more sharply the attention of the Muslim world on the most important aspect of his work, the challenge to propagate Islam. This was his life long ambition to focus the Muslim world's attention and resources on the propagation of Islam, and at last he succeeded. What a moment of jubilation, achievement and personal gratification for Sheikh Deedat the award was, a turning point in his life.
Sheikh Deedat did not have much formal schooling, but he was self-taught through experience and a penchant for reading, debating, discussion, and a profound sense of commitment to a mission and goal. He was driven and goal oriented. He was focused and never let up until the job was done. He was sharp, perceptive, forthright, fiery, and daring in his challenge of those whom he debated, particularly against those who equal his missionary zeal and sense of audacity. Formal schooling did not destroy his creative prowess, his tenacity, ambition, drive, and sheer daring to swim upstream.
Sheikh Deedat was more a scholar of the Bible than the Qur'an, and was more familiar and adroit with its teachings. He had an insight and perspective of the Bible which made many Christians he came into contact with rethink and re-examine their faith, particularly those aspects of the Bible and the Qur'an that deal with the divine mission and life of Prophet Jesus.
On May 3, 1996, Sheikh Ahmed Deedat suffered a stroke which left him paralyzed from the neck down, and also meant that he could no longer speak or swallow. He was flown to a hospital in Riyadh, where he was taught to communicate through a series of eye-movements. He spent the last nine years of his life in a bed in his home in Verulam, South Africa, encouraging people to engage in da'wah. He continued to receive hundreds of letters of support from around the world. During these years, rumors spread throughout the Internet that he was already dead, and even some websites that contained his pamphlets mentioned as early as 2002 that he was dead.
On August 8, 2005, Ahmed Deedat finally succumbed to his prolonged illness and died at his home in Trevennen Road, Verulam in the province of KwaZulu Natal.
I have been living in the middle of catholic christians since I was a kid, many christians came to visit me to debate on islamic issues and their religions. Since I do not know how to debate, I just kept quiet. The next day they had their sunday mass at their church and made announcement to the mass that I was loss in the debate yesterday. But after watching Ahmad Deedats videos, I debated with them well armed with Ahmad Deedat's points and two of theirs catholic followers converted to islam. Deedat's videos were very useful.

Read John6:44-47. Jesus said ".... not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. Most assuredly I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life".
Deedat didnot see Jesus nor believes in Him thats why he has already being condemned and lost eternal life. John3:16-18.
Even you also if you follow his deception you will fall in the same pit of hell. Repent and read more thoroughly by yourself the Bible dont just believe in whatever the false teacher said.
Jesus was not a prophet becoz Prophets used to proohesies about others not about himself. But Jesus spoke by Himself dor Himself and for His future judgement when He will cone back.
He revealed His nature to the world. He became flesh not to sin like human but to show the way out of sin. He revealed His Godly nature of His Father who was one with Him who have love for His creations. He even make way for sinners to have eternal life thru believing in Him and the Father God. Jesus didnot said He was God becoz He said He and the Father are One, without the Father Jesus can't claim God Himself He was the image of the invisible God that the world would see God in Him.
Every bit of Mr.Deedat (Rah) lectures is a masterpiece.

@@brytonmasaire5542 I listen, then I listen again and again. I love Deedat and his one verse quotes and leave out the main parts.. I listen and then do research.. Read the verses he quoted and read from the books it came from and read all the verses in that chapter and make my conclusion from what Deedat has said what the verses said and corresponding verses talk about ... I read it in context and also look it up from the tools of modern technology.. I wish Deedat had the opportunity, ability and knowledge to do what he did in his time.... Shame he would have run and hid like Zaiker Naik, Mohammed Hijab, Yasir Qadi, Adnan, Mansur is on social media one way now... They are all trying to fix the problems caused by Yasir Qadi and Mohammed Hijab about the holes in the Quran... The preservation theory has been raptured, by Atun and Jay Smith also.. They brought 26 or 36 different Quran and showed us at speakers corner and listed some of the variations in them.. I can go on and on and on and on...

Most of ADeedat videos I watched in the 1970ies but I missed this one. To be frank, when I watched his videos most of my questions that my christians friend asked were answered by Deedat. Since then, I dare to stand up and speak up to discuss and debate with the christians.

Adam he created/fashion into His Own(Gods) image by the mixing of the water and dust which became mud and God blow into Adam and life entered Adam. God didn't say Adam to be. Then God put Adam to sleep and took out One of Adam's rib to create Eve.. Yep God is Almighty meaning He can do all things if He wants to. If he was lucky enough to be crucified along with Jesus like one of the criminal on the cross. Deedat would have request Jesus to reserve for him a seat in heaven. But unfortunately he didnot meet even the resurrected Jesus to beg for it.
Anyway Allah was his hope becoz Allah was busy he never rest nor sleep so he will engage Deedat in the grave with his prophet.

AL Jeezera news in July 2018 announced that 16000 a day, 666.66666 a hour, 11.1111 a minute and 0.185 a second are leaving Islam. One of the the main reasons being the difference in the way the teachers Imams and the so called scholars of Islam are teaching. Different scholars, different translations and interpretations. The internet and tools of modern technology are the most important form to expose the lies of the liars.. Pakistani, Indonesiand, and many many more countries have recorded the decline in numbers of Muslims not attending... Especially young people.. Yasir Qadi also said that it is a concern for Islam and Mohammed Hijab from speakers corner shouted and blamed the Imams, teachers, leaders and Islamic parents for the decline and the leaving of the Islamic youngest.. The criminal on the cross who accepted Jesus as Son of God was made holy and was rewarded with the paradise by Jesus at that same day. But Deedat could not expect paradise because he was mocking against Jesus just like the other criminal who mock Jesus.

He blaspheme the Holy Spirit saying that it was Muhammad who was the Holy Spirit
Without the Holy Spirit no one will see Jesus as Son of God, the disciples were doubting Him thsts why even though they were with Him for 3half yrs during His ministry they could not see Him as God. But onle after Jesus resurrected and gave them the Holy Spirit that their eyes were open to see Him as God's Son thats why they were empowered to preach and perform miracles as Jesus had promised them. Only those who accept Jesus in their heart can see the truth of Jesus, even Jesus had already predicted to His disciples that the Holy Spirit will come and will lead them to all truth read chp 14-16 of John.

Abba Macarius said, ‘Walking in the desert one day, I found the skull of a dead man, lying on the ground. As I was moving it with my stick, the skull spoke to me. I said to it, “Who are you?” The skull replied, “I was high priest of the idols and of the pagans who dwelt in this place; but you are Macarius, the Spirit-bearer. Whenever you take pity on those who are in torments, and pray for them, they feel a little relief.” The old man said to him, “What is this relief, and what is this torment?” He said to him, “As far as the sky is removed from the earth, so great is the fire beneath us; we are ourselves standing in the midst of the fire, from the feet up to the head. It is not possible to see anyone face to face, but the face of one is fixed to the back of another. Yet when you pray for us, each of us can see the other’s face a little. Such is our relief.” The old man in tears said, “Alas the day when that man was born!” He said to the skull, “Are there punishments which are more painful than this?” The skull said to him, “There is a more grievous punishment down below us.” The old man said, “Who are the people down there?” The skull said to him: “We have received a little mercy since we did not know Jesus, but those who know Jesus and denied Him are down below us.” Then, picking up the skull, the old man buried it.

I would really really love to see someone who is going to be able to step up and Insha Allah and continue to do the critical work that Ahmed Deedat, may Allah swt Bless him with Jannah, did but, with the same patience and the same all around character as he had. I’m talking about the truth of the matter concerning the vicious assault that has been launched against Islam since he has been gone is ridiculous. حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لإِسْحَاقَ - قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ مَا رَأَيْتُ شَيْئًا أَشْبَهَ بِاللَّمَمِ مِمَّا قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَتَبَ عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ حَظَّهُ مِنَ الزِّنَى أَدْرَكَ ذَلِكَ لاَ مَحَالَةَ فَزِنَى الْعَيْنَيْنِ النَّظَرُ وَزِنَى اللِّسَانِ النُّطْقُ وَالنَّفْسُ تَمَنَّى وَتَشْتَهِي وَالْفَرْجُ يُصَدِّقُ ذَلِكَ أَوْ يُكَذِّبُهُ " . قَالَ عَبْدٌ فِي رِوَايَتِهِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ .
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying: Verily Allah has fixed the very portion of adultery which a man will indulge in, and which he of necessity must commit. The adultery of the eye is the lustful look, and the adultery of the tongue is the licentious speech, the heart desires and yearns, which the parts may or may not put into effect.
