MOST GREAT ROCK SONGS DELIVER AN EMOTION... pausing to often interrupts the emotional roller coaster that a band like PF provides. BUT, THIS IS A REACTION... so you must pause a little, BUT... as long as you are respecting the emotion being conveyed (& rewinding like you said), it's ok. I hate when people interrupt just to say "this song sounds like a video game or a movie"... that is not respecting the emotion of the song.
There is nothing sacred about a recording of a guitar solo. If they want to hear it without interruption, they can go listen to it alone. Re: live vs studio. This is harder to gauge because some songs or entire bands are better in the studio and some songs/bands are better live. This performance wasn't great and the studio version is much better, but maybe not worth a 2nd react. Pink Floyd does make great music, but I don't think they put on a good show, so I like their studio stuff better, personally.
I've just noticed that a lot of the comments are talking about people upsetting you and saying not to change how you react. I really hope I've not upset you in anyway. I know I've pestered you about Ren but that's only because I love the way you react to songs.

@@Penguinlust1313 I saw the Animal's tour. Pulse was 20 years after the album came out. Roger Waters had left the band 10 years earlier. There were more people not in Pink Floyd playing than real Pink Floyd members. I hear Brit Floyd sounds more like the real band.
