99% that play objective games probably never heard of tdm before. they dont even know what an objective is. all they do, is play like it was tdm. and you the one that plays the objective is getting a free loss. FUCKING LOVE IT!
Hey Ace, you've become my favorite COD RUclipsr over the last several months and I gotta say this video has helped me. I've really tried to stay focused and use the tips you've given and I've improved a lot. I used to be a 1.3 K/D player and now I've raised my K/D to 1.74 and rising! Thanks Ace.
Dude, the advice to stay closer to the edge of the map is great. I'm so tired of getting shot in the back and your advice really helps. First match i tried it i finished with 24:3 k/d ratio.
Great video ace. My only tip for staying alive would be to know when to back off and not challenge. Plenty of times I have put 2 bullets into someone as they ran around a corner or into a doorway and gave chase only to die because they found cover and posted up. Sometimes you just have to let them go and hope for an assist. Same goes when you get tagged and try to peek out and challenge when you are hurt or unsure where it came from , most of the time it doesn't work out. Also remember a fair fight is never a favorable one.
For myself it's the phase shift with the trait perception, being able to put yourself in difficult situations but then being able to see if an enemy is aiming at you is very helpful for myself and has helped me many times before
It's literally funny when you compare one of XclusiveAce's videos to someone like greengoblonHD. Both posted a video on similar topics today and Access video has so much more content and is so in depth. As always, great vid Ace!
Also spawns in IW have been really crazy. When looking at where my teammates are, I will still get shot in the back. It's not even because my teammates weren't able to kill that guy in our spawn, but more like he was in one of the 6 hallways that I didn't check
KL Havoc spawns in this game are determined by where teammates are not where enemies are not. So an enemy was probably close to you and they all spawned there.
Hasnain Khan It just seems a bit off compared to the older cods. Just something I haven't gotten used to completely but am working on it :D. Just another part of the game
Good stuff Ace. I love how you make people create there own builds instead of saying heres what I got. It helps viewers become better players overall experimenting.
I got to say this guy has the best videos. One reason is for the info and two I don't want to bang my head on my desk by the end of the video. Some videos get so annoying when the information is low and bluster high.
Agree with everything you say completely, although when I use FTL jump I think it's better with perception. Basically your HUD pulses yellow when an enemy is targeting you, when they're not on your screen of course. For me the little payload packages on the floor are more of a risk, especially when you get your FTL jump after about 45 seconds without them. The amount of times perception has saved my ass when a guy is chasing me and I just turn on him, it's really satisfying
I find it helpful to not run around the whole map searching for kills. I find that I get more kills if I mentally break the map into thirds, choose one of those thirds to control. Push one direction for a few and maybe peak around a few corners, then go back the other way. This seems to prevent a lot of sneak attacks and give my eyes only a certain amount of map to have to scan over. Running around the whole map give your eyes too much to have to take in. Great video by the way, very helpful
Don't understand how people play core in this game. Every time I shoot someone in core first and put at least 2-3 bullets in them, they turn around and kill me like I didn't even shoot them in the first place. It's just way too inconsistent. Hardcore is much more satisfying in my opinion.
that is crazy to me. You die fast. So if you are giving the enemy enough time to realize they are taking damage, turn all the way around, find your, take aim and fire.. you obviously are missing alot
I started playing 3 months ago. I've learn the following.. learn the stick/move controller or use scuf, chose Synaptic and then equip propulsion. You'll win majority of your engagements.
I reckon Phantom is pretty underrated. I run Pulsar and Rearguard. Marked For Death does nothing in HC as there is no regen and Heightened Senses only works if you camp with a sniper. Pulsar lets you visualise enemies and gives you time to prepare before they even see you coming so you can preaim quicker. Not many people run hardwired because they either soundwhore with dead silence or run around with gungho. Rearguard gives you the safety net of not being shot or knifed in the back. It completely prevents backstabs and it's an extra 1-2 bullets before it actually is broken. And you can hear it when you get shot in the back so you can turn around and shoot the guy. Blind Eye is a must as well. So many people run Stryker turrets. I always shoot them whenever i see them because of the points as well as saving my team. Blind Eye also blocks Vultures and Wardens. Blind Eye and Ghost is a good combo for Perk 1
If you've mastered the game style but still going negative, it is most likely your aim. Your aim may put 2-3 shots on your enemies fast but if they hit all 4/5 shots on you it doesn't matter. I was, and by stats (they take a while to change) a .5 KD player last week and I didn't know what I was doing wrong but I just made sure I was actually connecting all my shots and I am going for 1.2-2.5 KD 'most' games. I still get wrecked with a 10-20 game every so often but 1.5KDs come regularly without too much effort. Just a tip, coz I was shit for the longest time.
great video and tips. I love Merc, I personally use him the majority of the time. I have been really enjoying IW and have had my best start to any COD I've every played
Great vid Ace. Can you make a video on the attachment Foregrip or on what attachments to put on SMGS or ARs? Apparently the Foregrip is broken as it has no effect on most weapons and sometimes even increases the recoil of some weapons. Like this so Ace can see
Just want to say thanks ! No matter how many of this kind of video you make i still watch them over and over to keep it fresh in my mind and it works for me . So thank you for being a kind smart and all around helpful person . Good job keep it up #ACE_CLAN
U forgot to mention fusion mag attachment as a viable option. synaptic rewind to heal and give u extra ammo. With propulsion for extra boost in any direction/situation.
+Shane Prestidge it does go on the path you moved, but in this situation you strafed legt and right, so it took you left and then again right because you were there before. You should have moved a longer way to the left.
I've been watching you since you only had a few hundred subs way back when. thank you for staying you and keeping up with consistent quality content. Could you make a shotgun tips video? or do you think they're pure trash in this game? they feel terrible
Grounded is an interesting exception. It's laid out completely different to all of the other maps in the game and need to be treated differently because of that. With the first gameplay you'll notice I went to mid-map once all game and I almost got myself killed doing it!
Good tips another thing is map movement which you might go for areas where you are sure no enemy will get from behind you know sometimes you can use the ftl with perception
Super impressive ace. I completely agree with these. It's weird though because play style has to be a bit different between BO3 and IW. BO3 you could play a bit riskier and more push than pull. But I feel IW is better for more pull because of the map designs and because of the ttk/slow healing. Gotta adapt to the game too. Something I've been struggling with since the game came out, but slowly getting better at controlling it.
The current meta. Majority of players are scared and run ghost / suppressors because of the small maps and bad spawns. It's actually funny watching pros/pubstomps play domination. They go to cap a side flag but loop around the area to make sure people aren't spawning near the objective either in the back spawn or in front of the flag.
Spawns are still being tweaked. I'm not going to spend dozens of hours making videos that will become obsolete within a month. They will come but not likely until right around Christmas time.
I like using warfighter with combat focus and resupply amd a personal uav tac it makes it easy to find enemies and resupply allows you to restock them so you almost always know where enemies are
Just subscribed awesome video will be sure to use those tips. I'm getting plenty of kills but far to many deaths, hopefully this should help. Keep up the good work.
Over all this a good video but missed out on a few key points. Instead of running scavenger you can run man at arms (trait on the merc) this allows you not to slow down your movement no matter what gun you use and also gives you full ammo allowing you not having to play so aggressive because you don't need to grab scavenger packs. This also allows you to use a different perk like hardline getting your streaks a lot faster. With that being said score streaks that are the best streaks for people trying to build kdr would be a mix of these 3 (cuav, uav, drone package, and warden) drone package is easily the best thing in the game what is the worst thing you'll get a scarab or a vulture? vs the best you'll get apx or a c8 (which would easily get you 10+ kills) One major thing I would add is get a feel of the maps not one gun will dominate all maps. Especially on certain maps. Some have smaller closer quater areas so you want to use a sub, pistol, or shotgun instead of a lmg, ar, or sniper and vis versa. I can go more indepth but I don't want to bore you guys keep that win/lose and kdr high.
I just chill while I'm playing and I get a good gun setup I like and play aggressively but not too aggressively and I pays off because I have a high k/d and in most the games I play I have fun and do well which makes it even more fun. :)
Some of these tips are generic but I wanted to complement you on the game play. It is a great example of what you are talking about plus some unstoppable metals!!!
Great video ace! Do you know if you'll be down the 'breakdown' series for IW/MW4 remastered? Your gameplay analysis for bo3 put my average k/d up from 1.12 to 1.85 :)
Here's a quick question.. if u pick up a variant weapon do you get the benefits the variant has for that player or will it be yours? Can u get a de automizer strike when u don't have the Nv-4 fallout with a picked up nv-4 fallout?
Thanks man for always sharing tips on improving KD both in Black Ops 3 and now in IW. what was your sensitivity for black ops 3 and IW, I wanted to see the difference? Thanks again man #KeepItup 🎮👍
Check every corner...pre-aim a lot! Move on the map as him...I mean don't go to the middle that often (until you're confident enough)! Stick with your team mates pleaase lol! Always pay attention to your mini-map...I watch my mini-map almost 10000000000 times between before blinking again lol! If you know how to use your mini-map you'll be most of the time ready! It tells you where the ennemies are AND if you look closely, you'll know where your team mates are looking at so you'll be ready to aim where they're not (and have their backs at the same time...If they die you'll notice it and know exactly where the enemy is)! And watch his videos on how to improve your aim...etc..you'll get better! ;)
Thanks mate! One day I'll probably need some help too, hopefully you'll be here! Lol! Great to know people like you are around down the comments as well ;)
based on this clip, this show that if u dont have SCUF controller and such, u are to be in HUGE disadvantages in this game,...this is why COD nowadays become polarizing in term of player base and skills,...
Play claw or use a stick & move/bumper jumper layout and you can achieve the same result. Also, that type of movement isn't necessary, it just opens up options for you. I could adjust my playstyle and keep my boots on the ground to find similar success but I simply enjoy the faster paced, jumpy sort of style.
I'm getting destroyed in this game so far. Just getting melted with no chance in head to heads. I'm very often negative K/D and win/loss. I did well in BO3 and AW. I have had to switch to a sniper in matches just to have a chance to get a one hit kill. I like your vids though. Better content and info than most for sure.
3 things to keep in mind bro: 1. It takes time for muscle memory to get your shot down. I can tell for sure the aim is different than black ops 3 because my hipfire isn't on point in this game. Just give it time. 2. Likewise it takes time to learn the maps and get a feel for the spawns. Few players hit new shooters running. Most people really hit a good stride after playing a few days and getting comfortable with the maps, spawns, guns, new situations for muscle memory to get used to countering. 3. The feel of the game may be much like black ops but its really not. Faster ttk and a different spawn system means you have to go about playing it differently. What I mean is I would wreck people in black ops 3. But I did a lot of running back and forth from one spawn to the other. Killing and then continuing to run. You can't do that in this game. You have to play SLOWER. The gun fights are played about the same but its after a gun fight you have to NOT RUN and instead chill and pre-aim looking for the next guy. Move around the map slower and you'll find more success. Hope this helps :)
Does thrust jumping on IW show on the minimap just as it did in black ops 3? Also, after falling from a height do you sustain damage like in black ops 3?
Thank you very much for this video. I used your tactics in black ops 3 and vastly improved my KD. I will apply the same tactics with modifications of course for infinite warfare. Amazing gameplay and tactics almost looks to easy for you. Any tips and tricks for hardcore tdm? Because that's a video I'd pay to see. Thanks again and keep up the great videos. Ninja InThe Rye on Xbox One PRxR. Infantry leads the way!
Hey ace I'm struggling with this game I currently have Astro a40 tr .. for some reason I can't here enemy footsteps like I do in black ops 3?? Any suggestions please cod is where I do most of my gaming and I don't want to give up on the game?? Any tips on the settings or headsets.. which headset do u use ???
There was a few situations where you "Power forwarded" like u where 50 Yards away from ur target and then u where infront of the enemy within a second where do I get that ?
12:33 poor enemy, he was so clueless
99% that play objective games probably never heard of tdm before. they dont even know what an objective is. all they do, is play like it was tdm. and you the one that plays the objective is getting a free loss. FUCKING LOVE IT!
Revengefighter1 that makes no sense at all. how could they not know what tdm is if they play it all the time
i said they play like it.
You are right about that shit pisses me off
watching since bo3 and youre the best cod resource imo. i appreciate your vids
omedakreyi agree
omedakreyi i agree too and he deserves way more subs
Thanks for the support!
TheXclusiveAce you are really close to 2 hundred thousand
Good video, indeed. But, you can do whatever you want, if there is a good player in the enemy team, you will die at least a few times.
Thanks Ace.

Happened all the time to me as well. Trust me when I say it's your aim. Try strafing to activate aim assist.
lol there are no assault riflesso or smgs that tale 3 shoot mille lol noob
zarbinder Hardcore just cuts out all the BS lol i love HCTDM
I started playing 3 months ago. I've learn the following.. learn the stick/move controller or use scuf, chose Synaptic and then equip propulsion. You'll win majority of your engagements.
don't sprint around corners and time your reloads

Great vid Ace. Can you make a video on the attachment Foregrip or on what attachments to put on SMGS or ARs? Apparently the Foregrip is broken as it has no effect on most weapons and sometimes even increases the recoil of some weapons. Like this so Ace can see
Haha! That last FTL jump at the end where you got about 4 kills and ended with a melee hit was awesome lol ;)
That push pull concept is gold. And you articulated that very well and was very easy to grasp. How are you so good at explaining?👍 Lol
Thanks Ace, just saw this and wow! I went 28/9 thanks keep up the hard Work!
Bro your channel is so fucking underrated you literally have helped me improve on every cod for years and I know I'm not the only one
Just want to say thanks ! No matter how many of this kind of video you make i still watch them over and over to keep it fresh in my mind and it works for me . So thank you for being a kind smart and all around helpful person . Good job keep it up #ACE_CLAN
This strategy works. This is the playstyle I had in BO3 when I averaged a 5.7 K/D in TDM.
U forgot to mention fusion mag attachment as a viable option. synaptic rewind to heal and give u extra ammo. With propulsion for extra boost in any direction/situation.
but it refills your ammo completely, so you don't have to run scavenger when using this!
+Shane Prestidge it does go on the path you moved, but in this situation you strafed legt and right, so it took you left and then again right because you were there before. You should have moved a longer way to the left.
I love your vids at the beginning of the cod cycle
You can use the Synaptic combat rig and stick to the high ground with propulsion and use rewind to avoid a gun fight or to get more ammo
I've been watching you since you only had a few hundred subs way back when. thank you for staying you and keeping up with consistent quality content.
Could you make a shotgun tips video? or do you think they're pure trash in this game? they feel terrible
Dude, thanks for making this video. I think this is going to help me a lot with gameplay
thanks for your advices ! noone can complain about Iw by following this strategy ! :D
Ace have my babies
Jk dude keep up the good work you're the best cod youtuber I hope u never go clickbait lol
That joker camo looks awesome!
my 1st rule when im playing cod is have fun K/D second
Every time he says stick to the edges of the map but runs directly through the middle of the map I get so annoyed
Grounded is an interesting exception. It's laid out completely different to all of the other maps in the game and need to be treated differently because of that. With the first gameplay you'll notice I went to mid-map once all game and I almost got myself killed doing it!
+TheXclusiveAce Do you know when the aiming drill will be made?
TheXclusiveAce what's ur nv4 flatline class and also how good is it? because I really want it!
allan lawrence
Almost a week ago ruclips.net/video/1NhGai1iLJM/видео.html
samuel galarza
It changes a lot but I always run a suppressor! It's great at longer ranges but outclassed at close to mid range by the base NV4
Yea the way he was hopping HIGH IN THE SKY is crazy
"Enemy AC130 ABOVE!!!"
Good tips another thing is map movement which you might go for areas where you are sure no enemy will get from behind you know sometimes you can use the ftl with perception
Nice tips, I'll try them out. I really want to get my first ever nuke in any cod and these will help
Super impressive ace. I completely agree with these. It's weird though because play style has to be a bit different between BO3 and IW. BO3 you could play a bit riskier and more push than pull. we need the spawn videos ace! haha
Spawns are still being tweaked. I'm not going to spend dozens of hours making videos that will become obsolete within a month. They will come but not likely until right around Christmas time.
I felt like a decent player on BO3, but I'm terrible in this game.
Robert Rodriguez me too
Thanks Ace always appreciate the videos. I need to start putting some game time in so I can learn these new maps.
I like using warfighter with combat focus and resupply amd a personal uav tac it makes it easy to find enemies and resupply allows you to restock them so you almost always know where enemies are
As far as Rig setups and staying alive is concerned, I really like using FTL with Phase Shift and Perception.
this is so well explained vid, your tips have helped me a lot
I just started playing infinite warfare and I wasn't that good but ur tips helped me thx btw u just earned a sub
great content. subbed. would like to see in depth vid on the recoil characteristics for ar, smg and lmg.
You my friend have earned a subscriber!!
I love the amount of videos you put out when the game first comes out. Or maybe the type lol. Still not sure how you get dislikes on any videos.
Finally I found a guy who knows his stuff
As always ACE great job!
Just subscribed awesome video will be sure to use those tips. I'm getting plenty of kills but far to many deaths, hopefully this should help. Keep up the good work.
you can use a button layout called stick and move where u jump with r3 so u can aim and boost without having to leave ur thumbstick to press x or a
Are you gonna do that one "How not to rage video?" Lol the BO3 Thumbnail was amazing good video btw
Great video. This is very thorough
Over all this a good video but missed out on a few key points. Instead of running scavenger you can run man at arms (trait on the merc) this allows you not to slow down your movement no matter what gun you use and also gives you full ammo allowing you not having to play so aggressive because you don't need to grab scavenger packs. I just chill while I'm playing and I get a good gun setup I like and play aggressively but not too aggressively and I pays off because I have a high k/d and in most the games I play I have fun and do well which makes it even more fun. :)

When you push too hard, it's gone be very painfull.
What about the spawns Ace? Are you going to do a spawn guide? The spawns in IW are crazy. Most of my deaths are shots in the back.
Here's a quick question.. if u pick up a variant weapon do you get the benefits the variant has for that player or will it be yours? Can u get a de automizer strike when u don't have the Nv-4 fallout with a picked up nv-4 fallout?
PurpleJesus15 Yes And yes :)
Thanks man for always sharing tips on improving KD both in Black Ops 3 and now in IW. what was your sensitivity for black ops 3 and IW, I wanted to see the difference? Thanks again man #KeepItup 🎮👍
I actually really like IW. It's not great, but it's pretty good. I mainly bought it for MWRA but both games turned out to be pretty fun.
@2:23 when you spent all your salvage on the ERAD Cyclopean and couldn't afford .223 Remington ammo for the NV4.
thank you for not having a 2 minute intro like others lol
Just in case if you didn't know, FTL means "Faster Than light"
I got 50 kills but I died quite a few times I will use your tips thanks bro !!!!
That really helped thanks ace
Nice video, thanks! Any tips for those without the superlative gun skill you display in your videos?
Check every corner...pre-aim a lot! Move on the map as him...I mean don't go to the middle that often (until you're confident enough)! Stick with your team mates pleaase lol! Thanks mate! One day I'll probably need some help too, hopefully you'll be here! Lol! Great to know people like you are around down the comments as well ;)
It's a rarity for sure
SidsonAidson thanks, man! I do check the minimap but not nearly enough
Shoots enemy in the back. "Thanks ace, garunteed win." *gets turned on* "fuck you ace."
great tips as always 👍

Nep-tune Sama I can play with or without scuf controller no matter what. Say if I sent my scuf for repair I can still beast without it
+Nep-tune Sama
Lol no.
3 things to keep in mind bro:
Mr. Hat During bo3 I did what u said (not run after a killing) so will it help when I get Iw
Great tips!! Old kd 1.33 new kd 2.21
