Love the magazine idea it definitely helps with the creativity and info of what’s going on within the league. I’m in a CFM right now and one of the things we like to do is relocate our teams but we’re tired of the same teams since M17. So an idea I had as a compromise from the community to EA and the NFL would be to have the cities and team names pre chosen by the NFL and EA since that would help control their brand. But give us like 10 uniform designs for helmet, jersey, pants and socks to mix and match. We could choose the primary, secondary and tertiary color to edit those preset designs and it would allow an easier transition into a fully customizable relocation team. EA has a great system on NHL18 for creating a team and could be put into Madden one day but it’s the NFL that is stopping them from my understanding. I think that is a fair compromise to solve the lack of creativity allowed in the new games. They could use the designs and colors in MUT as unlockables after completing challenges also for those players. Your thoughts?
If EA really cared they would use actual RUclipsrs who make great game suggestions like this one, instead of using RUclipsrs who suck madden every chance they get.
Nba live 19 they had youtubers in the one it's just madden is controlled by the nfl. Also the new head for madden doesnt care about the fan base he is just a guy with a job he doesn't care about the game like rex did

I like this idea for future maddens but I think there are more important features to work on right now
1. the prospect scouting system is terrible (which you already covered)
2. we need more coaches (offensive & defensive coordinators, special teams coaches etc, whether they are real or fake names)
3. they need a new simulation generator (less ties, 5-11 teams shouldn’t be getting the #1 pick, 10-6 teams shouldn’t be the #1 seed)
4. better ai logic (1st round qb’s available in the 3rd round, should be drafting in positions of need)
5. the regression system is very flawed, certain positions should age differently, and certain types of players should age differently (for example running backs should start going downhill once they hit 30, while too offensive lineman usually play at high level usually until their 30’s) I also feel that most players regress too early and too fast
6. I also think there is a lot for ea to use what nba2k does in my league, for example they have four different rankings for teams (contending, buying, selling, or rebuilding) and based on where a team stands, players and draft picks are valued differently (for example: contending teams will value high overall aging veterans more than a 2nd round pick, but rebuilding teams will value a 2nd round pick more than a high overall aging veteran)
I know that was a lot, but I really hope these are some things that ea adds to cfm over the years

I wish all this was gonna be on madden 20 but most likely just a roster update and a few new animations smh didn’t even buy madden 19 rented it but own 18 and there’s no real differences ppl just need to sit out a year or 2 if any real changes are gonna be made gotta apply pressure

I took a break from madden for like 4 years and this is my first game back with 19. I don't mind it
your always on point. it's unfortunate that Tiburon don't care about none of this. even more sad madden is the only game that the consumer has to make mock ups for the game. very sad state of football gaming.
One the main things I want out of Franchise mode, and it might seem like a little thing or impossible to do, but I want the commentary to talk about things like my player's statistics, league leaders, MVP race, etc. during the games. I want a more specific, immersive experience that gives life to what I'm doing on the field.
Madden has had a major immersion problem for as long as I can remember now but after playing many hours of Red Dead 2, Madden looks even more antiquated an uninteresting than it did before.
I keep holding out hope that one day this game will be at the top in innovation but unfortunately I don’t see that happening.
I think a way to totally improve the experience is to have your player drive around in a car to get to destinations. Something like a GTA style where you get an apartment, if you wanna train, drive your car to the facility or something like that. I know this is not a driving game, so that feature should be able to be turned off, but I think it would be more immersive that way. BTW I am starting a channel soon so please check it out.

I like this idea because we actually had cribs in previous games so this idea could be something they could definitely look into imagine coming home to your crib and your girlfriend is on the couch watching ESPN seeing and hearing them talk trash about your performance on the field it's gonna make you wanna play the game mode and make your player better so you can change the narrative about your player so i like that idea you should also be able to recruit potential free agents like players your acctually friends with and build your own super team

yes! killer ideas bro. i’ve been pondering hard too. this mode has needed more rpg elements for a while. i’ve even been thinking of ways your players could give media responses and maybe it affects crowd noise in upcoming games and stuff like that too. i have a ton of ideas but keep em comin man we need a change!

More thought and care put into this 11 minute video than EA has done in the last 5 years of Madden...
Yes we need that. Also we need post game and pre game press conferences. And to see players you draft walk out on the stage for that nfl experience to build that bond with the players you draft. Story line through practice (like you can see practice players starting to grow through practice to add them to your game roster). Pro bowl games for players who’s in them like in real life with the Dodgeball Game. Show where you meet with a player to go over his contract or for free agents.
I use to love the Bruno show and the newspapers that would predict every teams record in the pre season
You should be able to create your own uniforms for relocated teams plus you should be able to relocate anywhere
Great suggestions - in sports sims immersion is everything.
This is honestly the most important part that franchise is lacking. I never feel like I'm in an NFL world when playing franchise. This would be a gamechanger for immersion.
Another nice feature could be of, in the news feed or a new tab that could be strictly related to draft/scouting, players that are still not eligible or just got out of hs are higlighted as future stars, and they appear in future draft classes. Also, would be nice if some players in the scouting list would decide to come back to college, and reappear in future drafts.

You the man that would mean so much to CFM. And talking about the lastest key injuries to the major players and they need team history for all teams like on NCAA 14 so we kan keep track of all teams and what each team has done over the kourse of our CFM

I keep bringing up they need to do something to that horrid news feed. I don't think the Devs understand what CFM guys mean when we say we want the mode to be more immersive. The majority of time if a CFM guy says he wants the mode to be more immersive it's that he wants the mode to more easily deliver news from around the league to help it feel more like a living world, and not "Oh man I can see Doug Marrone ordering himself a artisan Bologna sandwich. He's drawing up them gameplans that our offense is too trash to execute..." Sorry kinda getting off topic. I'm a Jags fan, so... yeah. Even like Madden 25 had a better looking news feed. All I want is a news feed that gives me useful information that I don't have to dig through the menu to get to and doesn't look like unorganized trash. The magazine idea is amazing honestly because just how much information you can fit in it.

Really good ideas here, EA needs to work on the game logic just as simulation, trades, signings, drafting. I don’t want to see in the news feed that the Chiefs are targeting a Quarterback in the draft or that Alvin Kamara got traded for Jacoby Brisset. I feel like EA could just easily find a way to mess this up. Great video btw love the ideas!

Madden 20 ideas
Franchise
1. Add personality, hometown, and life experience/background . If there personality was crazy, then they would be more prone to doing something stupid that hurts there reputation, performance, and your reputation(owner and coach since if you keep them it hurts you) Hometown influences free Agency as if your closer to there home town they might pick you over a better team, and vis Versa. Also depending on where there from (from small town to metropolis) will effect personality (if you lived in as small town your more likely to be xyz personality, and back round means if they where from a big city their background would be more sketchy) Life experience is things like (lost dad at young age and it gives plus’s like very driven and committed but is bad as there personality is worse) there background would be some thing like “he had an easy life or hard” life both with good and bad things.
2. If NCAA comes back, they should make it so you could transfer it over. (Like before)
3. Making a player should be more in depth like super star mode. Add sponsor ships and the ability to buy things with contracts (Making them useful) buying things adds to fame, can live stream it and make your self known, basically establishing your self as a big marketable star. Choose you parents, back story, home town, favorite team, personality’s (you will have multiple) your idol, college, and your goal for retirement
4. Add random events (the most extreme being death or loss of body parts like jpp and personality effects this)
5. Make progressing longer (quick first round draft pick I made took one year to be 99 overall on all pro, add some realism)
6. Everything you’ve said so far
7. Legacy means the news will talk about you more and get more money
8. Can start a family to make your personality, and reputation better, but means you may have an emergency (like an injury, this can happen with your parents as well)

I realize you put a lot of time into this and it looks cool. At the same time, I would rather Madden focus on things during the actual gameplay before worrying about this kind of stuff. For example, why is it that a 6 6 wide receiver cannot out play a5'9 corner?

I have always said they need to take some of the NCAA game suggestions to make the game better. One thing I love about ncaa 14 was during the week I messaged that a player was suspended for what ever reason and I had to play some one else that would be cool.
Also players level should go up and down. As far as scouting each team should have min.(4) scouts to go out and scout. Give us an
Coach tree(like) in NCAA 14. Custom draft was cool but give us the option to do it before we start a CFM. The relocation teams need to be updated ok. Uniforms updated so they have color rush jerseys as well allow us to put a team anywhere if I what a team in San Jose I should be able to.
If executed well, I think this would be great. I could see the AI having a hard time making it work right, but that's an acceptable trade-off. My biggest immersion issue (and you may be getting to it) is actually on the "Things to do." This is a key area where 2k has really outpaced Madden... there should be players wanting to engage and talk with you about their role, the owner should be trying to get involved, the GM making recommendations, the media asking questions.... Madden CFM as currently constructed has no personality or soul.
How important is the NFL brand, players association license? I wish 2K would make an alternative game that is just an incredible football game. Like make it a realistic sim, but have original teams, stadiums, original players with some personality, etc. Nothing hokey or gimmicky, just a fun pro football game.

But could you please do one this year too. Your the best. If I had the money. I would hire you and we'd make our own damn game! Oh yeah. # MOUTH PIECES AND TATTOOS!!!! Everything you suggested was great... All Good, where do we sign up?No more inner division opponents and different teams each year in Preseason. I like to see how my rookies pan out but I'm really tired of having to play the Lions against my Bears in the preseason... 2 times each season is enough.

Let me know what you think of this, it’s long hopefully you read it. Madden next year somethings I want with plays. I want for the punt return to be able to have two people back to return. I want more possible plays throwing to the qb for example qb hands it off to the wr then that wr hands it off to another and that could be a play in it’s self but then they can throw it too. I want more franchise updates overall I just want it to be more fun. Please add playable combine and I rather have a story line for a mycareer then long shot. I love your customization it would be nice to have more. Can you also add OBJ’s cleats into the game. I want customizable arena jersey field cleats visors and how you wear your clothes. A community area with your player where you can play with other people like mypark in 2k. This is something I thought would be pretty cool at the end of the game have a top 5 plays. Also when it’s lateral time at the end of the game can you have a play called lateral or something where you throw it to someone and then each player has a button over there head that you can lateral to. Hopefully this is all in Madden 20
Something else that I want is for there to be just a few college teams, we play as one of them and it’s in like the final four we play the two games and we get our recognition we go to the combine and depending on how we do in the combine and where we get drafted and how we did in college gives us our overall. We are finally in the pros now and there are two possible stories that can go from this, you start off starting or you work your way to start. A cool feature we can have is when we are getting money we can start buying things like a car or an outfit for when we arrive, gloves and what we wear pregame and during the game and some jewelry. Then the features we can have is us driving to the game from our home kind of free roam then us arriving to our stadium (something amazing you could have is stadium specific inside and outdoor driving to stadium looks). So we are at the stadium we all to our locker then we could go to the field for pregame and it’s like free roam at the stadium. Depending on fan interest we could go to the crowd sign autographs and take pictures. We can also dance with the music that’s on at the stadium. And we can catch, throw, run, block and play defense with teammates and coaches until the game starts. We could have interviews after the game and sign endorsements to be able to wear certain clothes and to be able to customize your fit like gloves and cleats.
Only if Madden would put this much effort into the game for hardcore fans who like building different franchises, and it's not just a simulation mode.

Madden: this is wonderful except we just don’t have the time to do it, we’re to busy with our head up our asses, but it’s something we are interested in and look to do in upcoming years

I think separate O coordinators and D coordinators along with position specific coaches would contribute because enjoys like josh McDaniels are nowhere to be found. Also, the option for auto generated alternate unis could be a thing. Also they need a replays of major highlights in the week, not just JoHnAtHaN cOaChMaN saying random ass stats at halftime. Also using the real announcers and networks (Ex. Al Micheals and Cris Collinsworth for SNF, Joe Buck and Troy Aikman for TNF) I got a lot of ideas, you listening EA?
This is all we ask for from EA ! Maybe 100 years from now they’ll actually listen I’m optimistic tho 😂

I'd like to see also something for player retirements and player awards. CFM is way too isolated and you never receive any relevant information for your team to plan for the future or your team's future. If a player retires, we don't know what we are losing.
