Yah as much as I hate him divulging his and Rocco's business with servers and hostesses I do think in the end Jefferey was 100% correct and Rocco turned out to be a huge douche.
Mama to Luke. "You gonna cook?" Luke (Dressed in his chef white and apron) to Mama "I wish i could". Mama "So what are you doing here then??" Way to go Mama lol
Anthony Camuccio i just read that he got arrested in February for shooting up houses www.newhopefreepress.com/2020/02/21/pineville-tavern-owner-charged-with-shooting-at-2-homes-with-pellet-gun/ 😂
Rewatching whole show now. Thanks for the upload. As an adult now watching, why didn’t Rocco understand Jeffrey is in it to make money and the restaurant wasn’t profitable? He got mad and called his lawyer instead lol
Someone needs to tell Jeffrey's Corporate Chef it's OKAY to be bald and he doesn't have to wear that ridiculous doo rag everywhere. Maybe it's okay in the kitchen, but in a restaurant to have dinner? Dude, I"M bald, and really, it's not fatal. LOL.
I really wanted some kind of bridge between seasons 1 and 2. Lots of people just disappeared between seasons and I was always curious if they got tired of the whole thing and quit or if Rocco flew off the handle and fired them.
This kid is an intern and he was told by Jeffery to observe, not to insult nor be behind the bar serving alcohol in which he's not suppose to. But Rocco needs to understand that Jeffery is the owner/partner and needs to be informed and Rocco is being arrogant and disrespectful to the man who front the money to open up Rocco's 22. If Rocco keeps up with his arrogance, he to should be shown the door..
Rocco had no financial management skills! he lived in a dream world and he thought he could do anything he wanted and had no respect for the dollars coming in and going out! he is way too self absorbed!
I realize this show is something like twenty years old, and most of this production was scripted - but not all, but it's pretty apparent from a business standpoint that Jeffrey was correct. The restaurant was packed every night, and from a casual observer's eye, there was some, not necessarily to an excess, but SOME, wasted labor. If a restaurant in NYC is packed and you're losing money due to operating costs, ummmm, it's NOT THE FINANCIER'S fault, but the management's fault. I've been in the restaurant industry in a managerial position and trust me, when you DO make money it's razor thin as far as profit margin, depending on, obviously, your costs, but usually the biggest cost is labor. It's NOT an easy industry hence the percentage of restaurants that go under all the time, and even established ones. Rocco here, whether it was due to the show's producers wanting the drama or whatever, decided on going with the "half" extra laborer rather than the "half" less laborer. Not too hard to really get. Costs that are fixed like rent are not manageable, but the costs that ARE like labor and to a certain extent food costs, you need to work and manage. Thus, some people are good business managers and some are not. Full disclosure; I was in the latter category.
What a GM lol. I have never seen him taking any responsibility or charge....he is like the french ghost. Even if he is talking, only negativity, or cannot do, or this is bad....= i would hire him
I think this was a experience as a whole seriously turning point for Rocco- he learned from his failure it was a shame this happened but good things came out if it I believe at least it was something to watch for a little while.
A little off topic....but, Does Laurent pencil in his eyebrows? They seem to be getting longer with each passing day...sort of like Rocco's nose, when he talks to his actors...I mean staff!
They did a good job with Drew though...I guess the casting director said, "be the most biggest ego driven, pretentious, know it all douche possible"... He did a good job... Too bad he hasn't been in another tv show or a movie yet...kid's a good actor...
1:11:14 some of these overdubs are so ridiculous and more than just a little insulting to the viewer. add a little mystery into the mix, the viewer does does not have to be reminded every second whats going on.
They all seem to be forgetting it's rocc o they come for not the food or drinks, and rocco don't need to be at the restaurant everyday, is Gordon Ramsay at his 30 some many stars resturaunt??? Rocco absolutely right away j every aspect, their idea of success is from frozen food cheap labor, he's like a Wendy's chain owner for Christ sakes...
Whoever uploaded these-Bless your sweet soul! I use to be glued to this show!
Yes!
😆me too 📺😳
I love it! A chef and his mom burn through someone else's money and take offense when they are called out for it.
Makes you wonder who was the idiot?
The little intern needs to be checked....everyone gets respect as long as HE gets it? Buahahahahahahah!
Drew "Rocco just Exploded on me!!!" Sounds disgusting lol
Drew deserved better.
Jefferey is and always will be a pioneer in the NYC restaurant scene.
Mama called it like it is.
Rocco has no idea how to run a restaurant he just wants to act like a big shot.
So Drew says "I've been in this business for a long time...15 years!!!" What!!!! Did he start waiting tables in the Womb??!!!!
15 years and he's still an intern??? Something is fishy.
Biggest douche ever....i wish someone would have punched him in the face..

that intern cracks me up... what a little dork
robertk2007 Someone needed to kick his ass
@@cheech41 he would box ur face
@@JJ-jv1gu I don’t think so.
Drew the intern turned out to be quite the Captain Douchebag himself.
A new word was added to the American lexicon after this episode:
Drewchebag
I love how Rocco left it open for Drew to be calling Emily " captain douchebag"
Not just Rocco but the camera set ups.
It’s made for tv drama some of the drama was very real much was not
Obviously it was set up , just the way they did it was so dumb
I would love to put drew in his place. If I worked there he would have been crying
I really wanted some kind of bridge between seasons 1 and 2. Lots of people just disappeared between seasons and I was always curious if they got tired of the whole thing and quit or if Rocco flew off the handle and fired them.
I would love to work for Jeffrey. He seems fair and wants to do right
Jeffrey has a checkered past with the feds...He is worse then Rocco!
He has an extensive criminal history including going to jail in the 90s for fraud.

He was just following the script
Grey’s Anatomy is less scripted than this.
Disagree this was one of last actual reality shows
You can clearly see this was pretty much scpirted lol @@andnear0U812
Am I the only one who finds "Mama" irritating?
She's dead now, so it's cool.
Who doesn't want to punch Drew in the face?
Amanda comes for Hostess job, told she's got the coat check job...and stays? lol.
Thanks Rocco for bringing your annoying chef friend for me to babysit while you avoid him during his entire visit.
Rocco had no financial management skills! he lived in a dream world and he thought he could do anything he wanted and had no respect for the dollars coming in and going out! he is way too self absorbed!
Rocco is an egotistical playboy type. Jeffrey is a responsible, business minded leader.
I realize this show is something like twenty years old, and most of this production was scripted - but not all, but it's pretty apparent from a business standpoint that Jeffrey was correct. Rocco should have been at this meeting to see the comparisons
Gordon Ramsay vs Rocco vs Drew Gordon in 30 seconds
Rocco should thank god the MeToo movement didnt exist in 04 lol. Total creep at the sight of a new chick lol
Jeffrey is an earner for a made guy. “Wise Guy”
I thought he looked like a typical NY Jew.
They 100% hung Drew out dry, buy on the flip slide, Drew is clearly an actor brought into do what he did.
Incorrect look him up he is/was the real deal
What a GM lol. I have never seen him taking any responsibility or charge....he is like the french ghost. Even if he is talking, only negativity, or cannot do, or this is bad....= i would hire him
Intern is a tool
Never understood why Rocco decided to be confrontational with Jeffrey. If he had worked collaboratively with him the place might still be there.
Agreed, he was full of himself behaving like a child
Does anyone else get the impression that Rocco was embezzling money from the restaurant?
I think this was a experience as a whole seriously turning point for Rocco- he learned from his failure it was a shame this happened but good things came out if it I believe at least it was something to watch for a little while.
Drew is terrific
Fixed show but intresting anyway
who was your dad? was he in the show?
Always thought Rocco was a douche bag the way he treated people
I wonder if Jefferey is still killing it in the restaurant business?
I don't kno who invented those chef coats but they suck to hot to uncomfortable I love the line cook shirts
A little off topic....but,
Does Laurent pencil in his eyebrows?
They seem to be getting longer with each passing day...sort of like Rocco's nose, when he talks to his actors...I mean staff!
The business cards expense says it all
The chick that drew is talking to at the table is a smokeshow
mama has more common sense and class than all of them combined
WTF, did Gideon just quit after they left him on the street and went to the beach party?
Was this show on the Food Network or Soap Net?
2003-2004 NBC
They did a good job with Drew though...I guess the casting director said, "be the most biggest ego driven, pretentious, know it all douche possible"...
He did a good job...
Too bad he hasn't been in another tv show or a movie yet...kid's a good actor...
Drew looks like he's just Jeffrey's son.
I thought the same thing.
jesus christ the wardrobes were so bad then
Drew deserved better.
The intern is ridiculous.

Thats a deluded thought
Rocco wasn't even coming in.
It's all scripted, an advertisement for a restaraunt that failed. Don't be fooled.
Glad rocco failed he's a terrible person
EMILY is a GEM! SHE SHOULD BE GOING PLACES IN THE WORLD!!!!! CAPTAIN, MAITRE D, SHE CAN DO MUCH BETTER!
Drew the intern is a jerk.
