@samoisfacey6998 nope, not an insult but a direct comparison on mindsets and dedication. We used to top tables and even 2nd place was a failure. Now we're so happy to be in 3rd, 4th, 5th or even 6th? Do is that still deemed an insult to you?
Look at the quality of the football man🎉🎉🎉... Becks and scholesy ping the ball around like they're in their backyard😊 See movement from the wingers and forwards... Look at the interplay. That Yorke finish... Can't be taught. makes it look so easy. Football players that don't need to be told their roles on a pitch... A joy to watch!
I was at this match. There was a funny moment that sticks out in my head. When the players were warming up on the pitch, Beckham was doing stretches, innocently thrusting his arse out, attracting cheers and wolf-whistles from the delighted ladies in the stands. Gary Neville noticed this and, smiling at the crowd, attempted the same sensual stretches, but got no reaction whatsoever. Next thing he's throwing his hands up in mock frustration, shouting, "You cheered for him, why not me?!" 🤣🤣
U just get a hard on Beckham thats all..in terms of accurate passing he was not alone,u have Pirlo,Giggs,Nani,Lampard ,Muller, those guys could place the ball under your nose too but Beckham was just good at free kicks too which is true
True. Becks never had to fully rely on his physique. He didn't even need to go around the defender... he could simply curl the ball around him. And that skill doesn't fade with age!
In term of raw talent, late 90s, 2000s generation is way better. But it’s mainly due to modern football being too focused on tactics and not allowing modern players to thrive. You can thank Pep😮
I really want to see this Manchester United team play against the current Manchester United team so we can experience what fluid, professional football is like.
Young Manchester would destroy them BUT they have the dog that Scholes and Beckham and others have. You give them the same sage, Old team destroy them. Modern football is too tactical
he's 53 years old, i'm shocked at how well he moves, it's crazy.. he's still probably playing football with his mates (or their sons, lol) on a regular basis
@BensonBoii Age doesn't kill ability, it kicks the bodies physical ability to perform at the highest level with younger people. You could in theory start a really successful retirement league, that would produce matches just like this one.
@BensonBoii they're there for fun. They're all middle aged men so they get more time on the ball, and technical skill is one of the last things to go. It's a perfect setting for them to show off. No pressure, low intensity, unserious, for-fun game. Most 'legends vs legends' games look like this.
As spanish and Real Madrid's fan I smile watching these LEGENDS!! What a pass time!! I miss M.United what i remember when i was a child. Hope come back again to the top ❤❤❤
Rangers fan here ! Neville is a tool but clearly he was a top player ! Strolled th3 game today at his age and during his playing time he was a solid 8 out of 10 for years. Never mind how many trophies he won. Owen is also a little tool but as a player wow ! Even the game against the rest of the world the other day he still got it.
@strangemachines_ For sure. You might think old guys putting on a show and having a laugh - anything but! Hard tackles, blinding speed, merciless attacks. Maybe Bayern thought of it as a bit like that but United were clearly living it again proper.
@vinnyd6227 And Scholes. I understand that you don't get to the top of the game without being competitive. But come on, no-one wants their ankles snapped at 50 in a friendly.
It’s always comical when I hear people say “Beckham wasn’t that good.” He was the epitome of an ACTUAL outside midfielder during that time. Could defend, attack, and his ability to pass and cross was phenomenal.
He was great.. but he isnt THAT good. he could defend attack.. but he wasnt the the best at either, there are many players that would've been better at those. he didnt have pace either. what he was really good at was his work rate.. and he was without a doubt the best at set pieces, crosses and passes.
@kennethting4874 “Good” is subjective. I can name 1-2 players that were better than him at the time in his position in the EPL and it was Giggs and Pires.
Being a fan of something is not a contract you can't break, it's always funny to me seeing adults acting like this :D "I'm a fan of x, but somehow i've managed to not hate y and i even like it" 🤣
Nah. Wishful thinking. In an actual match they're not getting that time and space and they'll have to run 3x as much. They would not last even at a lower level, let alone the Premier League. One thing is to put on a perfect cross with the leisure of being pressed by a bunch of old dudes, another is to compete with guys in their 20s going full throttle.
This Man United team is the dream team. They are much better than any current EPL team. The only problem they would have is lack of stamina/strength but talent wise they are much better.
Stam still a beast… scholes still got the vision to break up play and what can I say becks still pinging balls like it’s 2000!!! Nostalgia at it’s finest

I remember all of those names they were all the very best players ever in 199 and I it so good to see Paul again and Garry and to see beckham watt lends they were and it was so good to see sr Alex as manager again he was a very special manager for Manchester United as they won so many trophies and he was the best manager ever for Manchester United and it was really good to see the old team of Man U as they were so talented players ❤😊 and some of my favourite players from sr Alex time ❤😊 that goal from David was just incredible 🥰 that was my favourite goal 😊
This took me back to a period of my childhood, mid 90s, isle of wight, family all together watching the big telly. The games felt like they lasted all day, always such tension and fireworks as the clock ticked and whistles blew.

Beckham crosses are STILL ABSOLUTETLY ACCURATE
form geçicidir klas kalıcıdır
real
You don't just forget how to play football, when you were as good as he was it's timeless
Scholes too
i can't stop smiling through the game. my childhood heroes 😢
its that good stuff.. 90,s and 00,s even the 10,s where just awesome
Same. Smiling ear to ear. When the world made sense and football meant something.
Same
me too bro, i am really happy and were smiling during 18 minutes
The same satanic pdf-file Beckham who was playing for the devil all his life and is on Epstein files Beckham???
MUFC oldies have better football intelligence compared to the current squad
Is that suppose to be an insult👀🤨,because we have 55 points, with third on the table.
@samoisfacey6998 nope, not an insult but a direct comparison on mindsets and dedication. We used to top tables and even 2nd place was a failure. Now we're so happy to be in 3rd, 4th, 5th or even 6th? Do is that still deemed an insult to you?
The class of '92..graduates of total football😊
Look at the quality of the football man🎉🎉🎉...
Becks and scholesy ping the ball around like they're in their backyard😊
See movement from the wingers and forwards...
Look at the interplay. That Yorke finish... Can't be taught. makes it look so easy.
Football players that don't need to be told their roles on a pitch...
A joy to watch!
@orisunayoshokanlu2434absolutely 🎉
Can we get an over 45s league going. I'd watch this over the current league.
This is a great idea
There would.be too any injuries they wouldn't have enough players each week
Defo
I wish for a team with van niesteroy, Rooney, Beckham and muller 😛
Na, they can't possibly be cautious enough to stay injuries-free. You surely don't want to see an old boy crying. 😅😂
A 50yo Beckham is still better winger than 95% players today. How dare people call him overrated?
They call that cause David became very famous outside th field and back in the day everybody told about him. But he's a pure football genius.
Beckham was a winger?
How come he never went past anyone... Ever?
@FoobsTonyou must be young
@FoobsTonhis passes went pass everyone. That matters more. It's a stupid argument for sure. And I'm sure I can also find him passes someone.
He could probably be a modern day Kroos/ modric type player
They've been retired for so long but they still look better than today's players.
Maybe you should look better at today's players 😂
Tbh today's players r trash
@nijijung9438wrong so wrong
@keepitsimple79better than your mom
They are better except for stamina
Beckham and Scholes still cooking the field with the passing🔥🔥🔥🔥
Scholes diving into that tackle is great 👍
also stam killing people hahah
karel Poborsky too
Scholes's casual first touching pass at the start already send shivers down my spine, reminds me of the good ol days
@shawnchia3611 indeed :)
Scholes and Stam still flying into tackles LOL, some things never change
These Guys still wanna Kills the enemy Team ;-)
Honestly
Tình huống của Stam quá thô bạo với một trận giao hữu vui vẻ. Tình huống của Schole thì đã rút chân lại không có gầm giầy
😂😂😂
+1🎉🎉🎉
Beckham really keeps his stamina compared to his peers and even his juniors
I was at this match. There was a funny moment that sticks out in my head. When the players were warming up on the pitch, Beckham was doing stretches, innocently thrusting his arse out, attracting cheers and wolf-whistles from the delighted ladies in the stands. Gary Neville noticed this and, smiling at the crowd, attempted the same sensual stretches, but got no reaction whatsoever. Next thing he's throwing his hands up in mock frustration, shouting, "You cheered for him, why not me?!" 🤣🤣
Neville Acting like and angry middle aged white man
Do you know why the crowd is booing Scholes considering he was such a good player for them?
@michaelcollins5007does it have anything to do with his son?
@michaelcollins5007 they are saying shoot
@michaelcollins5007they’re saying “shoot” hoping for a 40 yard special 😅
I’ve been watching football for 30 years and still haven’t seen a better crosser of the ball than David Beckham
Trent is...
@radeon08who??
Luka Modric calling
U just get a hard on Beckham thats all..in terms of accurate passing he was not alone,u have Pirlo,Giggs,Nani,Lampard ,Muller, those guys could place the ball under your nose too but Beckham was just good at free kicks too which is true
Chris Brunt is the only player close
Beckham and Scholes passing at 40+ still would embarrass most of the prem league now
Just show u how far the individual talent levels have dropped
It's all tip tap boring one yarders nowadays.
David Beckham proving that class is permanent
So is being a narcissistic twat
Absolutely
Present Beckham is still better than many present players.....unbelievable
100%
True. Becks never had to fully rely on his physique.
He didn't even need to go around the defender... he could simply curl the ball around him. And that skill doesn't fade with age!
Him and Scholes passing would absolutely embarrass most footballers today, even still
Most players now system players, not where near the talent level
In term of raw talent, late 90s, 2000s generation is way better. But it’s mainly due to modern football being too focused on tactics and not allowing modern players to thrive. You can thank Pep😮
I really want to see this Manchester United team play against the current Manchester United team so we can experience what fluid, professional football is like.
The old would easily win
Young Manchester would destroy them BUT they have the dog that Scholes and Beckham and others have. You give them the same sage, Old team destroy them. Modern football is too tactical
@waynetraylen7444you are on drugs
Poborský’s skill and elegance on the pitch are still simply pure class.
he's 53 years old, i'm shocked at how well he moves, it's crazy.. he's still probably playing football with his mates (or their sons, lol) on a regular basis
I was amazed too at how he moved!
Poborsky really still has it...amazing player back then and still great
Genuinely so impressed with the quality of football in this game
I was going to say this mate its unreal for their ages
@BensonBoii Age doesn't kill ability, it kicks the bodies physical ability to perform at the highest level with younger people.
You could in theory start a really successful retirement league, that would produce matches just like this one.
@BensonBoii they're there for fun. They're all middle aged men so they get more time on the ball, and technical skill is one of the last things to go. It's a perfect setting for them to show off. No pressure, low intensity, unserious, for-fun game. Most 'legends vs legends' games look like this.
Becks looks like he could still play today 😂
As spanish and Real Madrid's fan I smile watching these LEGENDS!! What a pass time!! I miss M.United what i remember when i was a child. Hope come back again to the top ❤❤❤
Tener a Zidane, Casillas, Roberto Carlos, y Ronaldo Nazario en el mismo equipo fue increíble
Smiling for 18 minutes for no reason!
Not even a united fan but I was the same 😂
He can't be trusted, anyone who supports him is a Gammon !
Non stop smile on my face
Nonstop
Just to see masters of their craft at work😀!
The '99 Manchester United squad... my childhood, my memories, my happiness.
Those were the good ol days mate!
@Sid62999/2008 smoking hot man united team
Legends league is needed !!!! League of legends every year for retired pro footballers would be amazing
Beckham still has it. He never age a bit. 💪 💯
He looks like a young old man im 61 and look younger than him
Who are these trash players, where is the press, where is the speed, my grandma would play better then these trashcans
@freedom4life123I doubt that
Your dumb if you dont think it's not paid for.
@freedom4life123 Your wife tells you that, lol.
I stopped watching football 15 years ago, and I’m not a united fan… but this was an absolute pleasure to watch. I miss the old days
Me too. 😊👍
I thought you stopped 15 years ago?
@philla7008 I stopped following footy as well... but alas.... here i am checking out the LEGENDS.
Ditto
I pretty much stopped not long after they completed the treble, it was all downhill from there. This is the first match I've enjoyed watching in years
BECKHAM STILL LOOKS YOUNG THIS GUY DOESN'T AGE
Gary Neville still struggles in front of goal😂😂
🤣 he’s trying so hard to belong 🤣 you’re a right back Gary just stick to it😂
Rangers fan here ! Neville is a tool but clearly he was a top player ! Strolled th3 game today at his age and during his playing time he was a solid 8 out of 10 for years. Never mind how many trophies he won.
Owen is also a little tool but as a player wow ! Even the game against the rest of the world the other day he still got it.
yes he sucks wasnt that good of a defender either hes good at talking rubbish though and taking qataris money lol
Fuck neville he's a disgrace to his country
@mariacasson clearly never watched Gary at his Prime...how old are you even?😂
No.14 Poborsky is underated, he's pretty GOOD
he is amazing actually, I was surprised
Baller!!
yea he was way underrated
Poborsky would be a standout player today IMHO, he was unfortunate to be overshadowed by what was pretty much a team of absolute superstars.
Kept his fitness after all these years
Proof that the class is permanent
These 40/50/60 year old men put more effort in than the current united team
Literally look more engaged, confident and sharper than current team lmao 😂 it’s actually insane
@strangemachines_ For sure. You might think old guys putting on a show and having a laugh - anything but! Hard tackles, blinding speed, merciless attacks. Maybe Bayern thought of it as a bit like that but United were clearly living it again proper.
Yorke at 50 is better than any current striker 🤣
Sharp as a razor a shame Andy Cole wasn’t involved.
was about to say that
So what happened to ronaldo, harry kane, haaland ? Stop being delusional kid
@BestOyedeji-k2p Ur Haaland fan so you are the kid!
GREAT PLAYER FROM TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO
Love the comraderie and friendliness! This is what sport should be, not aggressive anger….
Hard not to be a fan of Beckham
gay
Sir Beckham
@freedom4life123not as gay as your profile picture. Fck pot and kettle remark right there
The same satanic pdf-file Beckham who was playing for the devil all his life and is on Epstein files Beckham???
@emilnielsen3671pdf-file child eating satanic servant Beckham
doesn't look like a friendly lol
Stam’s tackle was wild 😂
its in old trafford, you cant play low block. Its boring. So they played united way
@vinnyd6227 And Scholes. I understand that you don't get to the top of the game without being competitive. But come on, no-one wants their ankles snapped at 50 in a friendly.
@Climbatron still a game of football they know what they sign up for.
it never, really is...
I feel like scholes could genuinely still do a job for united
It’s always comical when I hear people say “Beckham wasn’t that good.”
He was the epitome of an ACTUAL outside midfielder during that time. Could defend, attack, and his ability to pass and cross was phenomenal.
He wasn’t that good generally, did one thing that was world class…pinging a ball.
He was great.. but he isnt THAT good. he could defend attack.. but he wasnt the the best at either, there are many players that would've been better at those. he didnt have pace either. what he was really good at was his work rate.. and he was without a doubt the best at set pieces, crosses and passes.
@edwardcarney7569 You did't play for Man United (at that time), Real Madrid, gain lots of caps and captain England if you weren't good.
@kennethting4874 “Good” is subjective. I can name 1-2 players that were better than him at the time in his position in the EPL and it was Giggs and Pires.
Yea he wasn’t that good. Great at long passes and was a celebrity
Stam being Stam ❤
Sama seperti yang aku pikirkan saat tadi melihat stam teckel... Naluri nya masih sama
Stam and Scholes taking shins 😂
They were pretty clean though
Stam being stam
Menace
Poborsky still has it! Pure class!! I am so glad I got to see him play for my Benfica - childhood hero!
Ferguson never gets old. Love him.
Ferguson always looked really old, so now he looks like he doesn't age.
@temporaryhuman-n2y😂
The boss..
I am a Liverpool fan. This still made me smile.
+1
Uguale. Da un tifoso Juventino.
Being a fan of something is not a contract you can't break, it's always funny to me seeing adults acting like this :D "I'm a fan of x, but somehow i've managed to not hate y and i even like it" 🤣
@DoctorStrange01Shut up you bell end. He is a rival and still enjoyed it with respectful appreciation.
I'm MU fans, those day was Steve McManaman, Robbie Fowler, Micahel Owen. TBH, I enjoy football match more during 90s. 😄
Never grow old for these legends! Still lethal shots.
Beckham with those backspin long range passes is just phenomenal.
The vision, the touch, the iconic hand movement - haven't lost any of it.
💪👏
Podborski and Beckham both defying age. They could play 45 minutes for a lot of clubs still.
I dont think so...
In this game is not much pressing from both team.
This Man United team is the dream team. They are much better than any current EPL team. The only problem they would have is lack of stamina/strength but talent wise they are much better.
Scholes and Beckham are both timeless
Beckham still got it
Just smiling while watching this.
Old players still playing better than most young players we have now
Beckham masih sngt layak bermain di Man united era sekarang
Stam still a beast… scholes still got the vision to break up play and what can I say becks still pinging balls like it’s 2000!!! Nostalgia at it’s finest
Gary Neville couldn't hit a barn door 😂
David Beckham!!!!!! No limit… absolutely great player and legend💯❤️
Best part is when Gary Neville was getting booed when ever he gets the ball 😂
Yh well traitors deserve worse than boo's 😊
@O-o-Azazel-o-O cringe, just enjoy the game
It seemed like they was booing Scholes no?
He's such a plonker.
The crowd was shouting 'Shoot' not booing him, same with Scholes.
Beckham was like a kid again when he scored. The genuine joy on his face.
I was a kid again for 18 minutes watching this video, with the same joy on my face.
That is as a fantastic watch that . All players are still fantastic. Some pure class there back in the day
Litteraly mind blown at the athletisism these guy's are still showing at their ages, truly incredible!
Living legends never die, the Golden Age of football on the pitch 😍✨✨✨
beckham looks like he could still play 😭
Their passing accuracy is on another level 🤯
It's refreshing ND feels as if current squad learning
This game held my attention more than anygame in the last 20 years ...what a team to watch ..
Ya sudah, tonton terus pertandingan ini. Jangan tonton pertandingan sepak bola modern ya.
Beckham's pass lines are still very sharp. I'm into watching the way he plays football. What a legend no.7!
Man I just missed Roy Keane in there. The legends in both teams 🙂
And Giggs
@HectorGonzalez-s8t And Rooney
@teshomemulugeta4863lmao he wasnt of this era! 😂
@HectorGonzalez-s8t oh yeahh Giggs
bro. The accurate of the passing ball from beckham still on fire...damnnn
Bro 😂
agree
Beckham got Time For a free kick! And he still got IT!😊
Most fun ive had watching United play in over a decade
Me too....SD
Beckham can play in current Manu after some training. This dude sends the ball much much better than any current Manu player 😂
I 10000% agree
Stam doesnt do friendlies xD
I'm a Chelsea fan but I really enjoyed this match seeing all these LEGENDS from back In the day great match 💪
United should sign Beckham for just those perfect crosses!
EA Sports FIFA 99... this is the team I played with for hours and hours! Good old days
Becks made me fall in love with Man United. Absolute legend!
A million times better than today man united team. They're more enjoyable to watch too
So true. Proper football players this lot.
They’re still good despite not training every day
that proud look of a father! sir alex!❤
seeing these guys old makes me really sad, i used to be a kid watching these players thinking life would always stay this good
That was like reliving history, watching that. Amazing memories. It was always electric to watch Utd. Made me emotional.. 👌💪🙏

Quality never fades. Beckham and Podolsky giving a masterclass in great football
I'm not really a soccer fan, but for whatever reason, this match brought a lot of joy to me. The accuracy of Beckham's passes are insane!
Whats Soccer?
Not a man u Fan but what a team they had. Shame Giggs wasn't there.
He was in some one else's bedroom !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
David Beckham, nach wie vor einer der Größten. Was für Pässe und was für eine Leistung und das als "Rentner" ! Unfassbar
Everybody is smiling, such a joy to see this.
Even though I'm a Liverpool fan, I really enjoyed watching this video. Old school! Real football!

they had to make sport in this generation, today they are talk in front of the game who W...!🦍in circus

I weep inside today, seeing the slow death (1878-2013) of the once-greatest club of all time after Sir Alex Ferguson's official retirement.
I could just close my eyes and see this glorious 99 squad lift that UCL final. One of my fondest memories as a youngster
All I can say is David Beckham was born with passing skills and sent to this world to play good football
This is proof that what some of these players are achieved is die to no luck. Look at how Beckham and Scholes are playing these matchs. They take it seriously, go all in. No wonder when they were in it, they were part of the best players on earth. This is winner mentality alongside talent
Watching it in February 2026 and still loving it 😊.
So when was it played
Бэкхем, конечно, легенда, икона и т.д., от его кросса на первых секундах видео аж мурашки пошли.. Но какой же матч выдали не меньшие легенды Сколз и Батт! Ну просто наслаждение за таким смотреть.

Louis Saha always delivers no matter how underrated he has been
Underrated? Bang average.
Gary Neville trying to be as good as the rest 😂
What a team that was!!!
I think scholes could still play for the first team. Class
Whenever Teddy Sheringham played for England, you just knew that England were gonna win. You just had that feeling that miracles were gonna happen.
Such an underrated comment so true
Stam is still dangerous 😮
Craig David once sorted him - in a Charity match 😂
Beckham, Pirlo, Zidane, Xavi, Scholes, have better accuracy than the current era midfielders 😂
I felt my back give way when Nicky Butt tried that overhead kick.
Oh, full of memories
Man so much nostalgia. These legends, Sir Alex wow. Brings back so many memories where I never missed a match when they played.
This took me back to a period of my childhood, mid 90s, isle of wight, family all together watching the big telly. The games felt like they lasted all day, always such tension and fireworks as the clock ticked and whistles blew.
They still got the magic touch Scholes long passes still the best 👌 👍
