O Allah, I am Your slave and the son of Your male slave and the son of Your female slave. My forehead is in Your Hand (i.e. you have control over me). I am subject to Your judgement and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You - by every name that is Yours, by which You have named Yourself, or taught any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with You - to make the Qur’ān the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief and the reliever of my anxiety. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “There is no one amongst you who, when he is stricken with grief and anxiety, says [the above] except that Allah will remove his grief and anxiety, and will give him joy instead.” The companions said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, should we not learn these words?’ He ﷺ replied, ‘Of course! SubhanAllah! We can't never be finished with the Quran. It's our lifeline to jannah. No matter how many times we read it, we need to implement the words of الله in our daily lives until our last breath. I ask You by every name belonging to You which You named Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or You taught to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the life of my heart and the light of my bosom, and a departure for my sorrow and a release for my anxiety. Note: Allah will take away the anxiety and sorrow out of the heart of him who recites this supplication, as mentioned in this hadith by our prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

The Messenger peace be on him replied ,”Yes , whoever hears them should learn them “
This is all wrong. The Quran is in Arabic, relate to the Quran in which you don't understand... He is saying exactly that. Shows the stupidity of this ummah with dumb scholars. The first thing is to seek Allah SWA Rehma and guidance (hedaya) and make the intention of learning Arabic. In the meantime do salah and thanks Allah SWA for guidance.
