i just bought the ideapad pro 5 14 inch gen 9, with the AMD 7 8845hs, 16 gb, RTX 3050 6 gb, 1 tb ssd. Its a very well built laptop. I use it for, studying, private administration, photo- and video editing. I dont play games (for that i have a pc with my ryzen 7 7800x3d) I think its pretty good for these tasks. I never hear the fans. The screen is really good and the wifi is fast and stable and the battery life is decent. Its a pleasure to work this laptop, highly reccomended.

I think you'd need optimus for that, and that's only in gaming laptops (I think, might be in some high end thin too). Though I'm sure it won't feed full watt to the GPU When it's not used, and frankly you can put it in lower performance mode to make it clock it down.

It's a 2K (1600p) screen so no problem for text clarity, and same for color everything work on my side (it's not a screen for professional color work, but for a little bit of gaming with the 120hz refresh rate, task that don't need professional color screen and everyday task it's pretty good).
