The rifter is by far one of my favorite ships in EVE. i really need to get out and do a lot more solo pvp, and this mightve been what i needed. thank you for your hard work :)
This fit is hilarious, and looks a lot like the dual MASB kestrels I used to fly around Eha back in the day. They weren't good, but nobody expects the capless, 0 range control brick. You have invented the faster brick?
Funny you mentioned the MWD Merlin. I actually fit one specifically to fight an Imperial Navy Slicer, and it was fun. I also found a LML Garmur in a plex who apparently wasn't very good, because I caught him and killed him too. A few days later, I had to stop pretending I was good at PvP when a skilled Garmur pilot nuked me. 🤣 Edited: It was a Slicer, I originally said Crucifier.
The Mighty Rifter. The Best ship in the game ;). I had a dual rep with the old slot layout a few years back. I found it hard to get in the grove at the start of fights and the initial damage was something that was hard to deal with. But if i did i was able to tank really well and kill things.
Guys how do you find more ships when roaming for pvp ? like on 2hours i got 1 fight, it's kinda frustrating, like i know how d-scan works but i don't see that much pvp opportunities
"The vigil fleet is not known to have a lot of DPS" Well i have a fit that can easily go above 250 DPS heated, and in most of the fight heat is not an issue as you will wreck most of your targets in under 30 seconds!
Welcome to hel... err, I mean Eve :D Good question btw. With rapid lights the rack holds much fewer charges than other weapon systems and has a much, much longer reload time. When using Rapid missiles you want a damage per hit bonus instead of rate of fire bonus to help kill a target b4 you have to reload. Otherwise you set there reloading while your target is repairing. Hope that helps :)
I love your vids man so good, can you take a look at the new assault damage control. I can send isk if needed for trying a few ships, i survived a gate camp 2 carriers and insta lock ships in a vaga made it back to gate and tanked it very well with new damage control, ships like twin rep deimos vagabond active tank ships tanks 3-5k for that during cycle of damge control.
mostly starting in the plex and taking advantage of my falloff... I don't know rly lol, think I will make a chapter two Rifter video for this fit soon :)
