  • Another project adventure begins with Nick and Andrew from Hook, Line and Sinker. This time it's a mid-horse power challenge between the two as they try and find the perfect boat to take a Yamaha f70 four stroke outboard.

    Wow. Reading the comments here, it seems a lot of folks are kinda missing the point of the show.
    Yes, Yamaha have CLEARLY donated the motors and they’re built a small series showcasing how versatile you can be with them. It’s not as though they’re saying ‘We put 5 different brands to the test to see who comes out on top’ 🤷🏼‍♂️ They’re pretty up front about this series being all about a new model YAMAHA.
    Just enjoy the show, have a laugh and maybe pick up some tips n tricks that’ll help you along your own boating journey.
    Love your show guys 😁👍👍👍

    If the cat was his pride and joy why was he selling it ?

      Just so happens I can tell you because it's me the owner. Purely to piss Andrew off with his stupid bass boat infatuation (that and I had committed the ultimate sin of buying another cat before selling). Nick if you read this you're a wise man with an eye for a bargain and someone who wants the best! Regards Tony.

      Because he knew how much they like to roll over

    • @Spreytony
      @Spreytony 3 года назад +1

      @@mz22wa Well documented the roll angle sensors of four strokes weren't designed for the acute angles cats are capable of achieving in certain conditions (that send a mono scurrying back to port usually) resulting in an engine cutout and over she goes. Until you've owned one you merely repeat what the flock says.

    Sorry guys, but your Yamaha advertisement dressed up as project boat series isn't fooling anyone. You even had the cheek to show us that you enjoyed the food at the all expenses paid Yamaha junket.
    We get that you are sponsored and that clearly Yamaha is your major sponsor and they expect something in return, but please show us more on the technical side of the boats (other than motors) you chose to modify so we can learn what to look out for with second hand boats and what you plan to do other than putting a Yamaha on the transom.
