2:07 I’m being honest, this part was the hardest in the level for me, one you cross the blue gravity portal, the timing is so hard. I’ve preactived to get the ufo part without checkpoints, but it’s always this part that gets me. I’m not rlly good anyways, cause I’m my best practice run, it took me like 80 attempts to beat it.
some extra tips: 1. at 45% the yellow orb, theres an invisible block beneath so you can delay it pretty easily 2. at 49% you can skip one platform by just ignoring the blue orbs but imo its harder so its a preferecen thing 3. at 57% if you struggle with the drop timing in the little ufo part you can atually buffer a jump right before hitting the gravity portal so you slide on the pillar below making the pink orb timing easier 4. at 70% the dual ship part, the physics are weird because it uses the upside down ship physics for both so it might help focusing on the flipped ship to control it better 5. at 85% if you go for the coin, buffer every orb including the invisible one to not hit the sawblade my last advide is to just keep going, it might fell like you dont make much progress because the first wave is a massive skill check and you dont pass it as often as youd like but if you practiced the rest, you should be able to do it easily
3:10 theres actually an easier way. After you do those 3 orbs you click RIGHT BEFORE the portal so it gets you down on the 1 block platform. Then just jumo straight away and keep going
2:47 There is a block under the yellow orb after the first cube timing jump which let's you just jump without any consequences. Hold after the first jump of the cube
If you’re having trouble clicking the yellow late then this is a good strat. It didn’t work for me because the slight height difference makes it to where you click the pink orb slightly earlier and lower which makes the blue orb timing extremely hard: If you buffer, you hit the spikes above, but if you wait a millisecond too long you hit the spike right on the blue orb. Timing the yellow makes the blue orb timing much easier and in my opinion, the yellow orb timing is more lenient than the blue orb timing that occurs when you hold past the yellow.
Bro that first mini wave part is fucking impossible. I stg if I was consistent with that I would beat the level tomorrow. It’s my first day actually playing the level like fr and I already got 63-100

Don't do what this dude says to do at 0:54, if you dip down you have a very good chance of hitting a spike. I recommend to go up from the platform. At 1:58 I recommend you to not hit the pink orb and just double click very fast, thats much more consistent and it's easier. At 3:52 I like to bounce on the platform under the portal, idk why I do it I'll be honest. At 4:05 do two light clicks, it's easier than straightflying. At 4:30 I recommend to double click and on the second click hold, the reason is because there is no slope there, there is a block, and double clicking would be more consistent than having to risk doing it in one click At 4:36 do two big hold to align yourself, then straightfly, straightflying into it isn't always reliable
I’ve never tried to go up right away at the ship part, this video is just some tips that helped me beat it. It might be easier for some people to do it your way though so thanks for sharing. The double click just sounds a lot harder imo but eh. Thanks for the comment :)
@@Squiggs Idk I always died at the ship when I dipped down and when I didn't double click at the wave I also most of the time died. I found out a way to make the first wave super easy: If you play the wave at faster speeds, then do the actual wave it would quite literally feel like 0.5x speed, which makes it a lot easier.
@@sasdrob Everyone has their own way of doing levels, and I agree with some of your points being easier. Like the two clicks in the straitfly. I usually do it like that so idk why i didn’t do it in my completion attempt.
I don't why even the first wave is easy for me, and the rest of the level as well, but pretty much after 10k attempts I still can't make through that straight fly on 40% man it's a pure hell for me

Im trying to beat Cata since few days ago, above 11k att, my best run was 0 - 38%, 40 - 67%x2 and 64 - 100%x6. My best practice was 52 att and fluked from 72 to 100%. Do you guys think i can pass it in a pair of months? im not that good at this game, like my hardest is sidestep and i got only 27 demons.
That's some really good progress! If you did this in just a couple days then I think you should be able to beat it in a month or two. Don't get demotivated if that doesn't happen though. Jumping so far up in difficulty takes a lot of time, but not many things beat the feeling of when you see the "level complete" screen on a new hardest, so I say go for it :)

i have 71% and getting burnt out, maybe i should beat a few more insane demons. i jumped from only being able to do easy demons, to attempting an extreme in a few months.
I'm trynna beat Cataclysm as my 4th demon, i've got really good progress but the 31% double click and also the 47% clicks are choke points for me i just can't do them :(
Im having the exact same chokepoints right now. I did like 50-100 a while ago and it took me around 150 atts, i put 600 atts to 47% and passed it like twice overall

You can actually skip the orb spam at 49% by just jumping late from the first to the second platform

You can also miss the 3rd blue orb in the piano part by waiting just a bit after the 2nd orb for me its more consistent
