I think a bigger reason that Yeti King is so hard to deal with is that he's a plant boss hunt, and plants don't have as many good choices (in my opinion) for Boss Hunts (or maybe it's just a preference). But the real reason is that it's so hard to watch him dab, and then you have to do the fight while blind.
Honestly, most of the difficulty of spooky squash comes out of the complexity of the stuff you need to do to even begin to damage the thing. If you’re playing with an experienced team, that knows what they’re doing and can communicate properly, this fight will be a cakewalk. Playing with random is pretty much a death sentence since they almost always step out of line and completely mess up the procedure.
I have 100% trophies for both the base game and the trials of gnomus and I'm just grateful for my extreme obsession with this game 9 years ago cuz there was no way I was ever getting that boss hunt trophy now

We used the Private Play Remastered mod, which gives us access to all game modes in the game (or just the most prominent). However, there are some mods that allow you to play Boss Hunt with AI teammates instead of players if you don't have anyone to join you.

Nah, plants have a lot of crowd control abilities and a lot of turrets that can deal with bosses. Not just one
It's the dumb freezing and enemy spam that doesn't even make the fight fun. It's just for the sake of being hard lol

In my experience, you still get the achievements for playing Boss Hunt. At least through Private Play Remastered.
