This is good content. I like that you didn't moan and complain about the price like so many other RUclipsrs. People often forget that Benchmade isn't selling you on a bang-for-buck proposition. It's a tool, a work of art, and an investment. If I wanted a good American knife for the money, I'd spend $35 on a Buck 112 Slim Select. If I want something unique, and a usable tool, I'll bring a Benchmade.
People complain about the price because for what you're getting, it is overpriced compared to many other offerings. That being said, I don't care that it's overpriced and I will be purchasing one anyways because it's absolutely gorgeous and I want it.
@@HelplessTeno That's entirely opinion. These aren't overpriced for the job they were designed for. They're overpriced for people who think they need a bomb proof knife to open boxes.
@@sammiches6859 that’s funny. I actually have owned and given away several to my nephews years ago. I still daily carry the aluminum 945, I’ll just never buy another bm, they’re ridiculously priced now for the average working man.
I love the full size auto Adamas, I have to do crazy shit to my knives at work and the Adamas eats it up (like cutting giant lithium batteries) and when I was assaulted it literally saved my life pulling out that beast
I 100% agree on the having a quality tool AND using it. Lots of people baby their expensive stuff. I have several knives and guns but have no “safe queens” with proper oiling and maintenance of your tools and weapons they can sustain hard use. I buy knives like benchmades FOR hard use. I can feel a hell of a lot better about using them hard with their lifetime warranty
The mini Adamas(crew wear) is one my most regretted knife purchased, other than a kizer. It's an awkward sized knife for me, maybe if you have child sized hands. Stock and grind is way to thick... a fine pry tool

@@sammiches6859nope, totally overpriced. Fanboy club only nowadays
@@ponolovefarms3926 Look, if you're too poor for decent steel, that's fine, but just because you can't afford something doesn't make it overpriced.
