The problem that I am facing while solving numericals is that the calculation work is very tedious like square root of 553.66. Also division and multiplication are tedious.

      Hi Devi,
One thing you can do with calculations is that if the options are far from each other, you can do approximate calculations. For example, to find the square root of 553.66, I know that 25 squared is 625 and 20 squared is 400. This means square root of 553.66 is inbetween 20 and 25. So I will go and check if 23 is its root. 23 squared is 529 which is close to 553.66. So the answer is close to 23.

In 2nd question system was thermally insulated so how can u say that internal energy decreases instead it should be 0

      Hi Sakshi,
Even if the system is thermally insulated, the system will loose its internal energy by doing work. This process is called as adiabatic process.

Sir first question mein Aapke logic se toh cylinder mein vacuum ban Jayega. Will the cylinder not come in equilibrium when it's pressure becomes 1 atm?

      HI Vikas,
Good observation. You are right, but if we see the final volume of the gas, it is equal to 2.4L/min*920min = 2208 L. The volume of the gas present inside the cylinder finally is only 16 L which is very small compared to 2208L. So you can neglect the final amount of gas present in the cylinder.

sir how can you say that the same no molecuse will be outer as well as inside in ques. no 1

      Hi Gaurav,
When the entire gas leaves the cylinder, the number of molecules which were inside the cylinder before opening it is same as the number of molecules which are outside the cylinder when it is empty.
